You know who you are, thank you, it did work, it's even easier than you said it would be. They said they would put the forms in the post yesterday. I just have to return their forms when I receive them on Monday and include copies of all of chookle's, Mel's and Doreen's harassing, malicious and defamatory posts. Especially the ones threatening they know where I live, my phone numbers, how they chat about me on Facebook. I told them about Chookle's swipe on the Gold Coast Forum about her and Mel doing detective work while they were on the coast. I told them because I wasn't named if I say anything about it she will lie and say it wasn't directed at me. They said it will marry up with their other threatening posts and it will add not detract.
I have to send a copy of the thread where Mel and her cronies harassed me for one month when I was in bedridden in hospital and unable to defend myself. Also Doreen's posts where she was claiming I was using many fake user IDs not only during the week my mother passed away but especially at the very time I was sitting in the Chapel at the funeral. Along with the post where Doreen was discussing myself as a third party to another user and exposing my personal business that I had never told her or posted on this board about, no prizes for guessing who told her that. I also need to send them the Order of Service which proves the time and day of the funeral so they can marry that up against the fake user IDs and prove it wasn't me. They said I will have no problem with my request being granted considering I have so much evidence.
I can't believe it was so easy, I'm thrilled, you made my day yesterday. I did believe what you said but I must admit I thought it was too good to be true. I wouldn't have known if you had never worked there and I've worked in many government departments including legal, ministerials and Freedom of Information. I wish you had told me ages ago though lol.

How's the "legal action" going? I hope you remember to give your solicitor/lawyer a copy of the Bandits With Chronic Illness thread so they can read that during mid Nov and Dec 07 you harassed me for a month when I was lying flat on my back in hospital unable to walk and barely able to move even my arms, you even made it clear that you knew I was bedridden in hospital and unable to defend myself but it didn't stop you from further harassing me.
Bandits With Chronic Illness thread
http://au.messages.yahoo.com/lifestyle/lap-band/61 824
Also give them a copy of the post that Yahoo had to step in and post themselves last year, in an attempt to stop your's and your cronies "veiled swipes" on me. But don't worry if your legal counsel don't already have them, mine will oblige by providing copies in court. My legal counsel will also provide the magistrate with a huge pile of other harassing posts from you over the past 2 - 3 years.
By the way it better be in QLD because I won't be flying to Sydney unless you pay my return airfares and taxi costs.
But thanks for the heads up that you are getting legal action, it made me aware of a service that I didn't know was even available to me until today and I'm not talking about Legal Aid, it's available to EVERY Australian adult.
chookle frequently says nobody supports me which I always ignore to protect my supporters. The truth is my supporters have much more maturity and intelligence than your cronies to post their support on here, they've done that before only to be attacked by you and were forced away to create a private group of their own so some of them learnt the hard way and support me behind the scenes. After one of them read on this thread today that you threatened me with taking legal action against me, the person contacted me to suggest I contact an Australian Government department where she used to work in relation to your harassment and defamation. |

It might be worthwhile discussing your problem with your G.P. or banding doctor, there might be an anti-depressant they can give you that contains an appetite suppressant or you might need a separate appetite suppressant to tide you over until you have the restriction you are happy with. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone but considering you said you have severe depression I think it's a good idea to chat with doctors.
I have 8.5ml in a 9ml band and can still eat an average size meal if I chose too, you might have a long wait until you find you're sweet spot but hopefully the next fill will be the one.
Good luck.

Hi Doreen, please remind me... what are the rules again?
Banded in Oct 2008 - lost only 1 kg since then (put the weight I'd lost on opti back on again).
My main problem is I have quite severe depression and self medicate with food (am also on antidepressants but they only help so much)and lack motivation.
Have 4.5 mls in a 7ml band, finally feeling some restriction but am still able to eat an average size meal.
Help!

Hi Doreen
There is a brand of jeans/pants called not my adughter pants ...or something like that. i know they sell them at a shop near me. They are fashionable pants but not with low waists and fit us more mature ladies. I'll have to find out more. There is nothing I hate more than when I bend down or sit down, and my backside risks showing. I have to make sure I wear longer tops with certain pants. |

Hi Monique
I was banded by Dr Nicholson on 21st November. So far I have lost 15.3kg which means I am over my half way point! Yippee!!
Judy is fantastic and is only a phone all away if you have any questions. The new receptionist Laurie, is not quite up to speed- she only started working there last October.
So don't be afraid to ask for Judy if you have any questions.
A blog is a great idea. I wish i had known how to do that a few months ago. Yesterday my 9 year old son has showed me how to set one up!!
Good luck with the surgery. take each phase step by step and you will be losing weight in no time. 50 kgs sounds like abig number but you'll be amazed if you won't lose a heap just on the preop diet!
There is a thread called Dr Douglas Nicholson but not many people write there.

Hey all,
Just got home from the hospital. Everything went pretty well although I had to have a medium sized hiatus hernia repaired. Dr. Bowden is awesome.
Good times.

monique ,
I always dreamed of getting back to a size 12
but when I did my bmi was still way too high,
For some reason it is still up a bit now but my pants are lose, lol
so I doubt going into a low bmi (23/25 bmi) is for me
if my bmi got much below what it is now
I believe I would struggle to find nice fitting clothes
I was having troubles getting clothes suitable for a 46 yr old ,
I do not mind jeans (QLD)but not all the time lol
and hip hugging ones just do not do it for me lol
Was finding size 6 clothing was made for the young ones lol, most size 6 jeans seem really low cut and no thats not my style at all ,
I am more than happy with how far I have come
and so to me bmi is now just numbers ,lol,
My life is now so busy and I have energy to burn most days ,that was what getting this done for me was all about, having energy to get down play with the kids/grandkids and to be able to enjoy the rest of my life ,
I always say in 12 months you won't know yourself as you lose the most in the first 12/24 months ,
with weight loss ,your self esteem rises and that is great as we often have lower self esteem ,whilst overweight ,
so our confidence rises heaps,
once restricted so long as you follow the rules ,
you will steadily lose
do not aim for fast loss
as you will end up with lots of sagging skin
most Dr's say to aim for 1/2 to 1kg a week ,
In the early days on optifast /mcclouds etc
you will lose quick
but remember a lot of it is water loss so it does not keep falling so fast,
then it slows down ,
if on mushies we gain ,
thats ok you should be healing
before getting a fill or 2 then we concentrate on losing
remember your weight did not appear overnight and will not disappear overnight either
as much as we would like it too ,
skin will never be the same
but exercise helps
as does time
not losing too fast gives skin time to adjust
if you can check the new site
I am usually on chat after 8 ,Doreen |
