Well, it's two weeks and one day before our night away for our anniversary and that size 12 little black dress sure as hell had better fit me. Well it fits but not nicely so it's excersize every day until the 14th!!! eeeekkk. nothing like a bit of pressure hey? To be honest, it's the best way for me to get my butt moving if i'm under a deadline. :)

| Yeah, that's what i said to my hubby Doreen but he doesn't get it. I said "almost" and he said "almost my butt, you're a 12!" I said "you can't be a 12 when your bottom 1/2 is a 14!". :)hehehehehe |

Went to my bestest friends house today for morning tea and another lady who we know who was there and she said the sentence i've dreamed off all my adult life! "What are you, a 12 now?" hehehehehehehe. I could here that from every person, 20 times a day for a week and i wouldn't get sick of it. I had to say, no 12 top and 14 bottom but it was GREAT to hear. Takes away any disapointment over not loosing any weight. :) Noice.

hehehehe:) never mind pet, i don't know of anyone who hasn't had their "last meal<s>" :). I think it's actually not harmful. The silly thing is that in your head you know you'll still be able to eat what you eat now just not the amount and when you get there you won't often miss it. :)
You're so right about a mini recharge. You really can't give everything to everyone unless you have something left to give and if you're completely worn down................
We are both REALLY looking forward to it. We're only going away overnight, we have a high maintenance 4 year old who will completely wear his grandparents out so we want to be invited back next time for babysitting. :) We're going from saturday morning, i'll get my hair done first, then we'll drop the little man off at Nana and Grandad's, then we'll check in, enjoy a chocolate high tea for two in our rose petal strewn, candle lit bubble bath, have a nap before dinner and then enjoy a GORGEOUS dinner at Siggi's. The next day after brekkie we will go for yum cha and then the movies and in the early evening on sunday we'll take dinner and thank you flowers back to nana and grandad and we'll all enjoy tea together. It will be great. You will keep us updated on everything with you yes? How you're going on optifast etc.....?
I had the tight band last winter so it wasn't a surprise. I had just forgotten how much NOT fun it is. :) oh well, i make up for it in the afternoon. :)
Well, i have a 4 year old to go and swing with and jump on the trampoline with. Byeeeeeee....boing....boi ng......boing.......

I'm starting my preop optifast in 2.5 weeks time (Yes, I'm counting lol) and due for my op on 1st July. Spending the time having the "last meal", should I say last meals. hehe
12th June sounds like it will be a well deserved break for you, you spend so much time caring for others and now it is time for you to focus on relaxing and making yourself happy. If you are not happy yourself, you can not give love to your family and friends so it is important to soak up this time. =)
I'll actually just be starting optifast when you have your anniversary celebration. I'm trying to remain confident about it, I did try the vanilla shake and it is actually not bad. I'm not sure if it will still be "not bad" after 4 weeks (2 weeks pre op and 2 weeks post op) but I am looking at it in a positive sense, being on optifast means I am so close to getting the surgery done and when I have had the surgery done the optifast signifies for me that I am so close to getting my first fill done. =D
I'm really looking forward to starting to exercise again, I miss that feeling when you finish, that natural high. Plus you get so much energy and it boosts your libido incredibly.
I'm sorry to hear that it is difficult for you to have anything in the morning, I've read on the boards that this seems to be quite common.
So how long is the break? Have you started getting packed yet? |

I know Stace!!! I'm shocked! I'm convinced it's the flattening and then nibbling. I made that sucker so flat like pita bread and it went down fine. Took me 10 minutes to eat but no problem at all. If i were to do that with just a normal unsquashed sandwich i wouldn't have a chance in hell. :) I think i have my sweet spot, i can eat almost anything but in winter nothing but a warm drink in the morning. :(
Well i hope i will look good on the 14th of June. Our anniversary is actually the 12th but the weekend is the 14th. I'm uping the excersize for the three weeks before hand so i'm going to look the best i possibly can at this stage. :) I'm SO looking forward to it i can tell you. Everytime i think of it all my muscles automatically r-e-l-a-x...........sigh. ...:) We go every year somewhere special but have been going to the same place for the last couple of years only because it's SO gorgeous and no one else has the package we get from them. Can't wait!
How goes it with U by the way stacey? Slow and steady wins the race? :)

Nic that is amazing that you had a sandwich without any PBing.
Do you feel that you have reached the sweet spot in terms of your fill restriction?
You are going to look like a godess in the new lingere!! |

Hehehehe, so it seems pretty typical then, not just my family. My family only like fish and scallops and that's it and cranky that all the good scallops are going out of state. Scallop pies..mmmmmmmmm.....dribb le drool....can still have a little bit of the inside. :) |

I know Peta!!! I couldn't believe it myself!!! Geez it was noice though! :) Can't eat any of it without squishing it though.
The weight is definatly going MUCH slower now but i've heard this is typical. I'm not bothered, i wouldn't mind that much if it took me till my second bandiversary (jan 09) to loose the rest. As long as i get rid of it.
Hey, i'm booking my tickets to see my mammy did you see? It's a shame you guys don't live in the same area. :(
Mum says it's quite fresh (brisbane's version of FREEZING COLD) :)down there already. yay! I can't wait to get down there. I love my family. If it aint curried, fried or battered they don't eat it. :) hehehehehe. You have to tell me something i have always wondered Peta but didn't want to be rude and offend anyone....is that just my family who likes to eat that way or is that a Tassie thing? Go to my mums and it's curried scallops with mashed potato, lots of chocie (because cadbury chocie is actually a health food :), fish and chips or chicken and chips.

Now if only I had the body to put inside that lovely lingerie!!!
Congrats on the sandwich Nic, must be the day for it! I ate 1/2 an egg and lettuce sandwich very slowly today. Was at a meeting and that was the only option, but the 1ml of fill removed has really opened up my food choices so I was OK thankfully.
How are things in your world? I am feeling like I can eat too much (compared to before - I am eating like an elephant!) but (mostly!) choosing better foods. We will see if I can at least hold steady weight wise and give my poor body a break for a bit.
Enjoy all the festivities I read you have planned!

| Holy guacamole! I just ate an entire fresh white bread with ham and seeded mustard sandwich!! No problem and i did it by tearing a piece off and squashing it completely flat between my fingers and nibbling a tiny bit of and chewing it to a pulp and getting through it slowly like that. The ham was VERY thinly sliced but that was delish! Well this is the first fresh white bread sandwich i have eaten (from what i can remember) since Jan 07! Yahoo! I'll try that again. Nic |
