| Hi all well it looks like there are a few of us starting at the same time and around the same weight, im on day 5 of the reds and starting at 92 kilos anyone want to track their weight with me..?? |

| Josy, That's a good motivation for me if I keep tracks with you while i'm on reds. My exercise is limitted to walking min 30 mins max 1 hr 3-4 times a week. I work full time and sometimes my energy level is zero when i get home, I'm 38 and hardly see myself overweight. (i was last year)but you know what I eat goes to hips and thighs :( and I'm going to make a nice body for my b'day in November The reason you don't have headache anymore is because you drink lots of water. though drinking lots of water can be a reason for headche too but only in the first couple of days, then body will be adjusted and you feel much better. Here are tips that were useful for me: - drink lots of water, it can suppress food craving - take reds the first thing in the morning, as soon as u get up, this will reduce side effects - do not weigh yourself everyday. sometimes it's really disappointing to see you haven't dropped any. do it max twice per week. - reds acts somehow like Placebo effect, you need to believe that the pills can help you to lose weight, otherwise they really don't. and you just give yourself hard time . - make your meal of fibers(to reduce constipation), low calorie dairies. - eat whatever your body craves but just taste it instead of having a full dish, this will help you to think less about food. | Hi Mom_of_two_lovely, Welcome back, yourself and I should keep each other posted on our weight loss, since our current weight is the same. Yeah, my first day, I felt tired and had a headache, my second day was a bit the same. Today was my third day, and I'm not really feeling a headache. Do you exercise? I'm not doing any exercise at the moment since the weather is bad. Do you have any tips and advise for me please? I don't each much, but I drink water a lot. I'm hoping to loose some weight by the end of my first month. Keep me posted |

| Its stange to tell people that your on them I know that feeling, i think that im afraid that people will either judge me or watch every mouthful of food I put in my mouth... So only my close family boyfriend.. I have been over weight for most of my adult life im 36! and also have an underactive throid so that is a major problem for me, i lost interest in losing weight becuase no matter what I did it was'nt working so I went back to the doctor and he double my throid tablets and gave me Reds.. its also a self confidence thing as well, i just dont feel attractive and just plain sick of haven to lug around all this weight.. I am still thinking what will I have next but I was the type of person that would eat the minute that I felt hungry so its a case of re-training my brain!! i am hoping to lose two stone before chrismtas that is about 13kil that is a lot but I will keep trying, im just sooooooooo hard to lose weight. |

| Hi Josy, I had headache when i started 10mg.I lost 6 kgs in one month with 15 mg last year. to avoid 15 mg side effects i decided to try 10mg. to my big surprise side effects were worse and i stopped taking the pills after 2 weeks and i didn't lose even 1 kg. This is my 2nd day on 15mg again and except dry mouth i can say i'm ok. i'm 67 too and my goal is 62kgs |

| Hi adamkelly, yes definitely! I havent told many people im on reductil (just my husband and mam) and as neither of them have a weight problem it'll be nice to have someone to chat to who is going through the same thing! Its my 6th day on them. The first 2 days I spent in bed crippled with a migraine. It was dreadful but im ok since so I cant definitely say it was the reductil... I have felt a bit of hunger here and there but more than anything I have found that I feel fuller quicker! Which I never had before. I do find im not as interested in food. Before I used to spend my day thinking "what will I have next" but im not doing that anymore. I still plan out what im having for breakfast, lunch and dinner but i dont wolf down my lunch and start thinking then about dinner!! :) Its strange feeling full!! Everyone seems to say exercise is def a big part so im walking twice a day and I do an aerobics class twice a week also. I have been doing this for over a year now and i do really enjoy it so that helps!! I too have no interest in fizzy drinks, they taste funny to me! | Hi sheryl, sorry only noticed your reply! This is my 6th day on them. So far so good! I have the same amount as u to lose so about 25kg! It is hard work but im hoping it will be worth it in a couple of months when we're much healthier and slimmer!! Im 26 now and I havent been slim since I was 18. I went on the pill and ballooned from there... | Hi everyone,Hope you all have a good healthy weekend :-) well looks like a of people are posting since I was on, I only work Mon to thur and no pc at home so was dying to get back in the morning and read some posts. Well this is my 5 day on reds... I dont have any side effect a bit of a dry mouth but nothiing else, and I cant feel them working, I also though (silly me) that Reds stop you from feeing hungry so you eat less and lose weight, well I was worried after been on them for four days and still feeling hungry and rumbling pains in my stomack so I went are re-read the leaflet that came with them, which states "Reductil makes you feel full sooner so you eat less" its does'nt state that it stops you from feeling hungry!!, I am finding it very very hard to stop myself from snacking and also thinking about food non stop, typical diet sysdrome i think... I do find that when I do eat that I do feel full quicker but its the strangest feeling of full becuase I can still feeling my stomach grumbling with the hungry, weird hey??anyone else have have this.? But have to say went to the movies last night and got the typicallr popcorn and diet coke and my boyfriend got some munchies n I could not even drink the coke had a few handfuls of the popcorn. maybe they are starting 2 work now. Cant really feel them working a lot but yes there not a miracle pill, in my case I find that it is sheer will power that is stopping me from snack and eating rubbish, havent lost any weight as yet but been at the gym twice since last thur ( when I started) and boy did I do a good work out, so going to give myself two weeks and weight in then. So to eveyrone that asked the question do you still feel hungry well in my case the answer is YES I do and I dont feel any different on them, but as my doctor said it takes time to kick in.I Find that i need support to motive me and my weight is making my life miserable and haven health issue as well becuase of it. Please keep me motivate, |

