| thank you, i am really impressed with myself. i think the secret to my weight loss is the amount of exercise i have been including in with taking the reds. i make sure i go to the gym and work really hard when their at least 4 times a week as well as doing the school run and walking the dog. obviously its not all exercise as like i said i am generally quite active, the reds have really taking the edge of the cravings for rubbish food. i really dont feel the need to finish the kids food and i have halved my portion size. i tend to have a bannana in the morning as always in a hurry then for lunch i have been having soup or a bowl of cous cous then for tea i have a general meat and veg dinner but i make sure i dont overload the potatoes. when i get hungry in the evening i grab an apple. this is probably when i think of food the most and i have to use all my strength and will power not to eat. for anyone who is doubting the reds i would say that they are not a magical cure. you have to want to lose weight and work hard. i have founf plenty of days where i could have caved in however now i have seen the weightloss its def made me want to try even harder. the doctor said to me today that it was the best result that he has ever seen from these tablets and that the min he thinks my weightloss is really slowing he will put me up to the 15 but at the moment i feel fine on the 10's and clearly its something that really works for me. i just hope i can keep it up x |

I have been going to the gym approx 4 times a week and playing netball twice however i have always been active

with him we run and do weights, he goes to boxing twice a week...I am on reds he isn’t, he has lost 1 KG I have lost almost 5 oh and we eat more or less the same (I think he cheats) but it’s kind of fun doing it together. I am proving to him the reds do work as he was, maybe still is apprehensive but I so far am losing more. I know everyone doesn’t have a partner or friend but besides this site it’s really helping motivate me big time.
Someone posted re the pill, yes reds can have side effects and advise to use extra precaution, but everyone is different and I am not a doctor. I think if your monthly’s are off course its prob best to use something other than your pill, just to be on the safe side.
Keep up the good work ppl, and again well done xemx
sorry I wrote an essay without realising hehehe...WELL DONE LISA |

WOW
It’s been a few weeks since I have been on or should I say written anything and it’s amazing to see so many people posting, well done to those who have lost and good luck to those who are starting. I have been away on a little 5 day hol and during that time I decided to take a mini break from the reds...I am please to say I never put any weight on woop woop, I never lost much either but hey ho. I took my gym kit with me but sadly never made it, I will get back into it tomorrow. I ate well and I never felt hungry @ all even without taking the reds.
Any way up date, 6 weeks including 5 day break I have gone from 84.3kg to 79.6kg it doesn’t seem a lot but I am very happy and feel so much fitter muscle weights more than fat right!!! So I am assuming that fat is turning into muscle which is fine by me. I have some definition so I know it’s there, in my arms anyway, just waiting for my bingo wings to go boohoo I hate them the most and I have always had them, if only they go I will be happy for sure...
I see a few posts for meals....Try homemade soups for lunch/dinner, quick, easy and make mass to freeze, have chunky one’s as option for dinner and a blended on for lunch. Easy to carry to work, very cheap to make and just cut out the bad stuff if you get a recipes online ie use less/no butter/ no cream (it tastes just as good promise). Evenings I make a mass range of foods, chicken, fish, veg, curry (very little oil if any used) and still tasty, wraps/pitter instead of bread wholemeal of course, with chicken, veg, salad can be very filling...as appetite is not so great it’s easy to fill up quicker. The web is a great source for healthy recipe ideas just use uncle goggle or bbc food. Cut out the choc, crisps and MC Dees I have found that all too easy and have fruit instead. I would be happy to post or email some recipes if anyone is really stuck
I am now in competition with my husband, I am in the gym 4 days a week 1 hour to 1.30, 3 times with h ... |

Hi there
this is my first day of the tablets and so far no side effects ( give me time haha) but in answer to your question about spotting, I did read somewhere that is can interfere with you period, the article I was reading said it can make your periods late, so i suppose it can make you spot, but you can spot for any reason so it may or may not be the tablets, can anyone else tell me if they are safe to take with the pill? |

