Hi everyone,
its me again, i'm sorry but i really want to know whether anyone is losing a lot of hair from reductil after a month or so. Is it going to stop, and am i going to end up with bald patches? I know that hair lost can be a side effect, but how much hair loss is normal, bc i am definitely losing more than usual. |

Reductil does suppress your appetite for up to 4-6 hours following a single Reductil 15mg dose the active ingredient in Reductil is sibutramine that works onneurotransmitters in the brain to produce a feeling know as satiety or feeling full while you are eating less.
You should take Reductil for 4-6 weeks and then take a break for 2-3 weeks and begin the Reductil again. Just be careful what you eat during the 2-3 weeks. Otherwise the appetite suppressant capabilities of Reductil will not be as effective.
I have lost some 15 pounds over the last 2 months I feel really healthy. You can visit www.reductil.co.uk for gerneral information on Reductil including any potential side effect or who can safely take Reductil and who should not take Reductil.
Take Care,
Sam |

Hi All,
I've crossed the "180lbs" target point on Day 39!
Now a new problem appeared: I started to think about food again. It's been 3 or 4 days and the junk food is in my mind, I'm not feeling hungry though.
While the gym was moved and renovated its a bit far from my office now, which cut my exercise time (to remind everyone, I workout in lunchtime on normal weekdays, I have to work) that my weight is slowed down in dropping. I'm worried if a plateau just came. More, every day I felt nervous and anxious for like 2-3 hrs after the pill.
Must find ways to improve!
My 2nd target would be 170lbs. For the 5 failed attempts in losing weight this is the point I can't get through. So this time I'd set it 170, then 160.
Gd luck, everyone! |

Hello All
Ive now been on Reds for 8 weeks. I get weighed every 6 weeks so I do not obsess on the scales (and that method has worked fabulously, that what I have ever done before).
Well I've lost 9.4 Kilos in 12 weeks, since I began exercising and weights... which is a combination of short bouts of High Cardio, Longer for Low Cardio (Walks) and weights. I have found doing weights is toning me as I lose the weight. With using the Reds my trainer and doctor has said it is certainly a major contribution. Especially as I just drink sooo much water due to the dry mouth.
With the Reds I find taking it early in morning so I expect to get a dry mouth... which means if I drink lots and lots of water in the morning. I find once I drink close to 2litres of water the dry mouth is gone for the rest of the day. And of course any extra water I drink is a great addition.
My trainer also said that when we exercise we should always aim to drink at least an extra litre of water on top of the 2 litres per day, as it stops our body from dehydrating etc.
My starting weight was: 111 kilos.
Good Luck everyone xoxo |

Hi Everyone..
Well it's day 7 here and i have lost 1.1kg. I would have liked to have lost a little more but a loss is a loss. I have had no side effects what so ever which i'm stoked about. Although today i felt hungry all day but i stopped myself and stuck to my 3 meals.
I'm hoping next week i lose a little more, might try fit in a bit more exercise and drink more water hopefully that will do the trick.
Anyway congrats to everyone that lost weight this week and i hope you all continue on this journey until you reach your goal weights :) |

please ignore other post I didn't explain it very well i'll try again here
Hi everyone.....
I've been reading lots of posts on here and there is so many ppl saying that they hardly eat anything and they are not losing weight. Well this is how it was explained to me by my doctor
your matabolism is like a fire. If you don't put enough sticks on it it will go out and if you put a big log on it is will smother it and it will go out so you just keep putting only little sticks to keep it burning so it won't go out. Your small sticks are your small meals.
He said eat small healthy meals often. I've been eating 3 small meals and 3 snack a day. I've lost 3.6kg in 6 days.
I try to have a little protien with my meals and eat fruit and yoghurt and crackers for snacks.
I hope this helps. Don't stop eating its the worst thing you can do for your weight loss.
Cheers

Gemma,
Thanks :)
I'm feeling better today than I was 5 days ago, alot more optimistic and positive about things, so I'll fake it 'til I make it :p
Another well done from me on your 4th week and loss so far!
Reading through everyones posts really helped me decide to try Reductil and I'm so glad I did. It's by no means easy- but I was so miserable by that point I really needed something to help me break my bad habits, and Reductil-along with following this post-is certainly helping me do that.
I'm too chicken to get on scales yet- don't want to be discouraged, but my pants are noticeably looser already so I'm very happy with how it's all going so far.
The only side effect I'm having is having to run to loo all time (all that water!) otherwise it's all fine.
Take care xx |

Gem,I sure hope my confidence comes back..I've put off so many things because of my big weight gain.I avoid getting intimate with partner..I've also put off finishing my B.A, as I was so miserable about what I look like..couldn't handle the thought of it..never mind the nightmare of trying to find clothes to wear every day!
However, I start back at Uni on Tuesday.I'm nearly 35..got to get going again.
I figured I'll let them all see me like this..I have no choice. But I'll work really really hard to lose the weight and surprise everybody :)
I hope all is going well for you-and to everybody else. all the best and keep at it :) |

Hello again and thanks for your hello gem,(neenie I got your emeil,thanks-I'll look into it)
Day 4 for me and my pants are already getting loose around my waist- I am so very very happy that I started Reductil.
No interest in sweets,junk- I'm keeping busy and not thinking about food much at all, really.
I have not told ANYBODY (apart from you all)that I'm taking Reductil..same old- my partner would just say"waste of money" and 'friends' would say"you don't need it-just eat less" or(worse)"you look really good, why are you worrying about it".But worst of all they'd think I'm cheating, lol. But as you all know,it still takes effort.Keeping busy, refraining from snacking, eating healthy low cal,low fat food-cut out all salt, sugar etc.
So it's my secret.Bu&$er them,lol.
No headaches,no dry mouth.3 litres of water a day.Sleeping fine. |

| hey patto, dont lose hope however, i ve been on reductil 3 months as well and only lost 7.5 kgs now it s been 3 weeks that i did ot loose at all!!! however i went to the doc and told me to stop them for 6 weeks and than start again. so i stopped them but i feel great and i have my hope up that next thursday when i measure myself i would have drop some cm hopefully. keeping my fingers crossed. the thing is that i think my body adapted to them and i also suffered form constipation. its been 5 days that i did not take reductil and i ve been goin to the toilet everyday :)lol so i think that the doc was right sometimes its better to stop for a while and start again. in the meantime i am still eating healthy food and doing exercise (if not more than i was on reductil) because i do not want to gain weight in these 5 weeks that remain). so maybe you could stop them for a few days and then try again and see if there is a difference. good luck and remember you are not alone. :) |

Hi
Has anyone else had problems with their skin on their face since taking this? It's on my jawline, kinda feels like a rash but doesnt look like it but the skin is rasied and a little bumpy and dry. I am off to docs later but thought i would ask if this is something someone else has had or if it's coincidence and i need to look at other things? |
