Hi everyone,

Personally I found David Scott far more generous and understanding when I went in for fills. I went in today, just to check in really. I dont want any more in at this stage as I am travelling along ok, 14 kilos down in the last 15 weeks. I can still eat most things so I am a happy camper at the moment. I can only suggest to those slow with the fills to keep on pestering and keep going back. Except of course for Shan, you'll have to wait it out - poor thing!!!

Hope everyone else is doing well, Wendy I am thinking of you and am excited for you!

Arrrggghhh...I'm so frustrated. Sometimes I think that Chris Hensman is too conservative with his fills..... Just needed to vent my frustration!!
I'm being refilled after a complete unfill (make sense???) and it seems to be taking forever to get back to the level that I was at.....

Hi all

Very hot already. I am coping with the shakes and all the water. I weighed myself on Monday when I started and as of today have lost 1 kg already, lets hope it keeps going down.

Phillipa hope you are feeling more positive and 2009 WILL be a better year for you. How are Craigs hives?

Happy Birthday Sue for yesterday.

Keep cool everyone.

Hi all

Phillipa, 2009 is going to be great for you, cause you deserve a break. And Cadburys do a magnificent low fat icecream :)

Michelle, I am so sorry to hear your news. But no matter what he did, your marriage was worthwhile because you got your two gorgeous children from it, and they will help you heal. You are such a strong person and have been through so much. You will get through this too, but it will take time. Make sure you ask for help and get the support you need.

Wendy, enjoying the optifast?? Not long to go, how exciting!!

Saw Cheryl on Friday to remove bandages from my port fixing op, and its all good. My birthday yesterday, so ate and drank too much bad stuff, gee it was good LOL, back on the wagon today.

Try to keep cool everyone, and drink lots of water.

Cheers
Sue

evening all, hot today , but more to come, must remember not to eat ice cream to cool down. My big fear is putting on weight. I see Richard in Mid feb to show him how the scar is going. It was 2 months ago yesterday that he sliced me open. oh well let's see wher 2009 takes me.

Cheers Phillipa

Hi all,

Wendy two weeks!!!! That time has gone so quickly. I didn't find the optifast too bad, others hate it. Hope you get through it easily :)

I went to Weribee Zoo yesterday with mum and the kids. It was a nanna day, a day for the kids to be with their nanna. We had a fantastic time. We went on the Open air safari. It was awesome, worth every cent.

Have a great day, stay cool for the next week.

Hi all

Heather and I are home from Queensland. Had a great time.
Got home late last night. Garry and Andrew have been good boys, all washing done, house clean and extra jobs have been done too.

Started optifast today, 2 weeks tomorrow until I am also a bandit. I hope the time goes quick.

Hope everyone else is good.

Re:Knox Hospital bandits - Melbourne Reply to this message
Hi Everyone
Hope all is well.

Michelle: im really sorry that happened to you! I realise it sounds so simple to say but the one thats worth it wont make you cry!!!!! WOrds ive learned to live by! Show that bugger what your made on hunny!

Bianca: thanks for the call the other day. Am loving Dream Divas but am WAY LOVING City Chic, brought the cutest little dress there....where did you say there factory outlet was, might try to go there next time im in Melbs...
Was back in Melbs on Friday for my second fill, and it was only 1/2ml. I asked the Dr for me and i think i got a lecture about how its a slow process and we dont wanna rush it....you know the story. I knew he wouldnt give me more but thought it worth asking. I lost 1/2 kilo in the last two weeks since my first fill and realise that whilst i didnt put on or stay the same i was kinda disappointed that it was only a 1/2kg. I have been doing shedloads of exercise though and my clothes are getting looser so im hoping that ive put a little muscle on at the same time. They had a little trouble getting my second fill in and were digging around with that needle a little bit which felt really weird but it was ok. Have another appointment in two weeks time and then another in a month after that...BRING IT ON i say!
Hope everyone has a fantastic day in store for them tomorrow for OZ Day celebrations....i cant wait!

Love
SHan

Hi all,

I'm home..... Must have a great time cause I put on 2kgs :(
Looking forward to my next fill.

Mandy it was good to hear from you, I'm so glad your getting your health back on track.

Phillipa good to hear your getting stronger each day, take it easy and don't over do it.

Craig I hope the hives have eased and you have stopped scatching. What caused them?

Wendy, Queensland is so nice. Have a great time. Although I think you said you were coming home today (Saturday). I hope your nice and relaxed.

Garry good to hear your working hard. Someone had to keep the country running while we were all on holidays :)

Michelle, what can I say? Take care of you. Get the help you need to get through this time and draw on all your friends and family for support. We are all here for you if you need to vent, chat, get something of your chest... anything. You will get through this although it may not seem that way now. Take care. Sending hugs ()

Take care everyone, I'm off to get all the stuff the kids need to go back to school. Office works here I come.....

Michelle

So sorry to read your news, we seem to hear a fair few similar stories on this site, I wonder if sometimes the change in us is not what our partners ultimately want even though it makes us happy. I hope things get easier for you over time, look after yourself especially for those gorgeous kids of yours.

Take care
Mandy

Hi all

I haven't been on this site for ages as we have family visiting from overseas and what with Christmas and holidays time has run away. I haven't read back very far but I hope everyone is keeping well. I am doing pretty well health wise, getting on top of my illness at last so hope to get back on the weight loss wagon soon, fingers crossed.

So a belated Happy New Year to you all and lets hope this is your best year yet!

Take care
Mandy

Re:Knox Hospital bandits - Melbourne Reply to this message
Michelle, you have been through a lot and need to be kind to yourself. You have had a tough time lately. For what its worth your partner sounds pretty shallow if he thinks it will be better for him to find someone else as nice as you but firmer. His new friend should not feel too settled with him because people who cheat usually do it again. You have got your beautiful children to keep you grounded, and the counselling etc will help get you through the really tough days. Its OK to feel like c r a p, to not want to get up in the morning, to not want to take a shower, if that's how you get through your day. Are your children school age? If so they will be back to school soon and maybe you can have some 'me time'. If they are littlies, can you have a friend mind them for an hour or two just so you can have a manicure or go for a walk or whatever. Gee I think I'm rambling here, but I know what its like to have my husband leave me, but he didnt leave me for another person, just that he'd grown out of love with me. That was tough enough, but a relief in a way because I didnt love him anymore either. My self-esteem went and still is non-existent. It will be tough for you for some time, but be comforted to know you have some good friends around you. :) Toni

Michelle,
I am really sorry to hear what you are going through.
The outside may change but the beautiful person within does not.
I am sorry that James had to say such a cruel thing.
Its to do with guilt.. If they can be nasty and cruel it helps with the guilt they feel for doing such a thing.

BTDT
I am glad you are getting the help you need.
Vent away if it helps.

Michelle,
I am so sorry to hear about what you are going through right now. What James said was just cruel, he had nothing to gain saying that except to make you feel bad. I hope you continue getting the help you need to feel stronger. Its a day by day effort, and your gorgeous kids will help you I am sure.

Michelle,

you know I am always thinking of you and good to chat to you today. Remember the kids are wonderful gorgeous beings and when a marriage breaks down they are one reasson to keep going. I made it through and marriage breakdown and so did Craig and now we have each other. So sty focussed on the big picture.

Cheers Phillipa
