| Chezza, I actually laughed about the bra thing so no need for any apology. I'm more anxious about waiting than anything else, I am looking forward to the surgery. I get anxious when I want things, and can pretty much have mini panic attacks because of things. I told a few people at work I was getting banding done, and everyone is so supportive and they all want to know about it. Maybe because I'm so excited about it, like a kid in a candy store (maybe the wrong phrase to use) D |

| three months since my op. i lost 10 kilos. Ive put FOUR kilos back on in the past four WEEKS. I dont have good restriction anymore and need another fill, but regardless, im eating a heck of a lot less than i was before the op. How can i put on 4 kilos so quickly while eating less? i reaalllyyy dont get this. I am eating healthy btw, and on vitamin tabs. ~ Lilly . |

| oh that's right, try not to be panic stricken, it's a great thing youre doing, anyway, we're all here for support. we all went through the same thing. Jasons a very nice surgeon....very supportive. Im off to see jason tomorrow for a fill and my hubby is coming with me....DONT ASK lol... |

| Damn waiting...I hate waiting, I hate sitting around when im expecting something/someone, or have somewhere to go... Greg, ill be sure to say hi... Now that I know I have to wait, I can feel the panic coming. What's the earliest time someone got banded with Jason, maybe I can beg, to get in first before I pass out from anxiety. |

| Well D - Jason is the wait King.... So I know you hate waiting, but this is another skill Jason will teach you.. I was done at this Hospital - the Nurses were all very very cute and great to deal with.... (Say hi to Nurse Samantha from me... :-0) One good point, there is a TV in your room but there is only so much day time TV one can take!!!! G |

| Greg my op is next week on Tuesday...Just wanted to get myself ready. I have a 1130 appointment, so potentially I may not get seen until 430pm? What a long wait...by that time I may change my mind about the banding (just kidding) Chezza, thanks for the list, there are a few things I may need to give a miss and that the bra thing...since i'm male. Anyone get banded at the Western Private? What are the staff like? I been in there for sleep study, and the sleep study staff are pretty good, just not sure about the rest. Maybe I should bring in my portable dvd player, I hope Jason doesn't make me wait..one of the things I hate most is waiting..im impatient could be partially due to anxiety. D |

| I wasn't banded by Jason so the process on the day may be different. If I were you I would call Jason's rooms they must be able to give you a time to present at the hospital. Here is a list that is on one of the threads. All of your prescription medicines in their original packaging. Any X-rays or test results from pre-op banding consultations. CPAP machine and mask if you use one. TED stockings Lip balm. Ear plugs (hospital staff can be very noisy). Own soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner Moisturiser Lip Balm Tissues Hair brush or comb. Toothpaste, tooth brush. Cotton undies. Warm bed socks Sports top/bra or bra with no wire. Nighties. Loose clothes for the trip home. Slip on shoes. Shower thongs Ipod/mp3 player. A book or magazine. Glasses (spectacles)& glasses case Wallet. Pillow- extra comfort and drive home. Mobile phone and charger Camera for those attractive gown shots Chezza |

| Hey D - Good Luck tomorrow... If you ring the hospital, they will tell you what time to come in - trust me with this, bring a good book - you can weight up to 5+hours before you see Jason in his scrubs. Take comfortable cloths, all the toiletry stuff and any medication you are on... So you go in, they take you to your bed - the cute nurses will give you stuff to get changed into - you will see the bloke who will put you under and you will now weight for all the action to begin (this is where the good book comes into action) Jason will see you before hand, and normally in the morning after... Let me know how you go.. G |

| G I know that it seems to be dragging too long but I don't get close appointments, my appointments have been 4 weeks each time so when I went the last time I had not been able to catch up with beena as she went to Qld and went she got back we couldn't catch up by then I had my appointment and now I am not due till next week, but as I said he will be returned next week at the latest. I just want to point out G that I understand that you want him back to Jason and that you bought him so you might be worried that he is going to get lost somehow or that I might even take him for myself not that any of that would happen, but if it will make you happy I will get him delivered by the end of this week, mollee mollee |

| Mollee Sorry you have taken offense - the point I meant to make that I brought this on behalf of our group and presented it to Jason - I appreciate the fact everyone wants to put their own touch to it as an act of gratitude to Jason for changing our lives... | G The reason I have not taken sj back to him yet as my appointment is not till next week, She offered to make his cape as we can't make a suit for him as he is moulded and you can't put clothes on him and I am sorry I forgot him Greg but I rushed out the door as my son was home sick and I was going to bring him but then my partner came home so I could leave him at home so then I just rushed out and let SJ on the table near the front door. I am not worrying about being judged I tried to see if could paint some stripes on him but I don't have a steady hand to do it neatly, sorry if I have upset you or annoyed didn't mean to but I have taken offence to your tone in your post. mollee |
