Hi All,
Thanku for all your support. Today I think I'm actually starting to feel a little better but still very sore. First day home by myself looking aftet the kiddies so hoping all goes well.
Is it normal that you still dont feel like eating yet?? I just cant seem to want to have any soups etc. I have so far lost about 5kg so it will all be worth it in the end.

Hi Joanne,
congratulations on having your surgery - I had a big hernia as well so the Dr took that out and repaired, you may feel a bit worse because of the hernia - my lapband recovery was fine but I was in total agony for 10 days (im a bit of a wuss) because of the hernia :( hope youre feeling better soon, just make sure you keep your liquids up |

Hi All,
I came home from hospital yesterday feeling not so bad but as the day went on the worse I felt!!! Feeling a little weak today as I need to have some soup not just water and sugary drinks. I hope I start to feel a little better soon as I cant really say I have ever felt like this before. As everyone says though it's all worth it in the end. I also had a big hernia, which Dr P fixed while he was there so not sure if thats making me feel even worse.
I will keep you all updated but for now I'm back to rest up.
Thanks all

Hi Syd
When i got lapband i was never told to go on optifast or optiyuk which everyone calls it and it depends on what doctor you go to.
I had wilkinson and never had to go on optifast at all i jusr rock up and get on the bed and away i go and banded.
Not sure of Dr P i think he does the same too.
Just ask your lapband doctor before the big day if you really need to be on it or not :)
Cheers

| Hi everyone, I have become addicted to this site and have lots of other sites minimized at all times on the computer, wanting to here about everyone's buzo on lap banding even though I won't be getting one until feb when I am fully covered with mbf. Does everyone have to go on the optifast diet. I think these type of diets are what helped make me fat. Cheers Syd |

I agree with Shaz .. you follow what YOU feel not anyone else as you are the one doing it. I eat 3 meals a day now i only eat 2 meals since i had a fill 2 weeks ago. Everyone is different.
As for dietician .. i dont go to one lol i do it myself what food i can eat or not :)
Cheers
