Hi,

I have tried hypoxi and i was really surprised. I myself was a sceptic but the place i do it was offering a special where i could try it for free before i bought it and to my surprise i lost 10 cm's in that first week.

I was a size 14 when i first started and now 5 months later i have shed 15kgs and am a size 8.

I would reccommend this to anyone but just to remember it isnt a miracle worker, i did eat healthy and walk on my off days just to keep things going...and drank lots of water rather than alcohol!!

I swear by this Hypoxi thing. I am a mum of 2 and before doing Hypoxi had a stomach that made me still look 6 mths pregnant. I dropped from a size 18 to a size 14 doing this - but don't get me wrong - it isn't a miracle cure - you still have to put in the effort.
I did the one for the tummies which involves a wetsuit and walking on a treadmill. But my nieces did the bike one. The eldest is 28yo and was a size 10 on top but a size 14 on the bottom, she now looks amazing - just bought herself a size 8 maxidress!! And the youngest one has lost over 20 kilos this year doing this!! Trust me people - give this a go!

In my own personal experience Hypoxi works. I am a 33yo male that weighed just over 100kg. I have tried a few things in the past expecting miracles (like a gym and a couple of different diets). I would lose a little bit of weight and put it back on. I went to Hypoxi, it isn't a miracle cure to lose weight. You still have to work. But it definately makes it easier. I did two packages of Hypoxi (Vacu-naut), walked most nights,, became more active in general and followed the food suggestions that my Personal Trainer at Hypoxi gave me. In two months I got down to my goal weight of 88kg. I now do personal training at my Hypoxi outlet twice a week and am now fitter and a good healthy weight.
Again if your expecting miracles you probably need to see a plastic surgeon. Hypoxi IMO makes it easier & quicker to lose the weight and if you get the right Hypoxi they will teach you how to sustain that healthier lifestyle.

Re:Hypoxi - anyone heard of it? Reply to this message
I always look to the internet for answers.

But I am sick of people who are part of a business comment on someones question by promoting their products and saying it's amazing.

I look up acne cures, (by the way the best way to get rid of this is GO SEE A DERMOTOLOGIST) I have probably spent 3 grand on my face. But it is soo worth it. My Confidence in myself is so much better.

But I always try and find new beauty treatments etc.

My latest one is my legs, I have horrible knees and not massive thighs but not toned or nice looking in shorts for when spring comes along.

Diet and exercise is great, although it is winter and it's hard to keep to it.

So I am going to try Hypoxi tonight. I did try it before (about a month ago) only did one session cuz I couldn't commit. Although now I will pay a full amount so I will have to commit. When I tried it the first time, I could see my cellulite (although I don't have sooooo much but it's still very much there) disappear a little. I had a very noticeable deep dimple on my bum cheek that I HATED and it kinda became non existant (but now it is back due to my very unhealthy eating habits in the past month)

ANYWHO, I'm going back this evening, then thursday then Saturday. I will post how it goes.

I am 23 years old and a size 10. bordering size 12 in some pants. I do exercise and look good. BUT I NEVER WEAR A BIKINI (nor have I since I was 12 maybe). Cuz I have very stubborn fat under my bum and the tops of my legs. Hopefully this works. Cuz if it doesn't I don't know what else I can resort too. Pretty sure something else claiming it is 'amazing' will pop up though =*(

Also I am very healthy. I do eat alot of good foods, inc fish fruit and veg but I eat alot of sweets (cakes, biscuits, chocolate)

Started as of today. I am not having caffeine, chocolate (and I haven't had a drink for 8 weeks)

Just giving you the idea of what I am doing in my life if it does work for me but doesn't for U!

I have just done 9 sessions with hypoxi and just heading to my tenth. I have booked for twelve but so far, there has been absolutely no change at all. I have photos to prove my lack of progress. I really believed this would work for me and am very disappointed so far. I am generally fit, exercise every day and eat well( but still need to lose 5kg). I was doing it more for cellulite reduction. Maybe I need more than 12 sessions. Or maybe just save my money and go on a diet.

