Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Hi Kathy, thanks for that.

I can drink and I dont get excess saliva (only when PB'ing)

I had a call from Sue (Dr Ds Receptionist) and she said that he is booked but he could squeeze me in, problem is I cant leave work) She said if its still this bad over the weekend, call back on Monday and they will fit me in after work. My gut feeling (pardon the pun) is that things will settle soon as my weight drops (1.8kg since last Monday)

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Thanks to those who answered - I know in my case it is not overfill as I am due to see Dr C today, and I only have 3mls in a 10mk band and am looking for a fill. This just came out of nowhere, and took over an hour and a half for me to be able to keep anything down. If I PB I normally get it out and can get on with it, but not this time. Oh well - seems like we live and learn. Ta all. K

krikkit,
I was like that when i had an overfill but at night i felt like i was drowning in my own saliva, if you are the same best to go back and see him, but i must admit most times i couldn't even get liquid down either that was the worring part. You should do what you think is right to have your own peace of mind

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Hi guys, I am the same with the PB -ing, sometimes im ok, sometimes not. I called Dr D's office yesterday to see if I can come in for an fill removal - as I cant keep down anything at the moment apart from liquids. Then, last night we had roast beef and steamed veg for dinner, and it all went down!?? - So, I have no idea what to do now!

Joke of the Day

Billy was at school this morning and the teacher asked all the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came out, fireman, policeman, salesman, chippy, captain of industry etc, but

Billy was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his father.

"My father is an exotic dancer in a gay club and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes if the offer is really good, he'll go out with a man, rent a cheap hotel room and let them sleep with him."

The teacher quickly set the other children some work and took little Billy aside to ask him if that was really true.

"No" said Billy, "He plays rugby for England but I was just too embarrassed to say."

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
K,

It happened to me tonight...I am still burping and I have a very uncomfortable feeling in the middle of my stomoch. I had mince and lentils with garlic, onions tinned tomatoes and chilli. I often have this and this the first time it has affected me like this. The only other food that does it to me from time to time is yogurt. It's funny how some days, food goes down really easy and next day...problems.

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Hi all - thank's Brian for the update from Miss V.
I have a question for those who may know. I have had a problem with PB-ing, but thought I had it licked as apart from one instance with a poached egg and the toasted mu ffin, I have been getting on without an episode. But tonight, I cut the end off the meatloaf I had cooked, it was one with a crumbed coating, so I just ate the meaty bit and left the crusty bit. It was really soft and chewed to mush, yet for the next hour and a half I have been bringing it and slime up. I was so hungry, that when the warm drink didn't help, (and I was going to say I am ashamed about this, but if I was I wouldn't be posting!!!) I ate my dinner anyway knowing I was going to be loosing it in the next few minutes!! I seem to be OK now, but does anybody have any idea's or have experienced anything simialr??

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Update from the "Boss"

"Yes ...the count down begins as tomorrow night we board the plane for home! :( ...rather sad really as it has been just the best holiday. Not quite up there with Europe...but dam fine I must say!
Tomorrow I hit some steps here in Santa Monica. Sam's told me where to find them as she is off to boot camp at 5.30am so won't be joining me! Apparently there are a set of wooden ones and not far from them a set of concrete ones. Not sure how many steps are in them but I might count them to compare. I haven't done much in the way of exercise of late. I ran along "the strip" in Las Vegas once. But it was just too hot and I didnt feel safe at night...which was still hot might I add!
Well I dont know if we will get to see Hollywood now...darn it! I just don't think we'll have the time. However I did see the 'Hollywood' sign yesterday in the yonder distance and LA haze.
What we might do is Venice beach, as its not all that far from here. Besides there's a good perv factor attached to that little exercise LOL! Well I really should check out the locals so I can compare them to those on JL back home.

Well I best get off here.
The count down begins!
Vikki"

Hi everyone,

Been enjoying the jokes and chats going on. Haven't been able to get to JL or any coffees as work has been very busy again.

Anyone heard from Vikki? When is she due back?

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Joke of the Day

Little Tony was staying with his grandmother for a
few days.

He'd been playing outside with the other kids for a while when he came into the
house and asked her, "Grandma, what is that called
when two people are sleeping in the same room and one is on top of the other?"

She was a little taken aback, but decided to tell
him the truth.
"It's called sexual intercourse, darling."

Little Tony just said, "Oh, OK" and went back
outside to talk and play with the other kids.
A few minutes later he came back in and said angrily,
"Grandma, it is not called sexual intercourse! It's called Bunk Beds!"

"And Jimmy's Mom wants to talk to you!!
