| Aly, Everyday when I wake up, I wonder what the day will bring, will I be able to eat, will I pb all day, will I get enough fluids in. I know my life should not be all about the band, but it is. And... I wouldn't have it any other way! Cheers... Mel |

| I'm so excited!! Had my first appointment today and my surgery is booked for 4th April!! My husband reckons that he has never seen someone so excited about surgery - but it's not just sugery - it's the beginning of a new life. Told my boss and he started asking more questions - about the band!! Then he approved my time off. It's great to be able to work from home - and have support around me at the same time. Can't wait and it's great to see a light at the end of a very ong tunnel. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Hi all, life as a bandit is very fickle, yesterday couldnt eat as a hair and nail tablet got stuck, I managed to dislodge it and all was fine until tea time- fried rice and spring roll, usually no problems.....tonight, no go, couldnt tolerate it, Go figure, unpredictable. Aly |

| Hi Dors...the answer is YES...problems are rare. And some people deem some things as problems when it's just part of having a band. People are more likely to talk about the bad than the good. Read the NSV thread, that's a whole lot of positivity. JenE |

| Hi All I'm still deciding! I was okay until I met some ladies in the waiting room today who had all experienced problems, some major complications. So now I'm not sure! From reading this website, sounds like I just copped a bad day at the waiting room - do others think complications are rare? Would luv to hear from others about to take the plunge? Dors |

| :) Hi Lizzy There are seperate threads on shoulder tip pain....and one for gas, but otherwise named something like xrated but they get lost in oblivian. If you could think of a creative name encompassing all of these things...go for it. Jenxx |
