| Hi wallea00, thanks, I think I'll probably stay the same this week too but your right much harder with the 2 kids & hubbies around. I've dumped the rubbish this morning ALL IN THE BIN and am back ok today. Headaches I was getting last week were from genuine hunger so you have to listen to your body & eat at regular intervals. Apart from "sweetie" weekend , I'm doing ok too. Got 2 months script today. Hope that's all I need. Good luck |

| Hi jamie, i suffered from terrible headaches the first 2 days but they went away then. The prob with me is that i would normally have suffered from headaches before when i was hungry so my body prob was hungry the first few days on the reds and i didnt realise! I sometimes get hot flushes still but apart from that and the dry mouth, i dont seem to have any other side affects and im on them almost 5 weeks now. Have u just started them? Best of luck on your journey!! |

Hi Hillbilly,
I too have not had a great week but I am going to try and get back into it tommorrow. I havent gained any weight though. Work is an absolute nightmare at the moment. Between work, two children and my husband I have become a little lazy with what I am eating.
I just would love to lose a little more before Christmas.

Not good but am back trying think it might be easier with the kids back at school this week & the hubby back at work. I have a better routine on my own. |

hi..
i heard of reductil via a good friend.who has had great results.she has been on it now for 2 weeks and has lost about 3.5 kgs!
soo i decided to go in it to lose a few kgs and to get a bit of extra energy!..
however i have been on only 10mg for 3 days now and to tell you the truth havent noticed any majour difference.
perhaps a litlle extra energy and some anxiety.but that is about it.also slightly less of an appetite.
i can feel it wearing off around the evenig time and start to get hungry.this was my weak point anyway.
soo im not really happy so far with the results..and think maybe i should go on the 15mg dose.
does anyone have any good tips?? as im frustrated so far and think ive been given the raw end of the stick!..for some it is not soo effective..
is this true???...oh!..i hope it will work!..
let me know what u all think!? i want some results quick and now..!as i said.. it'll be my 4th day tomorrow!..give me the strength..soo far not impressed!... |

Hey, I told the doctor that I wanted to lose some weight (as i've put on about 10 kgs since the start of the year) He said to try reductil and gave me the 10 mg - what is the difference between the 10 and 15mg?
At the moment I weigh 65kgs and have been on the pill for 2 weeks, how much is everyone losing per week about? I would really like to lose weight before summer!
Thanks heaps :) |

hey A
I'm yet to mention the feeling hungry scenario to my doc, must be normal i guess to feel this way every now and again..do u notice a difference between 10 and 15mg?
As for the weight loss, well its now between 12 and 13, but yes apparently this is meant to be a good loss for such a short period of time...i went to the store the other day to buy some dog food and picked up a 12kg bag and it wasn't till then when it hit home, to think i was carrying such weight(shakes head)as for noticing yes, but not in the way that i would like to notice, maybe another 12kg then I'll be over the moon and start feeling as positive as you are feeling now...all those yrs being at home inactive playing the father/mother roll to my 3 kids i guess has physically took it's toll, well the kids are getting older now and im still 41 and need to get back into shape...maybe go find that other woman that's out there just waiting 4 me..lol
whenever i feel like having a sugar buzz i have those weight watches choc moose, yogurt, jelly strawberries only when they are cheap,i should grow my own, i stay clear of all those junk foods now and cook after work, grrrr, need to teach one of my daughter how to cook make it easier. i dont smoke either anymore, nor do i drink anymore...i dont trust myself around junk foods, as like u i would have no control lol
i still have a long way to go i need to lose atleast another 20kgand and then i would be able to finally see that lite at the end of the tunnel.
well, i need to get ready for another day in the dungeon, hopefully i can make the most out of it and lose some more grams by the end of the week.
see ya on my next update, sunday

| Hi Adamkelly, and everyone! Had my first weigh in with doc today, down 8kgs in 4 weeks, now at 84kgs...really happy with that. I started second prescription today, still on 10mg... i also have p this week, its def a mans world. Its hard enough battling to lose weight without feeling bloated and feeling horrible for one week a month!!! Im off to Amsterdam on a weekend break so im not going to be too hard on myself. plan on doin alot of walking while im there so hopefully i wont do too much damage. How are u finding the 15mg? Have u started them? Oh and well done on being down the stone, great achievement, you should be very happy hun!! |

Hi Kimberley
Yea im the same always put on a few pounds around that time of month, finding im picking at stuff yesterday and today, mostly jelly's for the sugar, feel so guilty when I have done in, they are sugar free in fairness and the this is the first time iv done it since I started the tablets, have to not buy them again, find when I have them in the car I just eat and eat and eat, so note to myself" JUST DONT BUY THEM", feel like iv wasted this week, so fingers cross i get back on track ...

Hi wallea,
Just to let you know.. EVERY month around the 'special' time I put on minimum of 1kg! Its so disheartening and I get so strict on myself.. which is awful because Im already in pain and emotional! hahaha!
Just keep focused and dont fall off the wagon during this time. I got so crabby the first month I let myself go and then that kilo from the 'P time' stayed! The last two times Ive worked really hard through it and now I pretty much lose weight once its finished. Although it still gets me angry every month! heheh |

Hi wallea
yea im feeling very good mentally and physically.I dont feel like im doing good this week, feel a very bad craving for sugar, but due my period so it could be that, wont weight for two weeks let me get over this hurdle becuase If I see a gain I will lose heart, yea going to change to 15mg, I suppose we can lose weight evey week and its hard when you dont, but some times the following week that was what use to happen to me in weight watchers all the time some weeks I would lose nothing and the following week I would lose half a stone..

Hi there shadow
I havent actually spoke to my doctor about feeling hungry I just rang and asked for a repeat script and to up it to 15mg and he did, he know we well and understand my struggle with my weight so dont think he has a problem with me taken the strong doese.
13kilo is fantastic weight lose and you must be feeling really good and proud of yourself, can you notice the weight lose yourself? I can its great that I can see it, but most of all i can feel it and people are commenting that I am more postive about myself so good all around, this week feel like im doing as good and havent been as strict with myself, but still not eating junk or crips or choc.. they were my down fall, I could not just have one packet of crisp I would have to have the six pack so four weeks n no junk, its like given up smoking for me...keep up the good work, how much more do you want to lose?
Chat soon
p.s Im in sunny Ireland ( yea that is a joke, it never stops raining haha) |

Hi all, Ive decided not to take the tablets anymore, yes I'm very disapointed. But I couldnt handle the side effects. My son said to me this morning that the past week Ive been so mean to him.
The slightest repetitive sounds would set me off, even the tv, or stereo being to loud. The computer in in the same room as the playstation, I couldnt even handle that. So i didnt take it today, I do feel better, no tingles. Bit spacy still. i just got back from the health food shop and bought some nautral suppressants. I wish everyone good luck in there weight loss journey,
Cheers |

| hi, just thought i'd share this! ive been on reductil now for 6 weeks...it should be longer but at 5 and a bit weeks i stopped taking my tablet because i was sick and i didnt want to waste them when i was laying around too sick to do anything..but anyway..i started taking them again 3 days ago(10 mgs) and i feel like they are working better for me now then they did when i took them for the first ever time....my appitite has almost gone..im not getting dry mouth nearly as bad and i just feel better! so if you feel like the reductil is losing effect on you a bit maybe you could stop taking it for a few days then start again! it might be different for others but for me its worked great!! |