Actually it's not a scam. I was working out with a personal trainer- working very hard and eating well. I just could not shift the weight around my hips, bum and thighs. I searched the net for weight reduction & cellulite reduction. I didn't want something that did not involve exercise. I believe no results are obtained unless you work hard for them. I was 24 yrs old and a size 14. So not huge but found it hard to shift those last few kgs. I saw Hypoxi mentioned in a Vogue forum and thought 'why not' (how a lot of my decisions are made these days!!) so I joined Hypoxi and got a 12 session pack. By the 8th session I'd love 26cms around my hips bums and thighs and after the 24th session (I got 2 packs ie 2 x 12 packages) I'd lost 56cms around my hips, bum and thights. I was preparing for my wedding and the designer who made my dress couldn't believe the weight i'd lost (Not to imagine the pain of going through taking it in every time I had a fitting!!). I do not have a business so I am not promoting one. I am an ordinary customer and it's not I found out about it. I think it would be a fantastic business opportunity though as it works and the results are amazing. I am living proof!!

i have tried hypoxi, it is so worth it.
You do it 3 times a week for a month for 30 mins a sesh and you get really hot and sweaty and feel a suction vacuume on your tummy.

i felt lighter, less fluid on my legs and after a month i was measured and lost 5 cm off my bottom, 6 cm off my stomach and about 3cm off each leg.
check it out. It works as it is actually exercise.
I also noticed my bottom was more perky and waist alot more sculpt.

Hello

We have just opened a new HYPOXI studio in Sunnybank Hills Brisbane. I tried HYPOXI myself after seeing it on today tonight. It was 3 months after having our first baby. I was still wearing my maternity clothes. I just could not lose the baby weight. And having a baby with you 24/7, it was hard to find any time for myself. That is why Hypoxi appealed to me because it was 30min 3 times a week. After 12 sessions I lost all my baby weight and was back into my old clothes.

At our studio we have 3 Hypoxi machines. The new S120, Vacunaut and HD Massage. We offer new clients free trials on the machines. If you live in Brisbane check out our web site www.bodycurves.com.au

Trust me, this does work!

I used to have pretty bad cellulite which only got worse after I get pregnant. I had it mostly around my inner thighs and bottom and a bit on my tummy as well. I tried eating more healthy food and did a lot of exercise as well which friends and family members recommended but my skin was still lumpy and floppy. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed to have got rid of her cellulite by using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked pretty well. It took a couple of weeks but my skin had improved a lot and I managed to get rid of my cellulite completely. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below:

Re:Hypoxi - anyone heard of it? Reply to this message
Just reading about it now - it sound like another scam.

I've seen no evidence it makes a difference if to normal exercise.

I suspect they get the lazy element who don't work out that often, then claim any result is due to the machine.

They also tell you not to eat carbohydrates for a period after exercise. This would help you lose weight anyway.

Here is a quote from askmen.com.
http://au.askmen.com/sports/bodybuilding/22_fitnes s_tip.html

"...but most have a layer of body fat hiding them, (muscles). Removing this layer is going to be about 90% dietary effort and 10% exercise".

Body builders already know this, which is why the use special diets to make their muscles prominent.

There is this page,
http://bodylab.com.au/site/hypoxi/science, which is quite hilarious as it doesn't give much evidence and keeps referring to "circumference".

Well if you reduce your salt intake you will lose water and therefore weight and "circumference". It is possible to determine how much fat the body is actually burning while exercising.

Anyway, a big marketing push is on = http://www.inboxmarketing.com.au/Latest/Hypoxi-Bod y-Shaping.html

The use of pseudo-scientific language and testimonials and impressive looking machines is a clear sign this is purely marketing.

Save your money, buy a pair of shoes or bike, and take the dog for a walk, watch your diet.

Having said that, I expect this wasn't a genuine question, but just another way to generate talk about the product.

In fact, looking at the posts again, it seems the questioner answered his own question, (within minutes!), telling us,
"Yes, we have three studios in Brisbane called body designers..." ROFLMAO

And the other posters...bleh, what sycophancy!

Anyway, don't be sucked in.

Yes, we have three studios in Brisbane called body designers. Check out our website for locations and call 1300 884 351 to book sessions. We are the only company in Brisbane with the Vacuanaut machine and one of the only ones with the S120.
Both work very effectively and you can talk to one of our friendly staff about the results of some of our customers.

Hello there Shrinking Violet,

Yes you are very right, the HYPOXI system is amazing. I'm very happy to say that yes, it is now available in Australia through HYPOXI Australia - www.hypoxi.com.au. Currently there are clinics in Melbourne and Sydney, however they are expanding and looking for clinics to take advantage of this amazing equipment.

Hypoxi - anyone heard of it? Reply to this message
Hi there,

I have just returned from the UK where everyone is talking about this fat and cellulite reduction treatment. It couples exercise with a vacuum therapy and people over there swear that it works. Robbie Williams has purchased his own machine because he believes it it so much. I am always very skeptical about these things, but everything i have read (and it has been a lot) says that it is the most effective cellulite and fat burning treatment around. I am interested to see if anyone has actually used it as you can't always believe what you read. If you want further info i went to www.vacunaut.co.uk
I have heard it is now available in oz.
