You are probably gaining weight from the steroids you are on to control your flares, and not solely food intake

I urge you to look at beanafter.info and
ritediet.info

As a weightloss and wellness consultant and I'm happy to work with you and your mum to get you on the right track.

Hi brony, i have tried optifast and it worked for me, that was 2 yrs ago.
Its one of the better shakes around and it tasted ok, well i got used to it after 2 days.
I had it for breakfast and lunch then had a normal dinner at night.
After the first week it was so easy to do, i lost 16kg in nearly 2 and a half months, and i never had bread or pasta.
I was a big girl at your age, and i know how you must feel.
I hope all goes well for you, take care!

I am 16 and have a bmi of 41 i weigh 90kg and have crohns disease, this is meant to cause weight loss but over the past 7 months (since diagnosis) i have gained 20kgs. I want to lose 25 kgs and have spoken to my doctor who says i need to exercise, but i swim for 2 hours every day (i cant walk too long due to medication effects) i eat right because my condition requires a strict diet to keep me out of hospital. i think the reason i am not getting better is because of my weight, my whole family is big and it is in my genes.

I have spoken to my mum and she said she would do the optifast with me, and i will kick up my excerise to an extra 2 hours of a morning as well as night. i need to lose the weight by august next year (12 months).

i have read up about it and it will interfere with my medication and we have the money for it.

any words of wisdom and advice, please dont talk me out of it though because i am going to do it. just want to know your experiences
