Hi all
Pleased that you are all feeling great and the results are starting to go the right way again!! Such a big head game isn't it and of course we are so hard on ourselves!!
Neens - thanks for the text sweetness and hope that you recover well this weekend.
Big surprise for me this morning. Got on the scales and there was that magical number - 75kgs!!! Not 75.anything - but finally at goal!!! Can't believe that I am here but now I find myself thinking - now what???? So 56.5kgs gone forever and I'm very pleased....... A HUGE thank you to each and everyone of you for your amazing support over the last 18 months since we all meet up!!
Keep smiling everyone.......

Hey Ev,
I just read this post and I'm with you all the way on those "little things" that are the most important.a
I used to hate flying, going to the movies, buses in fact anything that invovled public seating.
I'd only go to the movies if I could go "gold class" which costs about $50 a ticket.
And the utter humiliation and pitying looks of cabin crew when you ask for a belt extension.
LOL I'm going to book a flight somewhere one day just to travel on a plan.
On a blerk note: I've gained 3kg...well two actually because I"m prementstrual and I always can about kg of fluid then. I am not sure how it happened (doh! of course I"m sure I've been eating too much comfort food) and I"m sure it would have been worst if I wasn't still training.
I'm off to see the surgeon today for my 1 year checkup (a bit late I know) so I might ask him to check my fill level and maybe add a tiny tiny bit.
It's finally started rainning here in Perth!!! Ysy
Warm fuzzies you fabulous folks

| Trish you so sound like me...the day before the flu really hitting I spent the whole day in bed with what I thought was a migrane. Well we are banding sisters and now we are also flu sisters...yeah...Wouldn't you rather that be millionaire sisters or at goal sisters! Thinking this fever is reducing my mere brain cells even more... twisted sisters...lol...argh! |

Hi Nina,
Well l think l am getting sicker by the minute. I must of caught your bug. I am still at work, but l am all cold but l feel hot. Have also got a headache since this morning that wont go away. Oh well looks like an early night for me tonight. I'm off to find panadol so that l can finish my day.
I laughed at the scales because one day last week mine told me l was only 84.2 kilo and l thought holy sh - it, but hte next day l was back to 90.4 so l think my scales like to play head games as well.

Hi Nina,
Take care and get plenty of rest, I hate the cold and flu season, its depressing.
I had a huge blow out on the weekend, Drank way to much and so l have gained weigh. today l am 91.0 Kilo not to bad, but the best thing about the band l know that l can get back on track and l dont really have to worry.

Kazza, you have done so well, I was banded on the same day as you and started at 115kg and now am 76, but I seem to be stuck there, hopefully I'll start moving again soon, but I'm going on a plane in Aug and Oct and i was only thinking the other day how I wont have to have a belt extension and that the tray should come down OK, little things like that really make a difference

Congrats Kazza! I understand totally with the flying NSV's!
Everyone must be really busy and enjoying their lives it's been so quiet on 'our' thread. I'm in the middle of heaps of travel for work at the moment. 10 planes in 11 days! Think I've got about 6 to go until I get home on Thursday morning. Then I'm going to take the rest of the day off for some pampering - new hair colour etc.
Up at McArthur River from now till Tuesday. Work is really keeping me busy for now. My size 12 jeans are too big now and I have to keep pulling them up - brought size 10 and they feel really good. Can't believe that I am a 10 for gawd sake...... When I left home I was nearly to goal. So I'm thinking when I get home I probably will be as I eat very healthy on mine sites and when in motels etc. Anyways - will post again when I get home.
Hope everyone is going fantastic!!
Cheers

Yep me too.
Its so easy to slip into old habbits. If you have a good week you think your a hero and nothing can stop you until some thing gets stuck and you end up in the loo as you come crashing back down to earth with a dose of realism.
Yes we must all the be the same.

LOL Perth isn't that big Trish or it is and there are a HUGE proportion of losers/w a n k e r s/drop kicks and they all seem to find their way to my door.
*sigh* but on the up side I"m collecting a great set of stories to share with...well anyone that will listen.

HI there lovely ladies,
hope you all had a wonderful mothers day, I did. Well thought I would share this little snippet with you tonight.....I hope you have all eaten.
Just had a thought today that excited me, I have not PBd for 4 weeks, wooohoo, so what did I do, pushed my luck, that is what I did!!! Had some lovely whiting out for tea, I put it in an alfoil parcel, spray the foil, put some lemon pepper on it and a tiny bit of butter, stick it in the oven. Then did a bit of mash, and to top it off the banster worst enemies, PEA's and CORN, cause you know I am sure that I can eat anything now!!!!!! Well guess what ladies, I just got reminded.....I CANT BLOODY EAT EVERYTHING!!!! Spent the next two hours with my head down the loo, arrrhhhhh!!!!!
What a learning curve, been reminded and learnt another lesson, but still try the lemon pepper whiting, that goes down a treat!!!
Mermaid,
p.s. just thought I would share!!!! |

Hi Elle,
Perth is a big place surely they cant all be loosers.
I am sure the right on is out there its just a matter of finding him. Easier said than done l know.
Good luck in your quest, should be a little fun along the way.

Hey Mermaid,
You pulled a hammy getting out of the recliner? ROFL I think it's time to take up sky diving hun...much much safer by all accounts.
Hope you all had a fabulous mother's day.
Ohhh and for those that want to know...yet another loser bloke bites the dust in the sad tragic tale that is Ellee's Love Life. At this rate I'm going to have used up all the loser guys in Perth before mid year and I"m going to have to start looking further afield for them.
*grin* watch this space for "Ellee's Adventures in Sydney"

Hi All,
Happy Mothers day to all our mums.
My weigh in this week is the same as it was last week. 89.9 still hovering around the same. I just dont seem to be able to past this, not to worry there is always next week. I am booked to have the fill put back in at the end of the month, so l will be happy if l can maintain my weight to then.
Have a great day
Cheers Trish |

Well done on all the stairs, last night I just got out of the recliner and pull a hammy, lol. I am hobbling today, must give up those extreme sports.
Well it is good to see hear from you,
take care
