| Hello everyone. After the success of the qld get together there will be a Melbourne Get together in February 2010.Dates are Friday 19th till sunday 21st February. Everyone from everywhere are welcome to attend.. All 3 days will be filled with fun and exciting group outings etc. An itinerary and prices for accomodation will be available soon. | Hi I was just seeing if I might be able to came , the only problem is I am a shift worker and have no idea what shift i'll be on . how much notice do you need to let you now if I can come or not. I live in melbourne so I won't need accommodation. |

| I would think this would have been one of the hardest jobs in the world to to co-ordinate. and I take my hat off to Mel, who has done it, with great success, and any one who is going to attempt it. I haven't been to Melbourne before its always been on the to do list. I am sure you will all have a blast. Mary x |

| Jan and I had a meeting about the meetup in Feb and we have made some very exciting plans that will be revealed as soon as all the bookings are confirmed..It will be a fully packed weekend with lots of activities so make sure you have some comfy shoes and a late flight out sunday .lol .. There will be opportunities that you can also meet up with family or friends from melbourne if you want to. | Huddydi, You don't have to wait for the big meetup in February to meet other bandits. There are groups all over Melbourne who have gatherings which you would be more than welcome at. What part of Melbourne are you from? There are regular meetups in Werribee, Knox, Berwick, Bayside, Epping & maybe even more. Through this forum I have made many banded friends and often catch up for a coffee, one to one. Post here and we'll point you in the right direction. There's nothing like a little extra support from those who really understand weight and banding issues. Cheers, Jan |
