Well done K.....quick quick go shopping. You'll find that when you shrink you get a lil proud of tighter fitting clothes even if all of our bumps havn't gone, it does show off our new bodies.

Well, well, well.
After 4 weeks of training, I lost 0.5 of a kilo (yippee!!) but the best bit is I have lost 13cm in total!!
Yep 13 cm! I am pretty stoked about that little gem. AND, Miss M said maybe I should look at getting some tighter clothes as there is ALOT of unnecessary material in those measurements!!

Hi Sis

Thanks for the kudos...I was 79 this morning, and got on again (yeah i know i'm stupid) and it was still 79. Glad your restriction has kicked in...there is no way even tho I only have 5mls that I could eat a whole banana at once...it takes me ages, at about an inch at a time...porridge is filling too...make it a smaller portion perhaps then go back for seconds if you need it.

You know I have lost weight recently and I have stopped walking in that time (stop cringing marion and vikki), i know the exercise gives me more of an appetite, it's hard to find the balance there.

I started this out on meal replacements, for a week...TF's for lunch and brekky, and I don't know why, but with this lot of TF's I didn't feel strong cravings in between meals, like I have on opti...but it was easier than usual, that was my kick start...i now live off crackers soup, and the odd bit of fruit...and coffee and milk. I have normal food at night, but small amounts of it. I am crossing my fingers toes and everything else that I keep going, this is a really good phase for me, and they don't come easily.

Re snacking at night, I'm the same, so i have things in the fridge door, like nuts (not too many) dried fruit, and good old viva low fat crackers...so i can still have something, and often when i want a snack for no reason, i will make a cup of tea and that really helps.

Always keep some plain crackers closeby, that's what i lean on. But control the portion, and I find the Viva lights, already packed in 4 pieces is perfect for a guilt free snack.

Hi Vikki,
Still no car so sorry haven't been able to get over to visit but will as soon as it's fixed. Hope you are felling well, was amazed at how great you scar was, but to be honest i don't think i want to do that op, you are so brave.
I am planing to take master D to Bali next year and after that i am going to save to have my arms done, by the time i have the money 2-3 years i will be ready for the op. Down to my goal weight and have had it off for a year.
Hope to be able to catch up to you all soon

Hi Sis,
So proud of you finally down in the 70's that is great.

My restriction has finally kicked in, really hard to eat in the morning, struggle to eat my porriage and banana, ever had porriage an hour after its been made talk about stiff. So tell me is one serve of porriage and 1 small banana in it to much to have, i can usually only have half
good thing is all my meals i now eat very slowly, having salad for lunch and that takes at least an hour to eat.
I remember Dr D telling me i should eat really slow and it should take at least an hour or more to eat a meal, well i have always been a fast eater and have finally learnt that i can't do that anymore and so have finally slowed down and i don't have much problems anymore with being blocked. Trouble is by night i still find myself looking for junk food cause i'm bored, so tell me what you are doing to stop that cause you are now doing so well.
I am still waiting to hit the 90's.
Started exercising but just haven't done any for the last 2 weeks my body seems to be falling apart and i ache so bad from the cold weather just makes me not want to do anything.
Keep on doing what it is you doing and i look forward to catching up with you again

Hi guys, sorry havent been around for a while - been sick/busy/wedding etc.. all of the usual.

Nothing much to report - weight hasnt changed up and down about 1kg.. not a nice place to be one week 79 next week 80kg. Although, admittedly I havent been trying very hard - I am not too worried though, I finally got to try on my dress and it fits PERFECTLY! no alterations needed - just 1/2 and inch off the bottom and one pair of "chicken fillets" - infact if I lose anymore weight I will have to have alterations - which I dont want!!!!

I hope everyone is doing ok, we will be at stickys this Sunday to catch up.

Hey Felice - have you put your photos up yet?????

Welcome to the board! Keep you spirits up hon cos we all have our stories of ups and downs ;-)

The important thing is that over the next 2 years you will see a gradual decline of your weight..... and a tremendous increase in your health!! Its hard to look at it as a long term journey as we all want immediate results ( I thought Id lose 10 kg a month - how wrong I was!)but it is worth all the pain, sweat and tears :-)

Keep on reading and posting - the gang is fantastic :-)

Hi everyone..

I thought I'd pop in and say hi. Marion told me about this thread. I'm in Padbury, so I'll be keeping my eyes open for any get togethers.

I went to see Chris today and had another .5 put in my band. A couple of months ago i had to have all my fill taken out due to being sick on everything. So since I've had 4.5 and then todays fill put in I havent been sick or had that pain in the left hand side.

Now I know everyone on this thread is local...i'll keep you all posted with how i go. i was disappointed today, I put on 2 kilos. How could I have weight loss surgery and STILL put on?????????

Can you tell i'm feeling pretty down about it even though i walked from the Esplanade train station to the mount hospital in a record for me...10 minutes and at 7am!!!.

Anyway off to another medical appt.

okay does the fact I have now torn the house to bits because I can not find my keys count as exercise ?*LOL* they will be staring me in the face but I can not go out for my walk now the kids have gone back to school minus house keys. See there is a use for teens *LOL*
