| Yeah Jen Next someone will be saying I'm chookle using a fake user ID to attack myself. Wlouise said in deleted threads that that I'm kate8toomuch because we have similar writing styles so I posted links to threads where kate is attacking me & she's encouraging Julie (scr appinghannah to attack me).I've seen on another Leanne thread EORALIN has posted today saying I created the thread at the very same time as my mother's funeral service & continued posting throughout the day, she's now as crazy as the others. SHEESH!!!! See Doreen, it doesn't take Einstein to work out that just because people have similar writing styles doesn't mean they are the ONE person. I'll RESPECT Doreen's thread when she shows me some RESPECT & apologises.If you apologised Doreen for attacking & HARRASSING me but actually meant it, & admitted you were wrong in assuming I was using a lap top to use fake user IDs to post messages on this board at my mother's funeral, I'd leave your boring thread alone. Doreen has insinuated that I had no RESPECT for my mother to be posting messages on here during her funeral service. And now she's posting to say "continue the rot else were" (sic) yet she started the ROT by accusing me of having no respect for my mother by saying I was posting messages at my mother's funeral service. Doreen the amount of fake user IDs you & others have accused me of being I would have been using eight fake user IDs all at the same time as my mum's funeral. I posted the details of the White Lady Funerals & my mother's name for you to check the service time etc but you chose not to, instead you preferred to continue making swipes at me so don't act so holy & righteous now. READ MY WORDS, I've holidayed twice in 6 weeks, the 1st time for three nights, the last time for 5 nights, I DO NOT OWN A LAP TOP - DIDN'T USE A LAP TOP TO POST FAKE USER IDs MESSAGES BECAUSE I WAS TOO BUSY TO THINK ABOUT FINDING A COMPUTER LET ALONE ACTUALLY USE ONE!!! |

As I said on one of the leanne's threads this morning, if you hadn't got so worked up because I made a simple tongue in cheek (joke) remark to you when you answered a question from me with a question "didn't your mother tell you never to answer a question with a question" neither of us would have sent each other nasty emails. You got so upset you instigated the nasty emails that were exchanged between us by sending me an unsolicited flaming email and as I said I'm quite happy to post the dates of those email exchanges showing yours is the first one. I also said that's why I like bringing up your family because I know it's a quick way of ruffling your feathers because you don't know when a joke is a joke. If you hadn't sent me that first email you and I wouldn't be such enemies although we wouldn't be as FOWL so loosely refers to the word "friends" either. Ditto Mel to your comment, just insert your name "unlike ... who never offers much support at all, unless you call poo tossing support". But then you must be aware you are a poo tosser because otherwise you wouldn't bore us with the up to the minute progress posts on your many plumber visits, your plumber must be rolling in money/poo having to continually sc rape so much poo of your walls and computer. |

I don't know what time the leanne_555 go_away thread was deleted but I posted messages on that thread for you and others as well as the Leanne's Proof thread. Doreen's was the last thread I posted on prior to bumping some information threads for others and then going to bed. This was the last thread I posted on prior to going to bed around 3am (not exactly sure) QLD time. In caps lock so you MIGHT understand NO THREADS HAD BEEN DELETED WHEN I WENT TO BED THIS MORNING YOU IDIOT so you saying I posted here because the leanne_555 go away had been deleted is ridiculous as usual. I'm just sorry I even bothered wasting my time responding to your moronic posts seeing as you obviously didn't read my responses to you. I even said that your posts weren't even worthy of a response and that in future I would be ignoring your posts so because I'm responding to this post today that means I'm almost but not quite as stupid as you. Whenever any reference is mentioned to the sh1t fights on this or any thread I will respond and copy and paste no matter who brings it up. Unlike you and Mel, Doreen finally understood that was the deal and I'll give her credit when credit is due, she finally got the message and put it in the past and carried on as normal until someone dragged it up AGAIN. | Doreen... many of us think diets work. Shame that the reality is the opposite. There are a few that can get the diet thing happening and keep the weight off... but they are far and few between from what I can gather. Mel |

| Leanne, I do give credit when it is due, and I do thank for the advice that has been given to me from MANY people here, yourself included. This is Doreen's thread and I popped in here to say hello, to congratulate and to thank her and her ONLY at this instance. Doreen, I find it really difficult to understand why someone would get money off relatives and lie about it, that's just terrible. I do hope she gets herself sorted out, but looks like she needs a lot more maturity and less selfishness to do that. Such a shame :-( I didn't even think about the school holidays and kids having WAAAAAY too much time on their hands, looks like we might need to do a lot of "ignoring". Nina |

| Food for thought : Do you know ,there are bandit ,wanna be's, **I had one ring me recently,after contacting me by email, she said she had told family about her lap band surgery to get financial,help,to help pay bills she had gallblader surgery and said it was (lap band surgery and wanted to come clean ) as she needs to visit family soon and has gained weight and expects her family will go angry at a surgeon who never operated on her, last time she gained weight she told family she needed rebanding and got money from them ,wasted it on other stuff and again dieted she told me ,all her info was gained ,via the computer and chat sites ,she had gallbladder surgery and saw family infrequently ,and they did not question her about it, Now she wants to get the surgery for real,and is saving ,sadly ,she has bipolar and does not work at present,so it is not going to be easy to afford , (my reason for adding this here) is that I am now more aware that Anyone could say they were banded here we would not know the difference Anyone could , cut and paste from a computer , stuff about banded life as anyone can google, we could all do it , When you think about it ,there are many who cannot afford this surgery ,and there are bandit ,wanna be's so ,anyone out there could say they were banded and cut and paste anything and we would be none the wiser Honestly ((even someone who has never been banded could make up anything about banding by googling ,some probably do ,honestly ,we would be none the wiser , ***my point in saying that is that to make others aware on this site people can write anything ALWAYS just read anything on chat sites as pure chat ALWAYS ,REMEMBER if you(( need Real advice)) Always check with a DR ,specialist etc sadly as this board is for everyone not just those we know ,are banded , we often get a lot of odd postings, school holidays are worst have a great day,Doreen |

