| Joke of the Day 'Twas the day after Christmas and all through the house Children sat slack-jawed, bored on the couch. Wrappings and toys littered the floor, An incredible mess that I did abhor. With Mom in her robe and I in my jeans, We waded in to get the place clean. When suddenly the doorbell: it started to clatter, I sprang to the Security-View to check out the matter. The new-fallen snow, now blackened with soot, Was trampled and icy and treacherous to foot. But suddenly in view, did I gasp and pant: An unhappy bill collector and eight tiny accountants. The door flew open and in they came, Stern-looking men with bills in my name. On Discover, on Visa, on American Express, On Mastercard too, I sadly confess, Right to my limits, then beyond my net worth, Over the top I had charged, in a frenzy of mirth. The black-suited men, so somber, so strict, I wondered why me that they had first picked. They stared at me with a look I couldn't miss, That said "Buddy, when are you for paying for this?" I shrugged my shoulders, but then I grew bolder, Went to the cabinet and pulled out a folder. "As you can see," I said with a smile, "It's bankruptcy that I'll have to file!" And with a swoop of my arm, my middle digit extended I threw the bills in the fire: the matter had ended. The scent of burnt ash came to my nose, As up the chimney my credit-worthiness rose. Without another word they turned and walked out, Got into their limos, but one gave a shout: "You may think that's the answer to all of your fears, But it's nothing you'll charge for at least seven years! |

| well Christmas day has been and gone. Hope everyone had a great day. I have been banded for 14 days (10/12) so today should have been mushies but the ham looked so nice so I had to have a piece. By the time I had chewed it and half a curried egg to death everyone else was onto sweets.So then I HAD to have a scoop of icecream!! I looked at the leftovers at tea time and didn't have any.I feel like I have been eating all day. Still nothing stuck so hopefully I have got away with it but back to mushies tommorrow. Start work every day this week at 7.15am till 5pm or later so protein shakes will be the order of the day and then mushies for a late tea. So far,I have been very careful to have my 100 mls every three hours plus the endless water sipping and up to now I have lost 10kgs and I haven't been hungry . I still have my 2 cups of white coffee a day (with sugar!!). How easy it it to stretch the pouch and does it shrink back ok? And how do you know that it is stretched? Today has been the first day that i have "eaten". Shared a slice of bacon with my 2yr old grandson for breakfast, a rum ball for morning tea,ham and egg and icecream for lunch and it is now nearly 11pm and I am still full.No real pain just feel uncomfortably full. |

| Gee Brian, it must be good wine...LOL. It reminds of of something from a previous job. In another life as a banker there were account holders named; Mee Chew Kok and Fatt Long Kok Honest...not making it up...and I apologise if I've told any of this at a GT... | Suzy, congratulations...4 days...gosh that puts a hiccup or two into xmas...lucky you, you won't be putting on weight this year LOL. And yes you will be able to eat your favourite foods down the track, just small bits and you will be satisfied with smaller servings.... Meet you in the new year hopefully. Jen |

| Hi Cassandra, and all who are reading the boards. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL. I have been DONE DONE DONE....... and I feel like it as well, but its all for the good of my body, the chassis/ee that carries my soul. I must read the past boards to see if anyone feels like me at this time, I am 4days after the opp. I must say though I am craving Christmas Cake with marzipan...... oh god I am dribbling. Nice drop of rose and with the heat am feeling the effects lol well at least that is my story and I am sticking to it!! Might have to have a wee granny nap to recover lol. | Dear friends and Gazza LOL....only kidding. I see my family at xmas, but talk to you guys for most days of the year, so it is ultra important that I pop in and wish you all A VERY HAPPY XMAS....and AN EVEN BETTER NEW YEAR.....c u lighter in 2008.
