Hi Michellel
I felt the same, tired and moody headaches sweats etc but that has all passed. I dont feel like eating much myself all last week I only eat fruit for lunch etc and hardly any dinner like you, but I have come to the conclusion that this is not good!! what happens when we come off the tablets and we will have to eventually, its not good not to eat anything, so im going to try and eat more, 3 meals a day, yes cut down on portion size but to make sure to eat something, I did crave sugar for a bit and my down fall was diet coke used to drink 2 or sometime 3 cans a day so off that now, but im drinking flavored water instead. if you dont eat your body will think it starving and hold onto the the fat that we have so although we dont feel like eating its the worse thing we can do.
Im going to eat the foods im going to eat when i stop the pills and see what happends ( healthy foods and a small treat at the weekends) |

| Hi wallea00, have weighed in with a 2.2kg loss. I'm happy but am sure a lot of it is fluid cos I don't feel any skinnier. Feel dreadfully constipated though, but am eating fruit and drinking water?? No desire for choc which is strange for someone who'd have chocolate for breakfast, diner, supper and a snack. Completely gone off the fizzy drinks too. Have lost track but think i should be near time of month as I feel a bit crampy. Really hope to lose even half this every week. Good luck ! |

| larienagorman - I have heard that the first week can see big losses and is mainly water weight and from then on the weight loss is actual fat loss so that's a good thing!! Stay positive - you're doing a great job and the exercise and eating right can only be positive in the long term!! |

| Hey guys, had my second weigh in this morning and im down another kg...i was a little disapointed after being down 4kg the 1st week but its 5 kg altogether in 2 weeks so i know i never would have done that on my own. I wonder do the pills not work so much after the first week or what the story is? I mean i still walked twice a day, ate around 1200 calories everyday like last week and i wasnt expecting the same loss as last week just afraid its gonna get harder now to lose the weight and I still have another 20kg to go... Is anyone having the same experience. I physically cant up my exercise or cut out calories or ill fall down!! :) |

Hey Tamhills! well done on your weightloss. I too am uping the exercise this week, but I find it so difficult. I just dislike exercising so much. I have a room full of exercise equipment and it was collecting dust up unitl a few days ago. As much as I dislike it I am forcing myself to jump on the treadmill every day.
As for food tips- I'm sticking to weight watchers as I find it fits into my life style pretty well and it is a program that I can maintain for life. They have some great low fat recipes. I have also been buying a few of there frozen meals, that I use when I'm in a hurry. |

| Hi adamkelly72003 thanks for your advice. I actually have been drinking a heap of water, which I never did before beginning the reds. I actually think I aim retaining fluid, as I my ankles are quite swollen at the moment. I have had an issue with fluid in the past. I go to the doctor next weeks so I am going to ask her about it. |

| Hi hillbillychick38 - Just checking if you are all set to weigh in tomorrow. I am very nervous, I have been really good so fingers crossed. I will post my results tomorrow night (Australia time). As I wont be able to get to the computer until then. Obviously I will weigh myself first thing in the morning (at my lightest), as I need all the help I can get. |

hi everyone, well i just got back from the doctor..it will be a month tomorrow since starting reductil....the doctor was very impressed with my almost 5 kg weightloss as am i! so i got another box of reductil and im hoping for even better results next month..that is my new goal! the doctor thought 5 kgs was great..i didn't mention the fact ive had a day off every week where i had a take away meal...and i did not a minute of exercise for the first fortnight because i felt so tired...and ive still been having the odd chocolate bar and beers, imagine how much better the results could have been had i not had all of those things!but anyway..im not having any little extra's this month..exercising every day for the WHOLE month and only having a day off once a fortnight and see what happens! The doctor told me around 80% of people on reductil will regain the weight within 6-24 months after stoping the pills!but i asked him if it had anything to do with the pills and he just said its strickly because once people hit there goal and go off the pills they get lazy and stop being careful with what they eat! if thats the only reason they say you will regain the weight i can handle that!i dont see this as a 6 month diet i see it as a change for life! so hopefully i'll be one of the 20 % anyway
anyway hope you are all doin great today and feeling very positive!!
lisa ;) |

Good Morning,
I've been on reds for 11 days (today) and i lost 3.9Kgs, I'm a bit worried to re gain the weight i will loose once i stop the pills as i'm loosing quite a bit in a short time. i'm not eating enough not more than 700 calories a day but it's only because i don't feel like eating anything although i'm hungry and this makes me feel nausea cause i will be hungry but not eating.
any comments??
thx |

Well Tamhill
Congratulation... A lose is a lose, and even though sometimes a lil disapointing just think you are now that lil bit closer to being victorious over the battle... Keep ya chin up... I dont get a whole lot of time to exercise and as you may have read I am at a stand still with weight loss HOWEVER...
I did measurements last night and I have lost a HUGE amount in cm... 15cm just off Hips, Waist and Bust...
Which made me not too worried about the scales...
So keep going you are doing well. |

| Hi Carolyn, I felt like that for first 3 days & thought this is great the tabs must work. But 3 days later the feeling isn't as strong and I think it's more my determination/desperation that's keeping me on track. First weigh in on the 15th so heres hopin. This is my last hope!!! |
