| Hello everyone I cant make it for dinner but i hope you have a nice time! I have been on optiyuck for 3 weeks and just confirmed using the surgeons scales that i have lost just over 10 kilos YIPPEE I still find that i am getting hungry quite often and i did have a small cheat last night - i had a piece of steak - a good cut no fat and i skipped the opti meal so calourie wise i stayed in line!! | Hi Dana, he is very conservative with fills. Just keep going back and getting more. I didn't think I even had a band in until after the third fill. You'll get there. Keep an appointment in advance. You can always cancel it but it is very hard to get one. Linda |

| Hi Dana, glad everything went well. Most people don't get restriction from only one fill. I say most, as there's a few who get it just from their band or with one fill) but, by and large, it takes 3,4 or 5 to get restriction. Just do what you're already doing and go a bit more frequently if you need to. Good job with exercising some restraint, too - it's not easy! Jo. |

| Hi guys, I was banded on 5/09/08 so just over 3 weeks ago. I have a 10ml band and went to see Mr Deutcher last monday and got 1ml put in. I have absolutely no restriction and I find I can eat almost anything. I have also put on weight since initially losing 6kg's in the 1st week. I am always hungry and I have to stop myself from eating too much. Granted I'm not eating as much as before but I'm still eating too much. I rang Jo at Mr Deutcher's office and explained and she's fitted me in next tuesday for another fill. I was suppose to go back on 20/10/08 for a fill but I can't wait that long. I suppose I'm asking, is this normal? Why am I still eating so much? Thanks Dana |

| I had lap banding 3 days ago so still sore and getting used to it. My sista lee lives in cairnes she had banding 3 years ago is doing good. I will let mum know it is you she just raved about how gr8 u looked thats what helped me to make the decision.