Hi all,
started Reductil 10mg yesterday and noticed this morning a bit of spotting - thought it was my period but it seems too early in the month for it to come.
Could this effect happen within 24h of taking reductil?
It is really helping me be in control of what I eat, but I am very worried about the side effects. |

| OK, just weighed in after my 2nd week on Red. and I only lost .8kg. Little dissappointed but hey, a loss is a loss, right? I'm going to increase my water intake this week - been a little slack there and see if that makes a difference this week. So in two weeks, I've lost 3kg.... Love reading evryone's posts. Find them very motivational. Keep them coming!!! Good Luck this week everyone, Jo ;o) |

| Hi All, its wonderful to hear all these inspriring stories. I was on Reds from April - June this year and I lost 13kgs. I then took a break (as it is quite expensive here in South Africa) and am now back on them from today. I just have felt pretty tired today and wondered if there is anyone else who is taking them for the second time. I have about 8kgs to go before I reach a healthy BMI. Hope you all have a good week :) |

| Dear kimberleym2105, as u've said being active n burning the energy u hve makes u feel better while using Reds. It's my third day, n I don't have the same feeling as the first day. I've started to walk for an hour twice a day, n the early mornings n at the evenings. I'm 160 cm and 69 Kgs, I'm trying to eat healthy n sometimes i force myself to eat. I'll keep u updated on my weight loss, I've planned to weigh myself weekly. Wish me LUCK:) |

If your experiencing any side effects that involve the heart... SEE your doc. You dont want to be playing around with things like that. Losing weight isnt worth your life. If may be as simple as reducing your dose.
Ive been on 10mg for almost eight weeks. I get really dry mouth (easy to handle... actually beneficial really), I sweat sooo much more and If I get really busy at work or go for a run I find my energy levels go insane and I cant sit still! If I laze around I get really tired but I find if I get moving its hard to stop!! (Also beneficial)
Force yourself to get up and get motivated. It doesnt have to be a total gym workout. Clean the house, play with the kids, take the dog for a walk. I havent entered a gym since starting these meds.
My daily meal is:
1 slice wholemeal toast /no butter/ jam or vegemite
1 tub yoghurt for morning tea (low fat) or a piece of fruit
Lunch is usually flavoured tuna on rye crackers
Dinner will be veg based with a small portion of meat (lean) NO POTATO!
Ill have only 1 coffee a day with skim milk.
I used to love sweet coffee but ive gradually added less each time and now I dont need much sugar at all.
Try eat carbs early in the day so you have time to work them off. Avoid them at night at all costs! I stick to complex carbs like wholemeal and rye.
Base meals on fruit and veg.. it fills you up and its fat free!
If I feel like desert Ill eat a weight watchers desert.. but not every night.
Weight Watchers Point books are fantastic for giving you ideas and healthier options. Things you think are 'healthy' are actually not so much. You can buy them online without purchasing membership.
Keep posting its so interesting to read everyones experiences! |

| Hi dana_alkhalili. I am only on 10mg, I'm not sure if this makes a difference to the side effects. I haven't experienced any irregualar heartbeat. From what I have been reading on the net it is different for everybody. Obviously I have been one of the lucky ones. |

| Hello aaimee, i also have PCOS and have trouble with weight all my life and have just been told it isnt possible to have children unless we do IVF which is out of our price range, so i have decided to loose weight to do something for me now to feel better about myself so i will also start my reductil in a week or so when i have the money to fill the script, but what i would like to know is has anyone else joined the Triminsix program and how do they find it????? All the best Aaimee in your journey.. |

| I have been on them for only a week. For the first few days i was a little tired, by day 4 regained some energy. To the extent that my house is now spotless. The only other side efffect so far is a dry month which has only really encouraged me to drink more water. I have found them no trouble SO FAR THAT IT. |
