| Thanks for all the best wishes, July banders. I'm to be at Hollywood Hospital at 7.00am tomorrow. Op starts at 9.00am [WA time of course]. Dr Watson says it will take about an hour and an hour after that he wants me up and walking a bit! It's come around soooo fast! I'll give you all the low-down on how it went as soon as I come home. | hi everyone, wow It is finally July, good luck to everyone scheduled for this week, looking forward to following everyones journey. Starting to get a mixture of excitment and nervousness as I tick of the days in my diary, just over 2 weeks to go, opti is going ok, I dont have a problem with it and have lost 13 kgs ( 2nd time on opti due to cancelled surgery). take care new bandits! | Morning all - I had one of my evil bad migraines yesterday (I get a rare form of migraine - they are a migraines evil cousin.)The migraine seems to be going thank goodness as they can last up to 5 days. This is one of the reasons why I am getting banded - apparently they have found a possible link between obesity and migraines. I will try anything to help me. If it doesnt help at least the band will help me loose weight and deal with all the other things we have to put up with - you know, sleep apnoea, oedema, diabetes, heat attack, fitting into chairs etc etc soon2bbandedjuly09 - yeh - me too - as well as feeling nervous and excited I also feel a bit sad too. Maybe it is because on this Opti diet I do not have food to make me feel better? Anybody else feel the same and have any theories as to why? Lizzy |

| Hi Deb here and i am being banded July 6 at ashfield, NSW and am scared but excited. Also having GB out and am simply scared of the anesthetic as i havent had an operation in about 22 years. I am over the Optifast diet but funnily enough getting used to eating nothing but vegeies and the gross shakes Wish me luck, Deb :-) |

| Hi all, I am curious to know how everyone is going with their pre op diets?? I am finding it hard and have broken it a few times, though I am mostly sticking to it and have lost 3kg in the last week. I have one week to go and hope I can lose that much again. Should I have lost much more than that? Howmuch does it matter that I have broken my diet a couple if times?? |

| Hi Impea, I am getting banded on the 30th July and like you everytime I think about it I get butterflies in the stomach. If you want to add your surgery date(this is how I did it) Highlight the surgery dates and cut and then reply to this message and paste the dates onto Your message then add your date.
