| Same here girls, haaaaate having my piccy taken! That's why in my "after" photo I have a look on my face like... just friggin take it! Not sure if that will change Trish...guess when we see how good we actually DO look in the photos we'll get used to them? Hopefully? | Hi Ev, I still hate having my photo taken, because photos never lie. It was hard to find a good photo of me to send to Di for our book. I had to wait till l had a reason to be dressed right before l would let any take my photo. I wonder if that will ever change Take care Trish |

| Hi Mermaid - hope your mum is ok. They are a worry these parents aren't they? Kazza - you've done fantastic!!!! 40.7kgs is a great amount of weight to loose in 11 months. Well done. Now that you are in the green zone you'll be flying through it... The ladies that sent me photos for the book I have emailed it to you. If anyone else would like to send me their before and after photos along with a blurb, then please do. I have 5 of us 'featured' in this version but can easliy add to it. Elle - I only got the 1 photo and no blurb. If you would like to send the other photo and story I'll be more than happy to add to it. Let me know what you think ladies..... | Hi Mermaid hope your mum has a fast recovery just wanted to let you know i had a fill last week and now i know what its like to be in the green zone it wonderful can eat small amount of most foods but not too much it taken me almost a year to get this way still loosing slowly and yes it is journey for life change that requires a lot of hard work total loss is 40.7kg dob o7/04/08 April bandits you are all amazing how you all share your journeys Kazza |

| Hi Ros Wow - what an exciting journey you are about to begin!! The only advice I can give with opti is to experiment on what you like & what you don't. I found as long as my shakes were ice cold - with plenty of ice in them - that they were ok. I used the steam vegies that i could buy in the individual sachets really good because they were easy. Has your dietician given you what you can/can not have?? The first few weeks I had up & go, V8 juice, soups, anything that went up a straw basically. Please feel free to have a look at my blog. | I am going in to be banded on the 30th of march, just looking for some helpfull hints on how to survive the next two weeks on the 3 shakes a day diet. | Hi Ev, I am the same l always get the muchies after tea, l just try to be good, but not always. Chocolate is my 1st thing that makes me fall off the wagon and the other is ice cream. If the kids have them l am a goner l just go back to my old ways, then feel really sick afterwards. I try to have fruit or custard made with skim milk so at least my snack is healthy. Cheers TRish |

| OMG Nina that sucks. Dont worry when yu get you fill top up you will get back on track. I have a great night with all my school friends, was really bizarre to be in a room with people that over you have lost contact with. We have decided to have another reunion in 5 years time, but my group of friends will try and stay incontact from now on. My weight loss is great this week l am down to 91.0 a total loss of 44 kilos for me to date. Trish |

I made an appointment with the doc for a fill, have to wait for three weeks for it tho....grrr....busy man my doc. Di, answer to your question about the cost of the fills: I have to pay $125 but get about $100 back from Medicare. Sometimes wonder why they can't just charge us the price after Medicare, some of us are not that lucky to have $125 available all the time...makes things a little bit tricky sometimes. | Hi every one, well l have been fusing all day what l should wear out tonight. I have my high school reunion (20 years sine year 12) Then l thought most of these people l havent seen in 15 years so they will never know my struggle with weight, so now l can relax and enjoy. I went shopping to day at rockman to get a new out fit. well when l started l was the largest size at Beme at Rockmans stores to today l brought size 16 from their noraml range, OMG lm not a fat chick any more. what a great feeling. Another reason to go out tonight and celebrate. Di l wil get a photo before l go out tonight for our book, Cheers Trish |

I'm hearing what you are saying. 5kgs to go & it is coming off so much slower now. But, I don't mind. 80kgs was my original goal and I am at that now. I sorta think if I keep loosing now - that's ok, but if I stay on 80kgs - then that's ok too. Neens - just stoked for you with your order. I did a happy dance for you when I read it!! I have been thinking about getting a .2 top up to shift these last couple of kilos but after reading that I think I will wait! Arrived back from Darwin yesterday then went and meet a lady (hi fnqgurl if you're reading!!) that is being banded in April 09!!It was great to be able to share the experience that I have been through with somene else. Had a lovely dinner last night with my niece & sis-in-law. I love going out now - all dressed up and wearing my jeans & high heels. It is such a great feeling. Off to a Shannon Noll concert tonight which will be fun too. He's not everyone's music choice but a night out is better than sitting at home hey!!!!! | I have'nt been around for a while so it's taken me ages to catch up with things. To all those that have been struggling I send warm fuzzy thoughts to you all. To those of you experiencing traumatic life crises...I pray your strength sees you through these times. I'm doing ok, weight maintenance is still working, but it's getting a little harder than I thought it would. It's been proven to me yet again that we can NEVER AFFORD TO GET COMPLACENT. I'm still within the three kg range I want to be in but even with all the exercise I do it's still a struggle. I'm off for a camping trip this weekend..a new experience for me. I've never been camping before and i"m not sure how this is going to go. My big plan is: if it all gets too horrible and "icky" I'm going to get very very drunk and then pass out so it will all be over before I know it. I'll let you all know how it goes. In the meantime stay strong ladies (and gentlemen if there are any of you lurking in the April Bandits ) and remember to chew, chew, chew then chew some more. warm fuzzy lovin thoughts Ellee |

| Oh Trish ... don't know what to say, that's terrible! Glad you are back to normal and feeling good, thank gawd for that...sounds like a blockage from hell...lets hope we all stay clear of those...punt intended! I'm feeling good today too, judge granted me the intervention order for 12 months and I'm happy! No more violence, intimidation, phone calls, nothing! Yiihhaaaa! Can't go for a walk today because it's poring rain but will be doing pilates as soon as I log off...wondering why I've put on 2.5kg's eating really well and exercising...hmmm... not panicking yet, hoping it's just fluid? Impossible to put on that amount of fat overnight, right? Neens |

| Hi everyone, Well what a few days l have had. I had back pain between my shoulder blades and thought it was just muscles. Well then on Tuesday night when l couldnt breath or swallow l thought oops lm in trouble. I was walking around the house at 2 am thinking this is it, then l thought about the fizzy drink trick. I had a huge glass of coke, which caused more pain and suffering but at least it moved something and l was able to go to bed and get some sleep, even know l sat up in bed all night. when the doctor removed the fill l felt huge releif instantly, he told me to take it easy for a few days as my pouch will be raw for all the pbing. Today l feel like a million bucks Thanks for caring it means a lot to me to have your support. Trish |
