| Hi all, I went shopping recently with my mum and we were in Katies (for her!). Mum told me to try on a suit for work and I laughed at her and said there was no way it would fit. She convinced me to try one on and lo and behold... It fitted perfectly!! Now I have been banded 4 months and am still hanging steady trying to get the fill sorted (not gaining but not losing much either) and have only lost about 10kg and I know Katies have recently introduced a new biggest size but still, it was a 'normal' people store and the darn thing fitted!!! I get to count it as a NSV!! Another fill tomorrow so hopefully some restriction will kickstart this journey again... All the best to everyone, Molly |

| I have had another comment on my weight loss! A friend i haven't seen in a few months saw me and said, Wow! you look like you have lost heaps of weight! | Almost a year ago I bought a new outfit. Bought in a normal clothes shop. Skirt size 16 and top size L. I was too big for them at the time. Today I fit into them for the first time. I am able to zip up the skirt and sit with it comfortably. WHOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! |

| hey everyone today I went for an hour bike ride...minus the 10 mins I spent sprawled out under a tree hyperventilating. I used muscles I didnt even know I had and the seats given me the sorest a$$ ever...but hey I SURVIVED YAY!!! So now Ive prooved I can walk,skate and ride(badly)NEXT.... Running ooooooohhhhhhhhhh :) |

| I had a fantastic NSV on the weekend. I have a dress at home that is a size 18 that I have never ever fitted in to (at the lightest I can remember being in the last decade....which is 7 kilos heavier than I currently am, I was still a size 20 on top). 6 weeks ago I tried on the dress and it would only zip about halfway up my back. On Sunday that sucker did straight up without any trying!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!! |

| Today at Contours(similer to Curves) i touched my toes for the first time in years with straight legs, that was standing up, then i tried it sitting down and WOW i can do that too. They probably thought i was a bit nuts but i had a huge smile on my face when i left. Coleen Dr D Oct 05 133/88/85 |

| Hi There is a little story to this before I get to the good bit so bare with me. Twenty months ago I was the support for my friend and her husband at the birth of their child, so when I got the call that everything was happening I headed to the hospital to meet them. As I asked the nurse if I could head up to maternity she asked me if was I having contractions. I was very embarrassed. Soooo.... last night I went to the Support Group meeting at Knox Hospital and accidentally went into the prenatal class only to be told "I'm sorry you must be in the wrong room" Yaaahhhh. | I just love reading all your inspirational stories....lifts my spirit Well done everyone! OMG, OMG, OMG!....( I've got a bit of boasting to do! ) I've been champing at the bit to tell my NSV! I have been waiting and waiting and WAITING for a compliment from somebody....ANYBODY on my weight-loss ( apart from those that know of my band or a stray drunk guy at the Casino at 3am in the morning!... LOL Linda!) WELL FINALLY IT HAPPENED!! Mind you it took 5 months to the day and nearly 23kgs lost on my behalf! ...AND get this it came from one of my friend's husbands....Yes a guy! We were at a BBQ yesterday ( long weekend here in WA ) and he lent down towards me as he walked past and rather nonchalantly said "You're lookin' good!" Then today while out shopping ...for some new size 16 clothes!!!! I saw an old friend I haven't seen for a while and she looked at me rather stunned and said "WOW you're shrinking away there!...what are you doing?" Oh life's good....no...it's GREAT! vikki |
