Not forgetting to mention the horrific lies/gossip that Mel posted about myself & my family for two years that I chose to ignore the entire 2 years. Finally I exposed her with the proof exposing her for the liar she is. She went on and on for years how I neglected to visit my mother when I was in Sydney.The truth was I caught the train with Cheryl from Mel's group Sydband that Mel moderates on, to visit my mother & family.Have you any idea how much that hurt me, more so now that my mother has passed on, I would never neglect my mother! Mel also said for 2 years my "night out at the casino was a doozy", I never went to any Casino in Sydney and wherever I did go Mel didn't go or meet me anywhere anyway, she doesn't know me! Anyway, let's hope it all over red rover, here's to a peaceful board. |

| Anna & Mel Prior to me switching to a new ID (I've given up waiting for this one to be deleted). I wanted to clear the air because once I change IDs, I'm hoping I won't have the need to counter-attack, if Mel accepts the condition I am offering. Anna, you said I could be "charged with cyberbullying", that's ridiculous because yourselves, the cronies & I would be sharing a cell block together, we all wouldn't fit in one cell! You've posted countless bullying posts to me so who is it that thinks, she's "holier than thou"? I have plenty of info to prove Mel & her cronies bully me more than I bully them. Mel bullied me when I was lying flat on my back in a hospital for a month unable to even brush my hair properly, that didn't stop Mel & her cronies from bullying me when she knew I couldn't defend myself, yet YOU think I'd be charged !!! Mel you've been RESPONDING/SWIPING regularly to me in an underhanded manner in posts to others, instead of addressing your swipes directly to me. Then you self-praise yourself for ignoring me, I wish you WOULD IGNORE ME. Mel I have NEVER "promised" that I will never post an attack to you again prior to last week but then you continued to make indirect swipes at me. I am offering that promise to you AGAIN. Mel, I promise that I will never post an attack to you again ON CONDITION that you & your gang of bullies don't attack me directly or indirectly. If you & your bullies actually do accept the condition & make no further swipes I won't have to ignore you at all because there won't be any nasty comments or indirect swipes too ignore! I am so over us all bullying each other. The horrible events that have happened in Victoria have made me realise how shameful we all are because life is so short. We should be enjoying our lives and living in peace instead of using so much negative energy instead of playing tit-for- tat games to see who can post the nastiest comment in the attempt to upset one another. | Hi Meg Just wanted to say hi and check how your opti is going. I'm Tash and I was banded by Dr. Bowden last Friday (30 Jan). All I can tell you is that so far my expereince with him and the whole team has been fantastic. Jenny, his surgical nurse, has called me every second day since surgery to check how I'm going. I'm a complete worry wart and I was terrified about surgery ( as some on these boards may remember) but with the support of this group, Blair's team and the other Brisbane forum I'm doing great... Hope all goes well for you and try and get along to a coffee club catch up - fun and useful... Cheers, Tash PS - Blair does requests in theatre - he played "Dancing Queen" as I went to sleep... |

| There is a boondall motel and also one at Northgate that I can think of I have no idea the rates or anything the Boondall one looks as tho it would be cheapish but tends to fill quickly when there is something on at the entertainment centre. | This is very off topic ladies, but I am sure you will be able to help me quicker than me trying to look stuff up on the net! I group of us are going to a show at the Bris Entertainment Cent. I would like to stay the night rather than drive home as the traffic will be horiffic and I won't know where I am in the dark:) Can anyone suggest a moetl very very close to there. It only has to be a bed for the night, nothing flash. Will get up the next morning and start driving and eat on the way, so doesn't need to have breakfast facilities etc. I had a quick look on the net and found becuase I don't knbow that name of any of the suberbs it was pointless me looking! | Hiya feuding people, It's obvious that a few peoples feelings have been significantly hurt on these boards, and while I acknowledge that I have no idea what it must feel like to be attacked electronically, I think its time you take this conflict off these boards and deal with it one on one. I am a newly banded person and come to these boards for guidance and advice, of which there is so much here. I realise that I have not been around for years the way some of you have, and I don't know the history of these conflicts, and quite frankly, I dont have to. All these fights drown out the wealth of information here, that is essential to so many people. Please, please, please stop, or at least redivert your fighting to email between each other. | Hey Leah, haha I'm still getting 08 and 09 confused too, again thanks for the warm welcome. Wow 36kgs in a little over 4 months is incredible good work! Yeah I'm used to reading other boards and am therefore very used to internet beef so I'm not paying too much attention to it, it's all part of the message board experience I guess and like I said, reading this board has really helped me with knowledge about the surgery. It's obviously really important to hear advice from your doctor and dietician etc. but probably even more important to hear from people who've actually been through it. Thanks again, Meg |

| Hey Anna, thanks for the quick reply and warm welcome. Yeah the shake was pretty weird, I had the chocolate flavour though so I just pretended I was drinking chocolate cake batter haha. I'm sure it'll wear thin pretty soon, but I'm looking forward to hopefully feeling a bit healthier from the optifast stage. 13kgs in the optifast stage is amazing! Well done, I hope I'm that successful. I would definitely be interested in coming along in May. I've joined brisbane bandsters but I like this board better I think. I've already noticed that Pyretta and Doreen are pretty top notch posters in the short time I've been browsing the board! Anyway I'll keep an eye out for the get together info. Thanks again, Meg |
