Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
I was on this drug for 3 months and thought i was losing my mind.
I am an ex-primary school teacher plus have managed my own business for 7 years, so am normally very switched on mentally and in control of my emotions.....so i found the side effects of taking this drug very scary.
My partner thought he was with a completely different woman while i was taking this drug and i worried i had a brain tumour or schizophrenia or something equally debilitating. I have not had any prior mental health issues.
I became overwrought, emotional, depressed then manic, angry, fixated, obsessed, irrational, argumentative, easily irritated, moody, paranoid - plus i couldnt sleep which didnt help with any of the above. I did have extra energy, but wasnt able to use it productively.
Once i stopped taking the drug my partner & I had several sessions with a mental health worker to help understand what the H*ll had happened and to deal with the withdrawal sypmtons. It took another 5 weeks for the withdrawal symptons to leave my body.
This drug took a great toll on my wonderful relationship with a fabulous man and now 4 months after recovering we are just as strong as before...but i still bear the scars of shame and embarrassment.
I only lost 3 kilos in those few months and as typical of any weight loss fad i have regained those kilos and more.
Please please please research this drug thoroughly before taking it perhaps ring the Drug and Alcohol Board to find out more.
By the way I was prescribed this drug by a doctor, without being given much caution so I thought it fairly safe. The pamphlet inside the box, in my opinion, gives a very soft view of the side effects.
My experience may not be your experience, but i write this in the hope that you will at least please make a more informed decision than just relying on the packet information and a busy uninterested doctor.

Smiles
Yours in being healthy
Bella

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
It really amazes me how people whom have never had a weight problem seem to think it is no big deal, or some of them just think you stuff yourself continually.....
I really hope -amstaffluva- you can find a DR that will let you have a try of D-Uramine, surely everyone should be able to try this way if their health permitts it.....

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
i know what you mean. yeh xenical is the stuff that makes you literally poooo yourself if you eat too much 'fat' , so no thanks. yeh i was 72kg in 04 and happy. then 05 had bub#1 gained 30kg!! dropped back down to 80 which i could live with, then fell pr with #2 in 07 and gained the 20kg back again!! this time i cant seem to shed it. exercise evryday yada yada, but i cant seem to budge from 95 and its starting to get quite depressing to say the least..

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
Hi amstaffluva- maybe try another GP, perhaps even a male, some people Drs included just can't seem to understand where your head is at when you are struggling with your weight....
xenical? I am not sure what that actually is? Is it the med that makes your body reject fats?
I find with the D-Uramine that it seems to speed your metabolism as well suppress your appetite....
But then I am only just about to finish the 1st month, still 2 more months to go after that cold turkey so I guess I better not count my chickens... However I feel much more determined this time of trying to drop my weight....
I dropped about 30kgs about 8yrs ago with no drugs etc, just diet & exercise, then I had our son 6yrs ago, daughter almost 3yrs ago & have never gotten back to where I once was very happy!

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
yeh prescription only in aus. my gp is a skinny beetch who doesnt believe in prescribing *** to help me. even though she weighed n measured me, im 30kg overweight with a BMI of 30!! she was however suggesting xenical, to which i refused. so she basically told me to just keep trying..

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
I have been on D-Uramine 30mg for about 3 weeks now, it has certainly knocked my appetite on the head, I feel a lot better seem to have lost a considerable amount of flab... I will not use scales to check though because if I start checking weight etc it just does my head in, I get so damned depressed over what I actually weigh that I cease eating altogether!
I thought that you could only get it on precristion because of the side effects etc that it can cause?
The posters whom are asking where to get it without prescription, are you not scared that you shouldn't actually be taking it?
As far as I was lead to believe as well you should not stay on it for anylonger than 3 months, it is very hard on your liver & kidneys, or am I just being fed BS?
I would say I am at least 40kgs overweight, but I do know that I cannot loose that with these pills completely, what these pills are doing for me is convincing me that I CAN exist on a lot less food than I was before....
I really hope that it works for both myself & any others whom have weight issues, to me being unhappy with your obesity go hand in hand with depression, it feels like you have 2 monsters constantly chasing you.....

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
This is obviously an O/S website? No aussie site would supply *** without a script. Is is the actual brand D-Ura or is it just Phen- Termine? I've been on *** a few times is what you get from the net feel the same?

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
As far as I was led to believe it it legal to buy up to 3 months supply off websites with no script(anymore is considered supply to sell) and will be confiscated by customs. My orders have always been checked and passed by customs. As stated by others it is hard to find trustworthy sites and prices are extreme once you pay in U.S dollars and it is also a pain in having to have a visa card. I have personally found no problems so far with the site I am using

hi I've taken duramine a few years ago and great results,I had to get a script ,can you now buy duramine in Australia without a script ? $85 is a great price I recall paying $120 at local chemist.I'm thinking of taking duramine again as I've been a little self-indulgent.Would love to hear from anyone in Australia that has bought duramine....great product.

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
Hi there
Just thpught I would add to this post. I have used *** initially 15mg and then 30 mg!
I definitley lost alot of weight on them and quickly and at first had so much energy i thought they were amazing.
2 years later I took them again after the initial 4 months.
I took the next lot for 4 months and had a huge lot of health problems doctors say are related to taking them.
I was always one thinking they are ok and just wanted an easy fix to weight losss, now i am expereincing anxiety and panic attacks and trouble with urination etc...
Massive mood swings, so in then end i am bigger than what i started with health problems associated too so not worth it in the end all i suggest if you are going o do it then really make sure you every month check blood pressure and etc with your doctor, my doctor didnt and that could have been the problem!
So only stick on it for 3 months and thats it and always ensure you eat right cause they seem to made me forget to eat at all exceptional appetitie suppressant.
Anyways hope that you do well with weight loss but just be careful and pay attention to your body.. I didnt and i am paying the price

Re:D-Uramine Reply to this message
Go to another doctor. I got sick of begging my doc for them so went to another one and he gave me the 40 mg ones which I desperately needed.
If my old doctor had given them to me I wouldn't have added the 16 kgs UNDER HIS CARE.
When you're overweight you don't have the energy dragging around andother 53 kgs over your normal weight.
Depression is a big thing too.
If you don't feel good you can't get into the up mode that lets you lose weight.
Try and drink over 3 litres of water a day as it fills you up too.
Duramine makes me feel better now because I am moving about.
Make sure you eat loads of fibre or you will get mega constipation and think you are giving birth to a brown baby through your backside!!!!
That article on the first page isn't there any more.
Anyone copy it???
