| So, I went to see Dr Dolan today and he booked me in for my surgery... The date is the 11th of December!!!! O.O It seems so scary that I will be banded in a little over two weeks!! | Hi Margot, yes its been a very busy time. In the last 6 weeks I've had 2 weddings (brother & daughter) 50th birthday (hubby) 70th birthday (sil father) 50th wedding anniversay (family) 2 other birthdays. and 2 coming up Dr D was very happy with my weight loss and said no more fills for me and that he was out of a job now as i'm only 2.8kg off goal, so he only wants to see my once a year now!! whoohooo no more fills. | 4kgs in 2 days thats a lot it has been a big year for you. You are near to goal aren't you? Are you going to have a fill? I think I will wait till after Christmas altho I am going VERY slowly. | I was brave last Friday. I bought new scales...as my others were varying 4-5kilos...from day to day...so I have faced reality, and have new ones that meausure as low as 50grams...and have embraced a heavier weight and have committed to use my new tool to help my brain change gear to lose some blubber. The scales are Weight Watchers..on special at Target for $34.95, a really good buy and they claim to have a lifetime warranty. I hope you are all well. Have a great week. |

| So - peoples are out there enjoying life, family, friends and this lovely end of spring weather. We were down at South Beach today and late in the arvo a tribal drumming group were down there and for a donatioin you can join in. It eas great. K |

| Hi All! I just wanted to share some GREAT news, I joined Curves Gym in Balcatta about 2 weeks after my banding (sep 5th) although I didnt actually go and do a workout for about a month after joining. When I did start going I could barely do one circut (more about that in a sec) but I kept going working up to the two that your supposed to do. WHICH I NOW CAN!!!!!! I have lost 22cm all round and 2.5 kilos and I'm starting to feel addicted. I went four times last week and so far have have been 5 times this week. At Balcatta they also have what they call smart curves, basically it's a key tag that fits into every machine ( there is no treadmill by the way) and keeps track of your workout. When you first get it you and the trainer set the tag to your abilities so if your going to slow the machine will let you know and at the end of the workout you tag into a computer and it will tell youhow your performance was, it also recalculates after every 4 workouts to see if you need to be put up a level!!!! On another note Homeart have got electric food steamers for $20 on sale till christmas (OMG not far away now) They are perfect for bandits as they are not too big but big enough.
