| Hey geminibabeau, Great question i have been wondering the same thing. I am getting banded on feb 11 and i am self funded. I have been thinking of joining a fund for those just incase emergencies to do with the band and other health issues too. So i look forward to reading your replies. Also can any one reccomend a good health fund to join? Any ideas? Cheers Tina. |

| fills aren't covered by health fund only medicare. I would ring them and check as you will probably have to wait the waiting period for anything band related as it is pre existing. Linda |

| Hi there, just a question. Im going to get banded in the next couple of months, self funded. I have just joined a health fund, so my question is once my 12 month waiting period is up can I start using it for anything to do with the banding? ie, fills or god forbid further surgeries for slippage etc? |
