Mack - you are living my dream! To be a "c" cup again instead of a 'DD' - bring it on! Congratulations!

My non-scale victory is putting all my old bras in the bin and swapping to new smaller and more attractive numbers with a C cup instead of DD.

I cleaned my room today, and my wardrobe, the result? over a clothes basket full of old skirts etc that are either too big, or i dont like the way they sit on me now and make me look bigger :( I can now put my new clothes away .... till mum finishes ironing tonight :(

Raaraa & Sassy - Love your NSV's.

Had one myself today.

Packed a back pack & went bush walking this morning. When I got back 2 hours later I was thrilled to find I had comforatbly walked over 12km. Pretty fab considering until June this year I wouldn't shop if I couldn't get a park out the front of my destination as walking half a block would tire me out.

Love your NSV Sassy. My husband promised he would learn to dance if I lost significant weight. He is getting nervous now because I will hold him to that promise. Congratulations to everyone on their NSV's. May you have many more. Mack

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
Ok I have a little bit of a silly one but I was always sad that I wasn't going to be able to put my little one on my lap while driving in the driving so he could pretend to drive as my tummy could barley fit under the steering wheel at 170kg's.

Well today I have lost 93kg's and I was able to fit my 3 year old on my lap and let him think he was driving down the drive way. The happiness in his face was worth ANY pain and hardship I have been through to get to here!!

Keep up the GREAT inspiring work guys!!!!

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
I do a lot of walking (since banding) to keep fit and obviously to assist with weight loss. I've had several strangers stop me and comment. Today a lady called from across the street "I've seen you before - you are doing so well". A postie stopped me yesterday and wondered how many kms I've walked in the last 12 months, also commenting that I had lost a lot of weight. Another person asked if there was a street in our suburb that I hadn't walked, and made reference to my 'fast-diminishing rear end'.

Nice to be told by complete strangers that you've come a long way and are looking terrific.

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
My latest NSV....well i'm rather tall (as well as wide)and at the weight i was prebanding there was no way that was able to get behind the wheel of a small car....that was until the other day when my car broke down and had to drive my mothers. I opened the door and thought that there is no way i'm going to fit but surpirse surpirse i did and have continued to drive it because it gives me a buzz everytime.

I am not sure if this is a NSV. I can now buy pretty bra's but now have one boob nearly a whole cup size smaller than the other. Not noticable until I put a bra on.
Keep smiling

Also size 12 skirt although a gypsy skirt but fitted around the hips and then falls away. Also went to kmart today and found some tops - girls express I realised later which have to be smaller and managed to get a 14 and 16!!

OK Susie, thanks for the postive example. I can't walk 10 km yet but I did walk for 45 minutes at a nice steady pace yesterday.

It felt good to get moving again. Mack

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
My NSV this morning is that I'm about to head out the door for a 10km walk. Not because I should, or I have to ... but because it's a glorious morning and I get so much enjoyment out of exercise these days, that I WANT to get out of bed on a Sunday morning and put my runners on!!

My band has truly changed my life :-D

Re:NSV's Reply to this message
Hey Mack

I have noticed the same things with my shoes too - none of my summer sandles fit as my feet slide right out of the front part that can't be adjusted.

I have had my first clean out too but have kept a pair of jeans (sz 22 - very tight at time) and bra that I had a before photo in the night before the op surgery for my monthly before and after shot. When I put those jeans on now and walk they slip down to my ankles - wow - I never thought that would happen.

Go the band and me of course!!!!

Not many clothes in the wardrobe now but hey who cares !!!

Cheers

Arn
