| hi doreen this thread does not appear, it is just that i have it my favs that i can get to it. thanks for your words, not sure about the sweet spot just yet, as sometimes i feel i should have the band around my head lol one of the things that does help me here is not having the chocs and stuff in the house. great to be in double figures, not been there for sometime. hope this thread makes in back on the front page as i like your input as 'you did it',so well done. have fun dorotheyr |

| kerry , you may finally need some fill, maybe even 1ml may really make a difference , I have never had more than 3.5mls and that was too tight now have 2.5 in a 10ml small, funny how some have 10mls in the 10ml band yet we seem to need so little,but these bands can be fickle little buggers if over filled .25 of a ml made a huge difference for me ,it really is so different for everyone ,stay healthy Doreen |

| Hi Doreen, The weight is unfortunately at a bit of a stand still. To many xmas parties & celebrating only 1/2 a kilo last month. But I am pleased I didn't put any on I suppose that is the main thing. Jenny still didn't put in a fill. I think I will probably get one next time though. | Hi Doreen & others, I just picked up your thread off a post. I would like to wish you your family and everyone a very happy xmas and a safe, happy & healthy 2009. I too really look forward to our meet ups. I hope I can make the next one in the new year. | Good Evening ladies ,and thanks for the Xmas wishes.Lets hope that this lapband forum gets back to normal and is the fun and informative place it is meant to be.When I first started on this site looking to learn before I committed to banding'; everyone was so positive and the fighting didnt seem to be here .I didn't notice it anyway.It was this lapband forum that convinced me that banding was going to be for me...every diet I tried failed after a while...or should I say that I could not stick to them any longer.Probably the same as everyone else here I reckon.Anyhoo...even though we are all different and there is bound to be differences of opinions...let us get back to what we are all here for....to lose weight ..to become healthy and to get our lives back on track..I hope that one day a lot of us will get to meet each other through our common interest.It will be good to be able to maybe travel and know that at some town on our trip; there is a bandit that we can arrange a coffee meet or a get together with.I hope that will be true.I know that when my wife and I come down to Brisbane I will be contacting the Brissos to say g'day and at other areas as well.I don't mean to preach but I hope that this forum gets over this rubbish that has been getting worse and worse lately and back to being GREAT again. Anyhow..I hope that we all have a Merry Christmas and a Skinnier New Year and I look forward to following everyones new life and BANDING challenges. I have just started today ..4 weeks holidays;so I am as happy as a pig in #@%& if you know what I mean.I look forward to talking to all here soon . | chookle No I am not, I struggle to get on here , I am computer illiterate ,hate computers really ,and all the sh1t thats on the computer ,but sadly this was a way to contact others re banding I have met a lot of great people through it but as always you get the odd one that is really odd but the good out way the bad, so thats life I will live with it ,lol maybe I can convince the daughter to make one for me ,she is in sometime this weekend ,Doreen |

| hazel, I too have 7 surviving children and several foster children ,and lots of animals but sadly live in the city at present ,though ,I always lived on acreage as a child and would love to return , We are looking at a small acreage block again ,but convincing hubby is the problem lol, come back anytime no one gets pushed off here as we are friendly here ,well most of us are , just a ring in thats always unfriendly but do not stress over it as ,she is unfriendly to all the rest of us are friendly though , so if you are around drop by and say hi anytime ,Doreen |
