| Forgot to add - I am getting really nervous. I have a dietitian appointment,hospital appointment and also the anesthethic appoinment all booked for the 26th of August. |

| Hi again lilac, I also have approval from APRA for funds release im with Health Super and have spoken on phone and they say once I get letter from apra alls I need to do is send off with witness ID from police and should have it within the week. I do hope yours gets sorted and am interested in what problems could arise. Thanks Trish BTW you can call me darlin for short |

| Hi everyone, Thanks for the warm welcome. tanyamd70 - I looked into lapbanding a year ago too.So this is a long time coming.My surgeon wants me to do 3 weeks on opti.I am both excited and nervous depending on the day. darlinfatfaceisleavingthi s - Fingers crossed for you,so you can join us in September. newchancejourney - Wow September 3,it will be here before you know it.Lucky you not having to do opti. bandedbeck - You are a champion for doing 7 weeks on opti.Like I said earlier, I was supposed to only do opti for 3 weeks but once I got the go ahead from APRA I was too excited so started opti.Then had some issues with the superannuation company so it has taken longer than I thought. porcelina85 - Another lucky one who doesn't have to do opti.Good luck for 11th September. |

| Well done with your 5 weeks on Opti, I had to do 6 weeks before my op last September, but my op was postponed a week and I ended up doing 7 weeks. Keep at it, it's so worth it in the end!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Hi Lilac, I am being banded on the 14th Sept. I don't start Opti for another week, my surgeon only requires 2 weeks strictly on no Carbs. I can't believe my Op date is nearly here, I decided to do this more than a year ago. Are you getting excited/nervous? Sounds like you have done very well on Opti, congratulations. Tanya |