| Leanne... the *poo* was created by you about three bloody years ago. You have been arguing with anyone and everyone for as long as I have been on these forums, which is three years this month. You are the poo tosser, no one else. Doreen, you have wonderfully successful with your band. Well done. I wish I could only have done half as well as you have. Keep it up. | Nina , Actions speak,when people lose well people ,like to ask how,they did it and if they did certain things this thread / site just says WHAT WORKED FOR ME Just remember there are many people who try and make the board run smooth and try and assist anyone with any thing they are struggling with , on here myself included myself ((((IF)))) I am not sure of something I always say to check with a Dr , also remember people may have been may have been banded a long time , but remember noone ,knows it all,(not even the DR's) lol, ALWAYS ,REMEMBER if you(( need real advice)) Always check with a DR have a great day ,Doreen |

| Nina There are many people apart from Doreen who have been giving "unbiased advice to everyone" on the board much longer than Doreen has been and I'm not referring to myself but the others who often get overlooked when one person is thanked. Myself being an "oldie" four years banded I prefer to receive advice from other "oldies" here or my own surgeon or dietitian because I have sometimes read Doreen give out unwise advice. |

The *poo* was created by Doreen when I was attending my mother's funeral, Doreen accused me at the same time as my my mother's service that I was using a fake Yahoo user ID to post messages about myself on here. | Doreen, you are what this board needs, unbiased advice to everyone, oldie or newbie. It is so much appreciated by us all looking for information and learning all about banding. I've been banded now for about 8 months and have lost 22kgs so far. Some might say it's slow but I'm thrilled :-) There has never been a diet in my life that has seen me loose this amount of weight, and I do wish this operation was made available for everyone who needs it. Because for me, it has been life-changing :-) I still have at least 25kgs to loose, but have given myself two years to do it. I'll get there! | Nina , I have seen you around thanks for your goodwishes , my thread is just based on things that worked for me these things may not always work for others but did for me , the thread was used by a few ladies as a guide of what to expect etc , Unfortunately with this being a public board I cannot control what is written here ,but I hope now ,things on this thread are back on track again hows your journey going ? stay happy and healthy,Doreen how's your journey been going |

| I was asked why I got a bit of fill out recently I had the .5 of a ml out as I was having trouble getting clothes again I was done 1/10/07 lost 45kg , and am size 8 and clothes size 8 are findable weighing less made clothes , hard to find funny,last time I had trouble finding decent clothes I was then in 22/24's ,Doreen |

| stopping ,yourself gaining after losing all your weight stop think if it is going out thats made you gain, if so ,maybe making sure you are full on protein ,before going out may help, anyways it is ok ,so glad you have noticed your gain, now you want to help yourself to lose again, so Time to get in control now ,you have come too far to go back You have spent heaps also, the surgery /clothes etc especially if you have had corrective surgery also, so do it for yourself ,before you regret it, stop think, how long since you had a fill, Remember you need to get a small one at least each 6 months ,for the rest of your life ,when you do lose again , Best to try following the 5kg rule , if weight goes up a size or you gain close to 5kg , it is a warning, it is fill time again , sometimes we just get a bit lazy,and relaxed , especially when we have lost well, I did this 4 times ,in 10 years Lost 40kg plus each time had tummy tuck etc , my problem was maintaining my band is now there and helping do that ,this time it will help maintain or help me keep within 5kg , good luck and congratulations on your loss ,Doreen height 157cm size 22/24 start 110kg :((BMI 44.63) banded (1/10/07) at 104 kg size ,mostly all 8's now :) ((((65kg bmi 26.4))) |

| julia , thanks julia ,the first weeks are hard (and often we gain before we start to lose) but once you have some restriction it gets easier a few more fills eating well avoiding liquid calories and a bit of exercise (gentle walking is fine) these things will see you ,too ,on your way to success remember weight did not go on overnight and if you lose too fast ,skin hangs ,so hang in and you will be sucessful this really is a lifetime commitment but a satisfying one ,lol, I have a earlier photo on my piczo site http://iamdoingit4me.piczo.com/?nsrc=picfl&friend= y&cr=1 my young daughter started it, by gave up , I am hopeless on comp so it has not much on it,sorry you may need to check if yahoo puts in spaces and a later photo is on my profile here that one was on 13/11/08 if you are in Brisbane area , I have a few full lenghth photos etc but hid from the camera a lot ,lol, if you want to meetup please just email me a phone no to call you , or if you want to ask anything offline by email my email is below ,chat soon,Doreen iamdoingit4me@yahoo.com.a u |

I am blown away by your success and was wondering if you have a blog or something with pictures of your journey that I could read/look at for inspiration? I have been banded 6 weeks and just had my first fill of 1.5mls which has not provided much restriction at all.
