| OMG Ellee! You poor baby!!! What a list of wa***rs you have met⦠what the hell is up with the 54 year old? Fraud? All this double dating *** e? Well Ellee remember you asked for itâ¦hereâs mine for comparison. Have to warn you guys⦠not for the young ones⦠My first ânot so normalâ person would have been the one I moved to Aus to live with. Met him on the net, was supposed to be tall (185cm), handsome, live in a big house and drive a BMW. Well. He ended up being half a head shorter than what I was (Iâm 174cm he was about 160cm), his pic was photoshopâd (butt ugly but it WAS him in the pic), lived in a big house but rented one room of it and never in his life had a license let alone a car. His boss has the BMW. NEXT! After this one I met a dude through a friend of mine who I thought was really nice, quiet thinker of a guy. Moved in with him after a month of meeting him. I KNOW! STUPID! Well after a few weeks of blissful happy families he sat me down and said heâd like for me to do something special for him that night. Me being very eager to please my dream man agreed and asked what it was that he wanted. Well. He wanted me to wee on him and if I felt like it to do a number two also. I think he realized from the frozen look on my face that it wasnât going to happenâ¦or was it the running out to vomit that gave it away? All the time I lived with him I thought it was really weird that he always hung around the toilet when I was in there. He ended up going back to his ex while I was still living with him (desperately trying to get out) and was trying to get me interested in a threesome. NEXT! | Ok - I'm back - their dinner is cooked - he's in the 'zone', got the hiccups - so he should be asleep soon!! lol... and it was pissed Neens. He's been moving stuff from our garage to the shed in the back yard. Then we will be able to get both cars in the garage!! So he's had the music on, a few beers, jumped in the pool to refresh half way through the day and has now for the recliner out and the eyes are having trouble staying open!!!! But hey - after reading your stories I'm very fortunate to have my man. Love him to bits and think of myself very fortunate that I found him when I was 15! Hope to catch you soon Neens on FB. | Hi Amy Congratulations on your new life! It's an exciting new life for you. My sister in law has just been banded as well; almost twelve months to the day after I was banded. She's lucky in a way because anytime she's got a problem she has someone nearbye she can ask. I sort of wish I had that when I was first banded but you've come to a great place...this is the second best thing to having someone living next door who just got banded. There are some fabulous people in this thread who are always willing to mentor and answer questions. Dont be shy...and why dont you find the "weight loss so far" post and add yourself to it. It's a great incentive to continue on those days when it all seems too hard. With warmest wishes Ellee |

| Hey Di Stop stressing about the book thing...life has a way of putting all your plans on the back burner. You just do what needs doing and get to it when you can. As for dating I'll write the readers digest version: Last year I discovered my partner (or so I thought) of 4 years was actually not separated from his wife but still very much married to her and living a complete double life. It all came unstuck for him when he crashed his motorbike and ended up in hospital with a badly broken leg. It also turns out he was lying about being a partner in a truck modification business, this came to light when he was fired!!!! I'm well out of that one. Then there was the guy I was seeing for nearly 6 months from Octobe last year...we met from the dating site RSVP...and agreed to enter into a monogomous relationship. Then I discovered his rsvp profile was still active and he was still looking for "other" women to date. Then there was the guy (this one is going back a few years) to when I was 35 and was dating a guy who told me he was 45. Turns out he was 54!!! Then he asked me to comit fraud so he could get a car he said was his mothers' transferred into his name. Then there was...ohh hell there's just too many to mention! But still I remain hopeful that dating will one day turn out to be just fun without the "oh I wonder when this one will start lying" thoughts going through my head. *shaking head* and wandering off to see if there's any easter eggs left....I'm kidding folks...I'm really going to eat a sausaged with some vegies for dinner. love and warm fuzzies to you all. | Pissed OFF or pissed? With the latter one, you've already had s e x he was too drunk to remember it and the missing $100 from his wallet...well you know nothing of it. | Hi Amy, from memory yes, you will be swollen from the gas that has been put into your abdominal area to make the op easier for the doc to perform. You might also get shoulder tip pain because of the same reason...mine lasted only a few weeks and wasn't bad at all, some people suffer rrom it longer. And congrats on 2 dress sizes, awesome!!! You guys are aware that we are mostly old farts here, banded a year ago? There is a thread called April 2009 bandits or something along those lines...in saying that it's fantastic to have you guys on board :-) Nina |

| Hi there roach_nancy, nice to meet you and congrats on the lifechanging op you've just had :) Aaaand well done on resisting the Easter treats, good girl! I've been really bad...shame on me...lol... What fantastic support you will have from your hubby, how has his journey been? Who is your doc? What advice I would give you at this stage is to rest and heal...weight loss will come soon, anything at this stage is a bonus. | Hey guys, Just thought I would introduce myself. Im Amy, im 22 and I am 3 days banded today. I was just wondering if anyone else is swollen from the op? Ive dropped weight (2 sizes yay!) but my tummy is bigger than ever, but slowly going down... did anyone else have this prob and know how to make it deflate lol... my graduation is on monday :) Amy |

| Hi, I was banded last thursday (just in time to resist Easter treats). Things are going really well, and I have a great mentor to guide me...husband was banded in Sept 07...we have the same surgeon.
