I can't believe so many of us are at goal or close to goal...but I do know one thing: All of us have improved our lives, no matter if the loss is 5kg's or 50kg's...and the best thing being it'll continue to get better and better :-) Yiihhaaaaa to us! | Hi there beautiful girls, Just dropped in to say hi and happy bandiversary to me, one year today I started this amazing journey. Together we have done so much, I know that I would do it all again in an instant (even tho I have a huge overfill at the moment and feeling like c@ap). I have lost 31 kgs and am now in a size 11, loving this life and peoples reactions. I thank you all for walking this road with me, especially you nina and di, everyone is so inspirational and supportive, what a fine month we are.lol. I am now going to celebrate by lighting candles, having a bubble bath and a wine. Im gonna give thanks for all the good things that have come my way. | Di, glad your holiday went well, isnt it great when people can really notice the difference. The other day at the super market my hubby gave me a 10kg bag of spuds and said lift that, when I could barely lift it he said you've lost nearly 4 of those and you use to carry it around all the time. | Hi all - well we are back in Aussie safe and sound!! Looks like everyone has had a great Easter & are enjoying the bandiversary month!! Had a fantastic time. 2 aunties and 4 cousins didn't recognise me which was quite funny! Only 2 kilos to goal now. Got on the scale and lost .5 this week while away. It might catch up next week cause I ate sooooooooooooooo much shlt when in NZ! lol... didn't stress or anything though because I am happy with where I am at the moment. I picked hubby up from the airport today and he commented that he really noticed my weight loss in the face. So apparently those couple of kilos are quite noticeable. My cold has turned into the flu from all the cold weather, so busily taking antibiotics and sleeping to try and get rid of it. So pleased I took today off as well!! Neens - need more details sweet on this mystery date.... please......?????????? Well - I'm back off to bed now. Will put some photos up from the holiday on my blog soon. | Hello Everyone I am one year on today. I have lost 21 kg and dropped clothes sizes and feel so much better in myself than I did 12 months ago. I still struggle with my eating (Chewing correctly is my main problem) but it funny how you adapt to this new way of living. I am glad I did it and I have appreciated all the invaluable advice and support I have received from this website. |

| Hi di and every one Happy Easter to all well i had my one year anniversary and yes i am really happy 44kg on the 7/04 one year on loving my band loving my life i hope Easter for you all was just wounder full as mine was a lovely picnic on the Brisbane river over looking the city but just like you Di i haven't been good with the Easter bunny well back on the band- wagon on Tuesday i bet it was a funny feeling not to be recognised by your family have a good flight home Kazza |

| Trish try -52.3 Celcius...that's what they had in Finland 2 years ago! I'm used to the -40's so the cold in here shouldn't really bother me...funny I don't think I've ever been colder than in Australia tho. Every time it gets under 20 I'm freezing my lil butt off! I've been thinking the same about blockages, had the same experience than you with a chicken nugget I stole from my son...pb'd it the next morning after a whole night of sliming and indigestion. Just amazing how after a YEAR of learning how to chew I still don't do it properly! My restriction is now totally gone with the removal of 1ml so have to try and be really careful with what I eat...next appt in 2 weeks. Di good to hear from you and glad you made it there safe, unbelievable about your mum, how awesome is that!!! Gerry the day is getting closer, you must be getting so excited :-) Mermaid...remember that black dress you sent me? The one I keep on my bedroom wall as a reminder not to be naughty? | Hi Nina I am so happy you got the unfill, its amazing how quick you feel better. lol I had a really yuck experience when l had my over fill, l ate potato chips at night while watching TV and then l went to bed about 2 hours later and the next morning l PBed and it was the chips that l had eaten the night before, so it got me wondering that if food can stay in the pouch could it go off and rot in there. I know its ayucky thought, but l would like to knwo the answer... So l would advise cany one that thinks that they have an overfill to have some fill removed because of this. Poor Di, l know how could l was last winter here in Warrnambool and she is over in NZ. My sister has been there for 4 years now and still cant get used to the cold weather. A hot day over there is around 26. Here that is just warm. lol. Have a great Easter every one, l am off camping till Tuesday and wont have my computer. Take care Trish |

| Hey everyone!! Arrived safe and sound over here in NZ. And yes - it is friggen freezing!!!!!!!!! Having a great time seeing my family though. There have been some fantatic comments etc. Mum said that she spotted Shannon first and if I didn't have him with me that she wouldn't have known me....... My aunty didn't recognise me!! It has been really funny watching all the reactions! It is sooooooooo cold though and really noticing the cold without the extra layers of fat to keep me insulated!! lol.. Chat to you all later... | HI NIna, I'm in first and Hayley will follow. One week to go now, I sooooo hope it happens this time otherwise I will have to wait until the June/July school hols as I am a Special Needs Teachers Aide and my time is valuable with the children as the teaching rely on me to do a lot of varied programs with the children from yr1 to yr7. That was the main reason for trying to have it done this week and not later as I would have only needed to miss 3 school days away from the children. But well best laid plans went out the window. But my boss our principal was very understanding and said everything is fine just take the time I need to recover, so that was all good. Thanks again and a Happy Easter to everyone. Luv, Gerry |
