| Hi Everyone, You guys are all doing so well. Keep up the great work guys. I have a question for you? Would anybody have any problem with my joining your forum. I am not on reductil, but have been reading your posts for the last few weeks from the beginning (when i debated whether to use it or not) decided against it mainly due to the cost and having tried so many other pills over the years including duramine. Have looked into other weight loss forums, but u guys are so supportive of each other, so even tho it sounds silly joining when i"m not on reductil we're all in the same boat, wanting to lose weight eh? One more thought anybody out there on a plateau or wanting a tip: Have any of you tried cider vinegar and honey? Have been on this for 2 days and lost 2 kgs, mostly water probably but will wait and see. Sorry for long post. Keep up the great work and remember: Nothing tastes as good, as looking good feels. |

Hey Need to lose
Im really well, stopped losing weight for the time, I think probably due to not exercising as much been housesitting and busy with family
My one downfall is I never stop thinking about losing weight, maybe if I relaxed it wouldn't be so difficult lol Dubai was awesome but Egypt even better, it really changed my whole life- or maybe I was just really ready to let go of baggage and start a fresh new lease on life a little of both perhaps,I loved Egypt I cannot wait to go back there
That is so exciting that you are planning a family! I will send lots of positive thoughts your way.. I am looking forward to hearing some good news from you soon .. send me an email at ladysarebear@yahoo.com I check that more regularly than here these days..
Sorry for my late reply, I keep getting tied up with other stuff.. I look forward to hearing from you soon with hopefully good news!! I will always be a keyboard away if you ever need motivating!!! :) |

HI Bern
I was starving for the first week. It was like my body was burning up everything I put into it. Stick with it though it gets better. Now rarely get hungry and fill up quickly and i'm on my end of week 12. My first 4 weeks I lost 8kg. I hope this helps
Goodluck

| @ dvlish 1au: Thanks for your concern & advice. However in my case, and I'm sure others will agree, the decision to take Reductil was reached after having tried many many times to lose weight and failing. You see, sometimes, the healthy eating combined with daily exercise route, is simply not enough to rid oneself of all the extra weight. And I'll explain why using myself as an example. One of my main downfalls is (was) a constant urge to snack, especially at night watching tv and at my office desk. Trying to use will power alone led to frustration and inability to focus on anything other than food. I used to think about food all the time, e.g. what I'd look forward to eating when I left the office, etc. Since Reductil helps control appetite, I find that I can finally concentrate on other things and food has finally taken a secondary role. Even my performance at work has improved since I'm not constantly trying to suppress hunger. This feeling of not having to suppress hungry cravings definitely puts one in a better frame of mind to tackle weight loss in a more positive manner... not to mention the huge energy boost I get which allows me to exercise more. This is my second month on Reds and although I haven't lost an incredible amount (nearly 6kgs) I feel that I've retrained my body to avoid snacking and maybe when I get off them, my appetite would have decreased sufficiently to allow me to continue with having just 3 small meals a day with nothing in between. And to be quite honest, I doubt that I'll be depressed once I stop the Reds, because honey if I lose the weight, I'll be on a natural high all day long. : ) |

im glad you peple are trying to be healthier
but unless you are bed ridden or have medical problems preventing exercise drugs are a bad method for weight loss!
*reductil alters the levels your serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain!
anti-depressents also alter the levels of serotonin
and studies show it temporarily increases but drops below normal levels when stopped!
all drugs can have side effects
subtle diet changes & smart ones combined with increase in exercise can make a difference!
i hope your weight loss efforts are rewarded whatever the method but please be careful & think first! |

Hi there,
Just want to say what a great pill this is!!! I'm on the 15mg and have lost 5kg this month. It's only my first month but at least I'm seeing results!!! I don’t know if this is the only pill you are taking but my doc prescribed me Xenical with the Reductil. The Xenical is a vat absorbent pill that helps your body not to store any fat. Everyone will eat something wrong some or other time and this pill really help!!! It gets rid of ALLLL the fatty food that your body might keep inside. The only bad thing is that your doc has to prescribe it. I also spoke to a lady at the chemist and she said there is nothing better than Xenical taken together with Reductil to help you reach your goal. Keep strong ladies!!! :) I’m 5 down, now I need to get rid of the other 25… ïŒ |

