Hey Everyone!

Well I saw the liver specialist, and he said that being a "biggish" person it would be normal to expect me to have a bigger liver, but it shouldnt be so tender to touch, and when we touched it i wanted to throw up! So just to be sure, we wants me to have a special CT scan of the liver, and a new set of Liver function tests,I had the Liver Function Tests, 6 months ago and they were normal, so Im hoping they will still be okay. If the CT is clear, and the blood tests come back normal, im cleared of the op, if not I have to take it from there I guess....so fingers crossed!

Hi All

Been out playing fireman tonight assessing rookie firefighters, why do I do this to myself.

But it was interesting to read the posts, just thinking of Pure with boxers and dacks around the bum but what put a smile to the dial was thinking of Alex Jesalenko lifting her up by the belt as per the commercial LOVL (laugh out very loud),

Hi

Wow, I've just finshed bawling my eyes out in McLeods Daughters, yes I know, It's not real, but I love that show.

Teri
If your taking a survey. I would have a belly button. Good luck.

Terrie
Great to hear the back and neck are on the mend, but bloody hell now numbness. Take it easy and I would check out Jane's suggestion of a pinched nerve. Mwa.

Prue
Great to hear about the pants falling down. Remember it's cool to wear your pants half way down your bum with your boxer shorts hanging out the top.

Jane
Fantastic news about the 13kgs. Keep it up.

Garry
You always put a smile on my face. :-}
It is great exercise packing, but if Wendy is really appreciative it could lead......... to more exercise. lololol

Tina
I hope you had a better night sleep last night and didn't get reflux.

Helen
Obviously no computers in Spain?

Bee
How did you go at the specialist? Thinking of you.

Mandy
I hope you had a fabulous dinner, dessert, supper, midnight snack....... lolololol

Well I hope I haven't missed anyone. If I have I'm sorry but Mwa to you all.

Re:Knox Hospital bandits - Melbourne Reply to this message
Terri,

My restriction is very good, red meat isn't a problem but can no longer eat chicken. Sometimes I can eat pasta but sometimes I can't. I am going to the dietician tomorrow night so it will interesting to see what she says.
Any weightloss is good but I am growing increasly anxious for the weight loss to be greater I just want to get in the normal clothes section that truelly is my short term goal, you then have so much more as far as choices for clothes mind you I am not really cashed up at the moment for a clothes shop! lol lol lol hmmm perhaps need to find me a man that just want to shout me clothes hehehehe
The pins and needles sound exactly like my dad had a while ago and it was a pinched nerve in his neck region have you had tests to look at this, he had a numerous scans and bone density tests etc as we were getting worried it was the signs of another stroke to come but greatfully it was a pinched nerve (very painful from what dad would say).

Bloody kids you love them do death and can be soooo proud of them and you could also easily hand them back (as the saying goes).

You need to train the hubby to clean the kitchen while you sit back and relax with a cuppa!!!!

Well telly is woofull so I was hoping it would be a bit more interactive tonight on the board.

KOOOOOOWEEEEEEE to everyone out there.
I am not on here much but when I am I want to say a big hello to allllllll out there in cyberland.

Terrie,
Your right my 18 year old is a pet, I just have'nt figured out a pet what!!!! I think along with his licence, he also got a licence to become an I d i o t . Shhhh don't tell Smash I said that, I am supposed to be a caring supportive Mum.
What a strange question !!!! Do you want a belly button?
I would feel like a freak without one, or perhaps you could show it off to everyone and say that you were immaculatly conceived....just a thought, good party story.
Good luck on Friday, hope all goes well.

Shelly,
Have a wonderful time at the wedding, don't forget to pack the tape to wrap around your Mum's mouth, in case she feels the need to tell everyone what you have done.
Mwa

Bee,
Good luck, thinking of you, fingers crossed for no more delays.

Jane,
How is your restriction now? I asked once before but you did'nt answer. Congratulations on the loss.

Prue,
Hi Buddy,
Did you know Dave was in Hospital, collapsed on Saturday, Danni rang an ambulance, and was in Hospital till Tuesday? I think. He had Pancreatitis (Don't know how you spell it!) Must be ok, he's back home again.

