| Debra 116, Where did you do your hypoxi cellulite therapy at? And have you moved to Griffith yet? Is it a permanent fix, or something you would have to do regularly? |

No Jan, she is actually Australian, lol!
She works for a mob i won't name in Surry Hills(?) who do a lot of the pattern making for the big designers. They had a lot of her stuff in the Fashion Week shows last month. I was really proud of her, she has worked tirelessley to get where she is at her tender age :) Opposite end of the spectrum to us oldies, hehe, can't get a break if your 20 and can't get a break if your an oldie or a person of superior girth, lol!
I hope you nab a great assistant and come up with an eyecatching design for the label!
Lizzardbell = Isabella BTW, hehe, Whoever it was that liked that:) The indignities of the things your family calls you when you're a kid, LMAO! |

Thanks everyone for your well-wishes!
Don't worry Lizzard I'll make sure those waistbands fit on dem dare trouse!
Trish & Linda, *sniff* I've been doing plenty of that over the weekend. People are so happy for me but most don't realise just how much it means. Not having a weight issue in the way of my confidence and self esteem has given me an incredible sense of freedom and power.
Also to land a real design job in this economic climate and AT MY AGE is close on being a NSM...ie a Non Scale Miracle!!
I've been up since 4am this morning, trying to think of a clever name for the label and writing an ad for my new assistant. Lizzard, does your son's GF speak Mandarin?
Jan - xxxx and ooooo for everyone!! |

Thats fantastic Jan...now....do us all a favour and reshape all the waistbands on pants so that they don't gape open and show your butt crack to the world when you squat down, LOL! We're counting on you girl!
Seriously tho, thats a tough industry. My sons girlfriend is a pattern maker (pattern designer?), so i hear about it all the time. Congratulations on achieving such a high position.
The sky is the limit when you don't have a lifetimes worth of weight issues dragging you down :) |

I've had a huge NSV. (for me).
I've finally landed a job as head designer for a new womenswear label. It's taken me years to get the confidence to go for these big jobs. After losing such a large amount of weight, I feel nothing can stop me now.
A big thankyou to my bandy.

Just wanted to let everyone know about the great success i've had doing hypoxi cellutlite therapy. It involves cycling for 30 min while you lower half is within a vacuum chamber. It is supposed to help smooth and tone legs, butt and thighs. I was sceptical but signed up for the 12 visit package.
All I can say is it worked!! In all I lost 33cm from the area between stomach to my knees. The biggest loss was 9 cm around my bottom, 6cm from my stomach, and 3 cm from each knee. I had this bulge of fat on the inside of my knees and that is reduced! My cellulite is still there but my new size 10 jeans feel so good.
I think of it as a bit of fine tuning and polishing of certain areas of my budy.
Worth the money. Considering going back for more!! |

congratulations losingit
what wonderful feeling for you
it good to reward one self with little prizes as we achieve milestones along our journey
i too am finding it hard to full see myself as others do and shopping is now time consuming as i never really know what size to buy and i start off in the plus sizes but now i am in 16 bottoms and 14 tops
i have found if i take a digital photo that really helps me how vain you are saying but for me it does help i feel the mirror gives me a total stranger looking at me yah for digital cameras and the delete button

Loosing it,
I am sure I won't recognize you next time I see you, so please don't think I'm ignoring you when I walk past. Just give me a punch in the arm and I'll know it's you.
I am just so happy and proud of you.

oops the reason I came in here is to share my NSV.
Going scuba diving tomorrow and my old wetsuit is huge, so had to buy a new one. Well I have always had to buy mens wetsuits but now..........I fit into ladies size 4, which is not size 4 as in the clothing size but it is petite, OMG I can not believe it, I can not wait to get in the water tomorrow, never been petite before, lmao
***does a VERY happy dance****

Well done everyone on some great achievements. Sometimes it's just the small things that make you feel normal and as though you've really made progress.
Sooooooooooo . . . . . . . . I'll just start by saying "who's a big sook then?"
I achieved a weight loss goal today (not the final one unfortunately), but decided to go shopping for some new clothes. Desperately needed I can tell you. Anyway, I went in to Autograph and had a browse around, picked up a few items, and made my way through them. I put on a nice size 18 jacket, and went to do it up, but it overlapped. So I figured I must have picked up a 20. No - not so. I then tried the 16, and it also was too big. 16 - too big - for me?
Upshot - I ended up with a couple 18's, and a couple 16's in various items. But . . . . . when I tried the 18's and found some too big, I just started crying, and almost couldn't stop.
Yeah - I know - big big sook. 12 months ago I could hardly get a 26 to fit. I'm really having trouble coming to terms with who looks back at me in the mirror. |