Thanks M'Lou and Sarah!
And congratulations to you both for your losses! I'm so happy M'Lou that you managed to drop a dress size! I too have had to go to my seamstress to have a dress which I had bought in December taken in a whole dress size! However it's mainly upper body i'm losing from - face, bust and upper stomach and waist. Have to work harder on the rest!! |

hey tig, sarah, everyone
first of all happy easter. sarah im 20 but i am on the 10mg. when i told my doc to give me the 15mg (because i was loosing very little) she told me that the 15mg are for those that have a lot of weight to lose. i was astonished that she did not give me the 15mg since i have 15kgs more to lose. i already lost 9kgs in this 6 months period with the 10mg. i know it is very slow but i guess thats how my body reacts. i am trying to shock it and not let it pick up a routine (one day i go for a walk, the next day i do bycycle etc) so my body does not get used to it. even the reds i am taking 1 every two days. i hope this change will betray my body and keep on losing. yesterday i was very happy because i bought 2 dresses (one size less than i used to buy) so at least this is helping me into continue with this thing. even if it is hard as stone.
tig. i have your same problem. i have lunch at about 2 30pm then just have a small snack in the evening because i am not hungry. however i am afraid that this will slow my metabolism but since i am loosing im not minding that much i hope i am not doing this wrong cause my mom keep saying that i have to eat something small every 3 to 4 hrs to keep the metabolism working. anyway keep u updated. |

Hey Tig
The main thing id you're still losing!! :-)
For the 1st time ever i'm not wanting any easter eggs!!
Is anyone else on the 10mgs experiencing a COMPLETE loss of appetite?
I mean like i'm never hungry not when i wake up, nor once throughout the day?.
And as soon as i do have something i'm full almost sraightaway! Which is good but i dunno wasn't expecting it to be that severe sort of thing. I asked my Doc if i could go on to the 15mgs but he said he couldn't let me as i've lost too much to warrant it. but think it will probs be better to save that option for later if the weight coming off comes to a standstill.
There's a girl aged 20 on here? on the 15mgs? Was just wondering how you're doing.xxx |

Hi M'Lou, Sarah and all!
First of all, well done M'Lou, that's the spirit. I think it confirms that the more you stress about losing, the worse it is. Take it easy girl, keep on doing what you're doing and you'll start losing again. And the not eating after 6 is a very good option if you can do it. As for me, it's impossible because I don't get to start cooking before at least 7.30pm. As for Sarah, congratulations, that's a marvellous loss!! Yay you! Keep it up!
I am losing very slowly, but losing.. but the thing is I've noticed I'm eating far less than usual, way way less. On the one hand I'm hoping this will speed up the loss, and on the other I know that I'm not being sensible, and that this will result in a gain the first time I eat a large meal, (already dreading Easter Sunday lunch at my mum's tomorrow). Everyone's looking forward to eating lots of chocolate at Eastertime, but for me it might just as well be any other day. :( |

Hope everyone's all good and keepin positive?
I've not been on for a couple of weeks cos the internet has been dodgy, but now im back! :-).
So i've just finished my first 4 weeks on the 10mg reductil and had the weigh in with my doctor on thursday and i'd lost 1st 13lbs which i think is about 12 kgs? not too good on the metric etc lol.
I'm pleased with that but also proud of myself because i have worked really hard this month with exercise and stuff. So hope ur all doing well and i'll check in soon
Love Sarah

hey tig,
thanks for your help. i checked it out its very interesting, besides i went to my doc and told her what i was going to do (ie; stop them) as i was not seeing any movement. she told me to stop them for now, till i finish exams and everything and she also told me it could be the stress. so now since i have some reds left, i am going to take them every two days and see if it makes any difference. so i bet that this summer i cannot wear this bloody bikini. but anyway, im still eating less calorie, and doing exercise cause defenitely i do not want to gain the weight i managed to lose. yesterday when i measured myself i was a kilo less therefore now im 84. and even the cm went down around my bust, waist and hips. the thing is that i cannot understand this sudden shift as i was not taken reds, did not do exercise. the thing that i noticed however is that i only ate breakfast in the morning, then had my dinner after 2pm and then some snack around 6 but i did not eat after 6. could it be this? don t know but still pleased that i managed to loos a few cm hope that this would not be only for this week. anyway i bet that i have to start the reds in june then. thanks for your support:) by the way ur doing good. well done and keep it up. im sure that you will manage to reach your goal:) |

| I was sceptical at first when I heard about this Reductil. Before I took this pill, my weight was 90kgs. To my surprise, for the first few days i lost about 3kgs which is for me is simply unbelievable but true. Now after 2 months on Reds, I have lost about 14kgs. This pill is highly effective if you combined it with a simple diet plan and exercise. For quick and visible result, I recommend it very much. So far, I have not experienced any adverse side effect. Please give it a try, it really works !! |
