| as above...I presume you have a child seat for the toilet, they often make little ones feel a bit safer than sitting on a big hole. I found giving the child a book or sitting talking to him while he was on toilet took away the stress factor. Unfortunately you often have to sit for a long time, but we all have done it. |

| Take note of his pooping times during the day. At those times put him on the toilet and praise him, you may have to sit with him for long periods of time. It is not easy, but if you are persistent on a daily basis he will finally get it. It took me a good fortnight of the same routine everyday but it works. However, mistakes will happen. Never be cross as he will get confused, make toilet time a grown up thing to do. |

| Has anyone got anything I can try? He will sit and do it in his pants but when it comes to me putting him on the toilet he won't do anything. Can anyone help me? |