| Hi tamhills just in response to your post. I just wanted to let you know that I too, constantly think of food. After two weeks though it is easing! I think it is just habbit. In the past I have just eaten for the sake of eating, I have never really eaten due to hunger. | Hi everyone! I just completed my second week on reductil and I lost 1.1kg thats a total of 2.9kg in two weeks. I am still not exercising a great deal so I suppose my results are not too bad. I did hope to have lost a little more as I am eating so much less and a lot healthier than before. | HI there, have googled up this message board regarding Reductil! Loved reading everyones stories.. About me... I am an Aussie Mum of 2,39 years young, currently weighing in at 92kg! I am 155cm tall. I started Reductil 5 days ago. Its giving me a dry mouth, I definitely feel less interest in food, I havnt lost any weight yet but the doctor did say 1 to 2kg a month, and if I havent lost after 2 months to come back and he will up the dosage. BUT I have discovered that my Restless Leg Syndrome has been all but gone for the last 3 nights! I have suffered from RLS for many years along with my father, 2 sisters and one of my nephews. I actually thought that the Reductil may make it worse but low and behold it is gone! It is the only thing that has changed ( and I am eating a bit less I think) I am not sleeping particularly well, but that has always been the case, only now its not because of the RLS. I am sure I am still eating too much, I tend to eat from habit, not cos I am hungry. I havent done any excercise yet as we have had a few very busy days but I am hoping my husband will do some running and stuff with me this afternoon. I am really hoping this works for me as I am on my last gasp as far as weight loss goes, I have tried EVERYTHING! I guess the next step for me would be lapbanding if this doesnt work, and I really dont want and cant afford to go there. I want to be slim, taught and terrific by my 40th in August next year! |

| hi all, i am 20years of age and I weight 130 pounds but the fat on my body is concentrated on my shoulders and neck and i am pretty busty as well(cup size C;() and that maked me look ultra fat:-( I have tried a lot of diets but they never work for me because I dont have patience to stick to it for more than a couple of days, i was told about reductil by my teacher and initially i was very excited! but my dad isnt letting my try it out because he says it can cause a lot of problems like menstrual irregularities, and my periods aren't regular already either:( being a student of medicine I agree that he is right but im desperate to lose weight because it is affecting the quality of my life;( a classfellow of mine is on reductil and she had lost 11 pounds in less than two weeks! I wish I could do the same! i need HELP!! |

| Hi sherlyroe...i think it was day 2/3 that i started noticing the tablets were working. I just noticed i hadnt thought about food that much so i do think it takes a couple of days for them to start working. Have u much to lose? | Hi, I started taking reductil yesterday, I am not feeling any side effects at all and am still feeling hungry in between breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can anyone tell me how long the tablets take to kick in. Just bit worried that they are not working, can't seem to find out. | Hi everyone, i weighed myself this morning (Sun) and i've lost 6lbs since wed! Cannot believe it! Its prob only water but its so encouraging to see a downward movement on the scales!!! :) I havent been that hungry and im still doing my exercise every day so apart from the headaches the first 2 days, its been very positive so far! | Hi everyone, I started taking reds yesterday. And I did experienced some headaches and also not feeling hungry. A little bit tired as well, but I guess it might be because its my first day. My starting weight is 67.59. I am hoping to go down to 59Kgs by the end of the four weeks. Its very motivational to read all your amazing stories. Keep them coming in people.
