I just bought my first pair of jeans in 20+ years. I got them from Just Jeans and they weren't the largest size they do either even though that's what I asked for when I plucked up the courage to go in after hovering around outside for several minutes!!!!

I caught up with my daughter who I hadnt seen for a couple of weeks. Normally I wear the longer style top/jacket over pants. This day I wore a jumper out of my shop which actually finished just below my chest (one of these new styles) even though I kept trying to pull it down as I'm not used to it and a longer style cami.
My daughter said to me..gee mum you are looking really skinny, stop wearing them baggy long tops you look fantastic in that top :-)
it made me smile :-) |

That is a fantastic loss for such a short time and will give you a head start on your journey. Any you lose is a bonus and makes for a safer operation so well done and all the very best for your op on 11th August. Keep us informed.

runs back in fast forgot to add my nsv rofl
my waist measurement is now down to 68cm which for me is thrilling i was stuck so long on 80cm but havent done measurement for 3 mths so im assuming the change is now because im living an extremely active life whereas in sydney except for doing my usual daily exercises my days were very quiet
so im doing a happy dance

i can very much relate to feeling the cold big time rofl
when i was 130kgs i was always hot as many obese people are and even when i visited my folks in tassie in the cold months i still wore t-shirts rofl
well now its very different and im freezing all of the time since relocating 2 months ago im constantly cold and i had actually forgotten how cold n miserable it is down south in tassie rofl
i find it hard to get comfortable and no shops here at all with clothing as its a tinly country town my feet are frozen each n every day i had hoped to get in a trip to hobart to buy a good pair of ugg boots but it just hasnt been possible so brrrr
funny how things like this didnt bother some of us before
but im not complaining really....well yes i am but not about being small hehehehe just about freezing to death hehee
well done on all the great nsv's being added they are good to read

It's not really an NSV more like an NSP - Non Scale Problem! When I joined Weight Watchers the last time, my lovely leader told me that when I lost the weight I would really notice the cold. I never in my wildest dreams thought I could lose that much weight, especially as I am now in menopause and am constantly hot or sweating.
But it is true!!! I am so cold all the time now. I wear layers of jumpers and t-shirts but never seem to get warm. Who would have thought 30kg could make such a difference.
It is an NSP - but a good one!!!!

I Love shopping in City Chic, When i first started there after banding, i was in the XL Size, and it was tight tight, i went in there last week to look for a dress for a wedding, and tried on a L, the girl there said she thinks i need the medium as this one too big, they had none there so i had to layby it, and get it a week before the wedding (4 weeks time) if they get a medium in by then she will swap it for me. $130 for the dress, i just hope it still fits in december for brothers 30th!!

I had an usual compliment today,I took some food over for my hubby and his mates as their putting up a shed on a rural block and a friends mum said,"your looking smaller" I made a reference to how my clothes are way too big and she said "yeah your somewhere in between now"...Hmmmm well i'm taking that as a positive comment, on not slim but i'm not as big as I was.
Still, I was wearing farm clothes a beanie and rossi boots, not exactly a flattering outfit...lol

Dietician walked past me in waiting room and asked the receptionist where I was. The dietician explained that she didn't think I was the lapband patient (even though I was the only person sitting in the waiting room).
Not too shabby, I say :) Good NSV.

I saw the security guard at my ex's work today, she asked why she hadn't seen me for soo long, i explained what happened with me and ex, where he is now etc, and she was shocked! She said i looked soo alive and looking great! I also had to buy a new pair of jeans today a size smaller, as these ones are already falling down! Mate told me i will be fitting into her clothes soon! I like that idea cos then wont have to buy them all the time lol.

Kazza - that is FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC!!! well done!!! What a great effort!!
I'm off to the V8's today and for the first time ever I will be wearing a ladies race team shirt. Previously I would be wearing a XXL Mens! Only something very minor but it is fairly significant to me!!!
Cheers
