Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Hi all - Hubby is out of surgery and I am told all went well but I won't really know till tomorrow when I see him and get to talk to the Dr. He was very groggy this evening after coming back from theatre and finally on a ward after being in Emergency since last night. Have youngest son's 1st Trampolining comp tomorrow, so won't see Hubby till afternoon.

How awful K, you must have been worried sick. I'm glad to hear the injuries weren't more serious. Take care.

K Hope all is ok with hubby and daughter. My thoughts are with you all.

krikkit9 - I loved your joke couldn't stop laughing, 1st my hubby thought there was something wrong with me and came dashing in from outside then realised that I was just laughing so hard so I gave him a look at the joke and he had a good laugh too. That Joke made my day.

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Hi everyone - haven't had achance to read through and catch up - have been a bit crazy since 4.30 las night when Hubby and 10yr old daughter came off his motorbike. A car entered the round-about they were traversing (luckily only about 20kph) even tho the car driver could not see past the truck on his right and Hubby braked to not hit him and the bike slid out from under them.
Daughter escaped a little shaken and with a grazed knee and a small s *** e on hir inner wrist, Hubby took the brunt of it and was more concerned the Daughter was not hurt. He was pinned under the bike until some other people could move the bike off hime and then help him off the road, he took a lot of bark off the side of his leg and arm, but he was having trouble walking, turns out he has a spiral break of the fibula about an inch or so above the ankle, He was transferred to Freo to see an Orthopedic Surgeon and is - as we speak - in theatre having the break turned back and put into place with screws/pins and a plate.
So, as you can imagine, it has been a hell of a 24 hours, but Thank GOd he and daughter were not injured any more than they were. I think someone was looking out for them as the policemen that were there were saying that they always hate being called to motorbike accidents as it is usually always BAD. The positive is I haven't been hungry and when I did think I should eat somethingh, couldn;t eat much anyway - LOL gotta be an upside in everything.

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
*******joke*********

I've got 2 dogs. I bought a large bag of Meaty Bites at Big W and was standing in line at the check-out.

A woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Meaty Bites Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 25 kgs before I woke in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IV's in both arms.
I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Meaty Bites and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry & that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again.

I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by now enthralled with my story, particularly a guy who was behind her.

Horrified, she asked if I'd ended up in the hospital in that condition because I had been poisoned by the food. I told her no, it was because I'd been sitting in the middle of the road licking my d*ck and a car hit me.

I thought one guy was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard as he staggered out the door.

Stupid b*tch...why else would I buy dog food??

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Joke of the Day

John had spent a week visiting with his brother Pete and Pete’s family. They had accompanied John to the airport for his flight back home. After verifying his seat number, John rejoined Pete and the kids and explained he’d have to wait an additional two hours.

“Why do you have to wait?”

“My plane’s been grounded.”

“Grounded?” one of Pete’s kids said puzzled. “I didn’t know planes had parents.”

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Yes Shona we are, the weight creeps on over time and we can't expect it to disappear overnight.......even though we wish it would.

I'm feeling really bloated at the moment, having no fill, no restriction and not able to do any exercise. I'm also bored outta my brain! LOL

That would be really great if you went for your cert IV, I would help you all I could (if you wanted me too :O) In one part of it you have to log ten training session that you give to other people....you could train me a couple of times!

Night all

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Thanks Marion,

Knowing that you have got there and I am going ok does help. My second fill should help too. I am looking at (when I have done another 16 kilos off to join the AFI and get my Cert IV like you. That is my aim anyway. I must however learn to be more patient at losing weight. We cuddlies are prone to impatience.

Re:DR KEVIN DOLAN - PERTH Reply to this message
Just found this ripper.

One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of me. I was maybe 2 1/2 years old and had just recovered from an accident. Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys. Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home.My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!' My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up. Then she says, (as only a mother would know... :) 'Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet?'

Re:Perth Get Together Reply to this message
OK LADIES get your diaries out!!

SATURDAY APRIL 12TH

Champagne brunch
my place (Butler for those who dont know) south of Geraldton
10.00 am til whenever

Wear a pretty dress if you have one and we can play ladies!!

Also going to be a clothes party - bring any clothes of good condition you no longer want so they can find a new home and maybe find some new clothes that others are giving away. Any bags and shoes no longer wanted in good condition welcome too and kids and mens clothes that some of us may require.

Bring a plate suitable for brekkie/lunch - I will supply champagne and orange juice, coffee, tea etc.

Will be lots of laughs as usual and keeping it to ladies (no kids please so we can relax and maybe dads can help out)

Also have a great book we can refer to of Trinny and Susannah re body shapes and clothes to flatter our shapes!!

I made it a Saturday so hopefully those working can make it too - I know I live a long way away but trust me it will be worth it and we will have fun!!

Sharon (email me or phone me if you dont know my address and will send it to you).

RSVP Saturday 5th April to give me ideas of numbers for food and drinks
