| Morning all - Has anyone had any news from Carol re Frank. She said she would update this morning and I haven't seen or heard anything. Am a bit worried for her. K |

| Update on Frank,,looks like it will be another long night,,he got rushed back into theatre and they are attempting a further 2 more stents... they agreed to let me actually speak to him on way in tho... said it would help him. | Who told you to see your GP? Did they say why? I've never heard of that. Do you have other medical issues that might complicate the op and therefore your GP needs to know that the op is going ahead? I'd ring them back and ask why you need to see your GP. | i woud also like to add that today i met the notorious dr dolan and you guys are all spot on as to what to expect when it was first suggested i meet with him about 1 yr ago i declined but with this seed of thought i found this thread and with the positive convesation i read daily it was all you guys here that encoraged me to go ahead and see him he did exactly what everyone discussed he started with the 2 people who had died and then tried to talk me outta doing this by telling me the gruesome facts but then proceeded to tel me it will take 18 months for appointment for surgury and by this time i was crushed i filled in the form for the banding proceedure and by the time i had gotten to the counter the appointment had already been brought forward to feb and i would be hearing from the office if there were any changes i was told it would be only 1 month after my feb date for surgury i was also told to speak to my gp and he will look after and iwas intructed to see him next week reguarding my appointment with dr d not sure why did anyone else have similar and why would we be needing to go back to referring dr??? any info is great you guys seam to know how it all works thanks |

| i have been reading this thread for a while and i kno carol you dont know me but i feel terrible for you and your family and wish you all the best luck with your partner and hope you spend your anniversery cherrishing the time spent with frank good luck |

| ty my dear dear family, thats how you are to me. Your words of encouragement helps a lot and just to know you are there for us is so good. I am feeling the weight of the world is on my shoulders just now, really not knowing which way to jump. My wonderful son wanted to come back from his holiday immediately but I think it's better they meet me along the way. I still have had no sleep and feel pretty average.I will not be online over the weekend as no computer. | Carol - really sorry to hear about Frank and hope he rallies again. Also great to hear you will be with family this weekend so take any pampering and relaxing you can manage and take deep breaths as its so easy to tense up and become sore and stressed more from not relaxing your muscles. | Hello all,, been up all night so please excuse spellinfg etc. Frank had another heart attackk yesterday , they stabilized him and took him to theatre and managed to push 2 stents thru but could not clear anymore,,does notlook great at this time,I am taking off for blood tests shortly and still going to my son.
