Marg, I am actually a midwife, have caught plenty of almost 5kg babies in my day but NO 5kg c r a p s.

meh over-eating is in the air...! I gorged on pasta and pizza tonight. Ate til stuffed. I'm calling first thing for a fill! GRR!!! Don't want to gain this week! Maybe i should take something to clean myself out so i can lose LOL! hilarious. Sif a person can be that banked up with 5kg of cr a p!!!

okay, okay, I ve got this sorted,
right, the 5kg poo thing is definate, i did a few sessions of colonics before surgery, no wonder i dropped so much weight before hand, I am definately one of those who is full of sh- -it- explains, my verbal diahreaha (sp?)
and my over eating, I m blaming it on man trouble, heheheh, i know im right about that bit for me

im in strife, this is the second day in a row that I am hungry!
i ve eaten scrambled eggs with fetta at 8.30, then 1/2 cup oats with protien powder and yoghurt at 11.30, then broccoli with tinned tuna at 3 (a cupful), then labne withrocket and mint, a bowl of lamb shank vegie soup, and 2 yoghurt icy pops.

i better get some tea going before i eat everything else ing the house!

Hi Trace!!! I miss you lots! Your weightloss is awesome! Gives me something to aim for! Bet you are excited for your first fill! Can't believe you have lost so much without one!! Well done!

Nonny, my grumbles aren't gas pains - they are actual hunger pangs. I only get them about twice a day and generally when i have forgotten to have breakfast and all of a sudden its 12pm and my stomach is howling for food! I get gas grumblings occassionally, but they feel entirely different. I actually have decided i need another fill. I understand what people say now about feeling great restriction and then poof! one day it's gone! Mine is gone - wah!

Lol thanks for the poo advice karen!! hahaha ur a cracker! Maybe the extra weight is that (this morning it's only 600gm extra and now 1.7kg!). I remember reading once that your bowels can hold up to 5kg of waste. Cath, you're the nurse - is that true????? I probably read it in some health or diet mag - love that stuff! lol.
My dietician and i were fighting on fri arvo coz i had an afternoon appt and so, according to his figures ive only lost 100gm in 2 wks! I told him that's incorrect coz i never eat or drink usually before i see him. Anyway, he sort of just fobbed me off saying im losing in cm's so that's what really counts and eventually the scales will follow! A55! Lol got me cranky! Next time i will tell him to minus 5kg off my weight coz i need to cleanse the bowels bahahaha. That'll show him!

Anyway, im buggered today! Need my multi! *REMINDER for all - take your multi*

Marg - ignore the grumbling it's just gasses moving through your system. You'll always have it now. It doesn't mean you need more food which is a psychological hang up we all need to try and get over. (argghh)I too also out on a bit of weight. Now idea how or why but I did. It seems to be coming off though now. Maybe. Well today anyway I am finally below 119.3 which I have bounced up and down from since the second day of op.

Kascol - That's an awesome weightloss well done!

Karen - There's always up and down days it seems. Sometimes when I'm eating a couple of bites suffice and othertimes I could eat and eat and eat and I amaze myself. It's soo weird.

As for myself - well I had a mexican night here with my closest friends which was awesome. I ate a tiny little bit of everything and I am happy they know whats going on in my life. But they left me with all the left overs! Lucky there are two other people here to help eat them.

Was sooo good to eat cornbread though - I haven't eaten any bread at all since the op so it was nice.

I hope you are all well!

Hello lovely Girls,

Just popping in to say hi. Just had a quick read through and you are all going really well. This is such an encouragement!! I had felt like I was just stagnant this week and have been eating what seems like loads, but have still managed to let another kg go. Am very pleased with that!! Am really hungry and have another week till the fill, but I guess as long as I keep going like this all is good!! Still need to get going with the exercise more. Saw on the tv that we should exercise 5 hours before sleeping - figured it out to be about the time the kids get off the bus - so .... decided to walk to meet them everyday it wasnt raining.....wouldnt you know it....it rained everyday!!! Cant complain though... drought and all that!!!!


I'd love to come along to the dandaversary if it is in
Melb next year.

Keep up the good work everyone..Special "Hi" to Marg and Cath :)

lol well it went a little like... half a rockmelon, followed by hmm what now? so then followed by 4 rice crackers. I'm stuffed and trying to finish the last 3 glasses to hit my 2L for the day.

Now i've put on 2.7kg since Fri and i have not been eating heaps and my cals are under 1000 per day. What's up with that? And it's not TTOTM so im not sure why i would be retaining fluid. HELP!!! I'm a daily weigher and usually lose 100-200gm per day. Any suggestions anyone?

i am so hungry today!
well not now since i ve hjusteaten a heap, mi could nt believe it went down, im expecting it to come back up, not pleasant to share i know, sorry.

i did so well today- porrige with yoghurt for breakfast, tuna and rocket for lunch
and now tonight, bugger
2 bowls of home made lamb shank & vegie soup
2 cruskits with labne
and then 1/4 of avocado with a slice of smoked salmon

well, i ll rest for a while, and see

i dont know why i felt so hungry??

I am just starting week 3... and I have moved to solids already..I can eat just about everything at the moment.. Having my first fill on 19th June.. so hoping this helps a bit..
