| Hello everyone! I have hardley any pain now, what is left I wouldnt really call "pain" anyway lol, I can sleep on both my sides, and tummy now, and Im feeling good. I changed my bandage thingies yesterday, and I got to see my scars for the first time, they look funny with the staples, but they are all so small, and fine. Sam - thanks for the comment about my site, its pretty easy once you get the hang of it Shelley - Sounds like you had a great time with the sharks, I told you it would be fun! Tracey - Not long now! | Hi everyone I'm here. The dive was FANTASTIC, I had such a great time. I had to be at the dive school at 11am for theory then at the Wesley College pool at 12 for a dive to put the theory into practice, then at the aquarium at 3 and in I went at 5. All the time dragging Kevin along with me to watch. I went in with the sharks and it was excellent, I can't even describe the feeling I had when I came face to face with a Grey Nurse Shark and then had to duck my head so it didn't swim into me !!!!! There were turtles and I touched 3 sting rays, they were huge. I'm rambling now, anyway, I had a great time and recommend everyone do it. I didn't post last night as after the dive we went out for dinner. I looked a treat and smelt like fish, but we got a nice table with no one around us......... he he he by the time we got home about 12.30, I was exhausted and had a shower and went to bed. | Hi everyone, Had a good time - lunch and coffee with the girls, hope next time some more of you can make it too. Helen, not only didn't you see the bag but I had brought the very first quilt I made (mostly pieced by hand) with me too - oh well, good excuse for another meeting hee hee. Enjoyed our get together very much, thank you for being patient with me when I bombarded you both with questions. I got home in time to make those phone calls (without speeding!!) so wouldn't have had time to turn back anyway. Bee, just had a look at your website - FANTASTIC girl - wish I knew how to do stuff like that...still learning my way around this net business. | Hi All Karen sorry to hear about your hold up but maybe best to fix one at a time, dont lose heart you will get there. Hi Shelly you will probably be back from your swim by the time you read this, it was easy wasn’t it. All in one piece I hope LOL. Hi Prue hope things get better for you soon, sounds like you are going through the ringer a bit. But at least you haven’t copped the gastro. I am a the eternal optimist. | Good Morning to everyone else! lol Not much to say today, ran into Terri at Eastland last night...she looks great! Still having trouble eating before late afternoon. Family situation is no better! Kids over Gastro...thats good! Havent found my mobile phone...sohave no-one's phone numbers! And on top of all that...the weather is going to be cr ap again today! Prue ps. Sorry girls that I didn't make it yesterday, Ethan's basketball team got into the finals at Hooptime and I couldn't leave him. |

| Hi Brian I've calmed down a lot about it now thank goodness. You're right in everything you said. I am really lucky it was discovered now, as any fluctuation in blood pressure (like during an operation) could have caused a bleed and I might not survive that. | Karen, I was so sorry to hear your news and I can understand how upset you must feel. However, the gods may be looking out for you in uncovering your condition prior to surgery. At least now you have a chance to do something about the aneurysm and reschedule your surgery for when it will be safer and when you are stronger. Your Neurosurgeon sounds like a prize DH and again, it is fortuitous that you are referred to someone else....who will probably be more professional and more caring. Take care Brian |

| Hi Jane I haven't been to any meetings yet, so we haven't met. Intended to go to the last one and got gastro. Yep, I always seem to be sick lately. THis aneurysm is the only one I've had. I was diagnosed with it about 2 years ago. It was 6mm in size then. They told me aneurysms of this type are not likely to bleed until they reach 10mm. I was referred to a Neurosurgeon in the Public System and saw him in February this year. He took one look at me and told me that I probably didn't have an aneurysm and even if I did he wouldn't operate as I was so morbidly obese. Then he said "Have you ever thought of going for a walk?", shaking his head in disgust. Oh, the reason he didn't think I had an aneurysm was because his screen resolution was poor and he had a small computer screen. He wanted me to complain to the hospital about it! I spent two weeks in hospital in March with a back injury and I was then referred to another Neurosurgeon. He organised for me to have a CTA, which I had this afternoon. Dr Hensman rang me at home with the result that the brain aneurysm I supposedly didn't have has grown to 9mm and my lap banding is cancelled. Dr Hensman rang my Neurosurgeon to let him know the result. My Neurosurgeon doesn't deal with brains, only spines so I have to see another Neurosurgeon asap. Hopefully I'll be able to have non invasive surgery. Cheers Karen |

| Evening! Great to see you, Sammie, and Susie at the nursery today ~ sorry you couldn't make it, Prue. Sammie, I never got a look at your chenille bag complete! I remembered on the way home and thought about phoning you to get you to turn round, but thought you might not appreciate that!! I am waiting to bid for something on eBay, so thought I would come and see who's up to what, but you're obviously all out having a good time! | Karen, I was just reading about you. That is terrible news. You need to look ahead as things can only look up. Have you problems with brain anersyms (sorry about the spelling) before????? Jane |
