| hey nic, you've been hiding for a few days! i'm on my night before surgery! i just had my iodine shower, interesting experience...lol because i had such a rough time with the opti, i'm not really that nervy about tomorrow, i'm just so glad to get off the shakes!! lol guess i'll see you on the other side, when i become one of the cool club!! :) |

| WooHoo Nic! You are going wonderfully! I got an extra fill but I have pretty much stopped in my tracks (better than gaining!), but it is certainly the lack of exercise and the paddle pops I am addicted to at the moment! About 100 calories each, but when you eat 3 or 4 of them over the day they add up!! My biggest spender at the moment is new shoes. I have tried doing that off ebay but I have the most ridiculous feet. Apart from now being 1 size smaller, one of my feet is a whole size bigger than the other! So, not one shoe (apart from thongs!) that fitted me when I was bugger still does! Take care and keep up the great work! Molly |

| Size 10 :O That's great Nic, sounds like you're having a blast with your clothes shopping, and you damn well deserve to! Not only are you able to reward yourself for your hard work, but sounds like you're getting some bargains to boot!! I don't belive I'll ever see the day again where I can buy something because I like it, not because it's what looks the least disgusting! The idea sure sounds appealing though! |

| oooh!! I forgot!!!! I bought a size 10 skirt on special yesterday!!! :) hehehehe! | Big week this week. Stopped walking EVERY day and what do you know, the weight loss stopped dead in it's tracks too! :) Not a big surprise, i know by now that that's how my body works. My new job is giving me some more and i have 3 shifts next week so i expect that will sort me out for excersize, so we can test to see if it's enough to loose weight. Should be. Went to an engagement party yesterday, felt fab in my size 14 dress! The hubby took photo's and it was just so sureal, i still look at them and think they must be of someone we know, a friend maybe but it's me! Very strange feeling, great but strange. :) My little boy starts Kindy this year, tomorrow in fact. I'm sure he'll be fine, but will I? :) Grabbing all my clothes for the next 12 months of ebay, saving an absoloute Motza!!! So far i have about 2,000 dollars (retail) worth of clothing for the next 12 months for 300 dollars. About 50% of it is brand new with tags. I have never had so many clothes in my life, i had bring another wardrobe in from another room. :) So, all good at the moment.Nothing much else to report. Nic |

| hey jodie, i was 135kgs approx when i gave birth to my son in a public hospital (it was in sydney, but they are pretty much the same). i never had one issue with the public system, in fact i loved it, they were great! i can't speak for you, but i would go through public, whatever gives you more time with bub would be worth any kind of sacrifice.... i checked the scales today nic, i am down to 142.7....thats nearly 5kgs this week, not bad eh??!!!! |

| Jodie the only thing i can help you with re: pregnancy stuff is c-sections. I know for a fact that if you go through your gp to have your baby (public) they will only do a c-section in case of emergency. If you go to an OB or OBGYN (private) you can have an elective c-section at will. Nic |

| I need advise from anyone that can help. I have to make a decission this week. Do I go Private of Public for my pregnancy and birth? As I am still 112.7kg. I have been told that I would not get good care public because I am bigger. However I would prefer to go public so the baby bonus would give me more time off with baby rather then pay for medical. As it would go off morgage. It would allow me to have a further few months off. I would welcome any advise. Is there anything I should know being a bigger lady having a baby. PLEASE ANYONE HELP. HOPE YOU DONT MIND ME ASKING NIC ON YOUR THREAD. I KNOW EVERYONE IS LOVELY AND HELPFULL THAT COME HERE. JODIE |

| Hi Nic, Just touching Base all is well so far on the pregnancy home base. I am 8 Weeks pregnant. I have not put on much I was 111.7kg 4 weeks ago. I am 112.7 now. I being carefull watching what I eat. However with the band out drained I can eat more but after a year I can tell you that my head must be finally re-trained to not over eat. So the doctor said I probably wont put on that much weight. Hopefully. I am now going back up through the cloths again. Lucky I did not get rid of them. Oh saw the heat beat. All is well. Jodie |