Jane,
Thanks for asking about the neck, no pain anymore but neurological problems now, numbness in arm and pins and needles in fingers and thumb. All part and parcel of getting older I think.

Off to clean the kitchen now.

Night night all
Terri

Garry,
I live in Mooroolbark tooo, we could be neighbours!!!

Shelley,
I hope you have a fab weekend with that sexy new body of yours.

Tina,
Good to see you back on the board.

Prue,
Good to hear the pants are falling down (I'm sure thats what Steve likes to see too) hehehhe

Terri and Terrie,
Hello to you both, Terrie I hope all goes well at hospital with your tests. Terri I hope your neck is still getting better

Mandy,
Goodluck with optifast, it really is a good way to prepare yourself mentally for your weighloss journey after the band!

Goodness I hope I haven't left anyone out.

My dad is unwell again both his lungs are over half full with fluid he is going to ringwood hospital tomorrow to get them drained. He walks just a few steps and needs to rest as he is so buggered.

Thinking of you all.

Oh by the way I finally moved on the scales and have lost 13.1 kgs (not much compared to some but still good I believe)

Jane:-)

Hi Terri
I`ll take your lovely 18 year old son he`s a pet.
Tummy tuck info going good . I hope to get it done soon I have to wait until I sort other health problems out first before they will do it. I go in to hospital on friday for the day for tests so as soon as I get answers I will go ahead with the tummy tuck.
LOL LOL The doctor as me if I wanted a belly button he said you don`t have to have one.
Let you know more soon . Terrie

Re:Knox Hospital bandits - Melbourne Reply to this message
Packing to go away is so easy, you go to the wardrobe and grab the shirts the clean shirt fairy left and the draw to get the clean socks the clean sock fairy left and so on, its easy.

Now finding a spot to park the car is quit another thing.

No not moving far, from Mooroolbark to Lilydale (to a renter) then to the new place in Lilydale. Looking forward to it 50 meters to the board walk to the lake can’t wait but don’t tell Wendy that.

Hi Garry

You crack me up!!!

Good luck with the packing and help poor Wendy, you will find it is much easier than trying to tell her you have a week. I'm with her, get it done a.s.a.p.

Hubby isn't coming to Sydney. I'm going with my mum and the kids. Therefore he doesn't have to take part in the last minute frenzy, which he is very glad of. You and he would get along like a house on fire and he also thinks women complain about anything..... he thought the birth of our two children was the easiest thing he has ever done and doesn't know what all the drama was about??????

I hope you aren't moving too far away that you wont be able to attend the meetings!!!!!!

Say hi to Wendy and tell her to breathe.

Take care
Shelly

Re:Knox Hospital bandits - Melbourne Reply to this message
Hi Shelly

I check the scales regularly it is quite a buzz to see the weight come off, just need to chuck em if you start to get depressed or obsessed.

You want to see a headless chook, you should see Wendy at the moment, 4 weeks till we move for the first of two times this year and is hell bent on getting all the packing done on the first day, that’s Vergo’s for you, can’t kick back.

Must admit now we have sold I am keen to move on, but not the keen that I need to finish packing this week.

Going to Sydney is easy just ask a bloke last time we went just got the clean clothes from the draw, dropped the kids off and went didn’t have to organize a thing except the parking of the car. I don’t know what Wendy was complaining about either, it was easy just ask hubby.

Re:Knox Hospital bandits - Melbourne Reply to this message
Good afternoon my bandy buddies :-} :-} :-}

I have bought myself some new scales. I know, I know, but I figure it may be a good idea to keep track between fills, so as not to be sooooo disappointed at fill time..... and I have already lost 1kg. So I am a very happy girl. I think this fill is probably where I need to be as I am not getting hungry between meals. See how we go.

Mandy you do need a card to get into Cadbury's. I would lend you mine but it is a photo i.d. I think your son's girlfriends mother is very strange. I don't think when my daughter is 16 I would be letting her boyfriend stay the night!!!!

Good luck tomorrow on the optifast. You can do it!!!!

Well people I am off to Sydney Friday and will probably be running around like a chook without a head tomorrow, packing, organising kids and husbands, cleaning, washing blah blah blah..... so if I don't get a chance to pop on here tomorrow I will catch you all when I get home. I will try and get on tonight to tuck you all in.

Take care
Don't miss me too much.
