Good morning Larienagorman
So how did the weekend go? I found this weekend hard, with the family get together for lunch on sat and everyone had chinese ( I had an apple :-) ) and then a party on sat and I had a few drinks ( light drinks) and I managed to stay away from the buffet table...
SO anyway weighed in on Friday ( could not wait till sat :-) ) and I down another 1.5kilo so that is a total of 5kilo, we have lost the same I think, so its a race to the finish line :-) x

nice to hear from you, glad your still are doing well, its been a hard few days over the weekend, had a party on Saturday had a few drinks but i stayed away from the hot food being served.... did did not break my diet but found I was very very hungry on sat and sun so was eating more that i was the last two weeks, but non of it was junk food...How are you finding the 15mg? did the 10mg not work for you... dont no if my tabs are working as well as I want them too. i.e reducing the hunger but i will perseve on them.
Done a weigh in on Friday and so far im down 5kgs in 15 days so cant complain about that :0) I also agree with you about not starving yourself, i found the last two weeks I harly eat anything but now I have to eat as I was getting weak etc in the gym and when I was out, so I back to 3 small but regular meals a day lots of fruit and water and will see how I do this week... still a long way to go but im a step closer on the ladder.x |

| Hi wallea00, how did the weekend go. Thurs will be 2 weeks for so fingers crossed I'm down something. Still feeling constipated, think I'm eating enough so maybe I should drink more water. Can't get up the energy to go to the gym yet, will give it this week & try again, need motivation for the gym and don't sem to have any !! |

| Hi k_maree. I think 6 kgs in 4 weeks is a very good result and I don't think having days off as long as it's not more than once a week makes any problem. It works for me because i heard from my doctor that body gets use to very low calorie diet and adjusts its needs by taking less calorie that's why after a while you stop losing weight because actually your body is economozing in metabolism, So to be said, a day off after a week or 10 days normally confuses your body and makes it boost calorie burning, also you satisfy your hunger too. It seems you have found the solution for constipation. Just drink more water and go for walking everyday. walking can do magic when it's combined with reductil. But to be honest I did feel terrible when I was on 10 mgs. More side effects and less result for me, that's why I shifted to 15 mgs. and I'm so happy with 3 kgs I lost in 2 weeks. Go ahead girl, don't give up please. |

Hi Karen, my doctor just gave me a script for red-10mgs. I'm trying to find out as much information as I can. i'm a bit concerned about the imsomnia part, as I have to take some medications to get to sleep. I'm about 35kilos overweight, so I'm really desperate to get rid of this excess FAT!!

| hi everyone,congrats to everyone for all the weightloss!! i was hoping someone could help me out here, i was doing great with eating and exercising until about a week ago..im in my 5th week..weightloss now is just over 6 kgs on the 10 mgs and i feel terrible...i cant bring myself to exercise..im constipated and all i want to do is sleep! i feel so tired and moody and i havent even been careful with what i eat...i dont know why this is happening! my partner thinks i def need multi vitamins and he bought me some which i have started today(also coloxyl for constipation which is amazing and worked within 2 hours!) ive been allowing "days off" too and i guess maybe this could be part of the problem but has anyone else experienced this after a few weeks,maybe the reductil is not working for me anymore? |

Hi Everyone,
It's been a week that I was away. God... what a hectic week it was! kids with flu at home, husband away on business trip and loads of work at office. This is the start of my 3rd week and already lost 3kgs in two weeks, I cheated on Friday but I don't feel guilty for doing that. It gave me such a big relief and now i'm ready for the 3rd week challenge.
@Kimberley: that's a great result. I'm so happy for you
@adamkelly: how areyou doing? still losing weight fast? what's your current weight? :) I still have 3 kgs to my goal.

Hi, once again,
It has been about a week since I last upgraded my progress, although the numbers havenât been as dramatic as it was the first week, I am still at a lossâ¦.. 20 capsules down the track â15mgâ and have lost thus far 11kg. Starting weight 118, current weight 107 with 10 capsules to go.
My diet has been consistent, I didnât want to embark on this weight loss journey starving myself, i just cut out all the junk food including sweets and only have those weight watches jelly and moose whenever i feel like i need a sugar buzz

| That is true blackhorse, in fairness i did that in 2003 and it stayed ok for 2 yrs. Then I got pregnant in 2005 and lost most of it after I had the baby but I've gained twice what I lost since !!!!I'm sticking with the reds for a while (maybe 2 months) to give me a kickstart, Good luck too ! |

| I spoke to my Dr yesterday and he told me no diet just watch your food not to gain weight and after 4 months i will be wearing 2 dress sizes less. |

tam- You will be able to do it easy! I have ni will power when it comes to delicious foods! i.e. McDonalds!
Its just finding a way to maintain things that works for you. Everyones different.
Ive tried Atkins, Soup Diets, Lite and Easy, Shake diets.. just to list a few! Now Reductil has given me that immediate weightloss, Im pretty much losing on my own and have found my own, sensible, way to control my habits! Have faith and be determined that things WILL change! |

| Hi all, had a few drinks last night and really didn't want to do the "day after" eating. Only vice was had a glass of chocolate milk and a small triangle of my son's pizza. Since then, have had a gorgeous glass of Shiraz but think that's me done as I still have to get over weekend, haven't been out for 3 weeks sooo wish me luck !! Just an update..
Finally lost another kilo!!! Hooray!! Its getting harder. Im still on the 10s but Im having to calorie count and excercise so I dont think the caps are doing much but Im very happy Im doing it pretty much on my own.
So this makes a total of 11kg loss with 7kg to go!
Im 173cm and weighed 86.6.. now Im 75.5! 2 kilos and Im at a healthy BMI.
Its such an amazing feeling. I promised myself if Irech that goal Im buying a new bikini and (finally) some designer jeans. Ive never been able to find comfy jeans but thats going to change!
Keep sharing! I love reading everyone struggles and triumphs! |

Hiya Guys
Update, start weight 84.3kg in my 9th week 77.6kg woopwoop. On 15mg.
Just want to say everyone stop worrying I have been taking the reds now for 9 weeks, I am eating well...I have fallen off the wagon, I have had some nites out on the pop and a few treats but I am still losing. So far I have been very steady at approx 1kg per week. Yesterday I hardly ate a thing and I had the worst headache ever. I am putting this down to taking the tab and not eating what I should of like 3 meals a day, I only had a very small amount and water. I would say if youâre suffering then maybe you need to eat more, please donât starve yourself even in week one try your best to stick to 3 healthy meals and fruit. For constipation I recommend Flax meal in milk or a protein drink (I have protein drink if I donât eat lunch, to make sure my body has something to burn off especially the day I go to the gym).
I am not worried at all about losing this weight so slowly because the longer it takes the longer I can keep it off, the reds arenât going to be forever, its assisting me in a lifestyle change, helping me train myself to rid the bad habits and pushing me into the gym, something I hope to do when I stop taking reds. As for feeling unwell, I have good days and bad, I have mood swings and days when all I want to do is cry. some days I feel like I have no energy and others I am bouncing off the walls, I still have nights when I donât sleep and nights when I sleep like a baby I put this all down to the reds as prior to that I was fine apart from the sleeping thatâs been an issue for me since moving here. Dry mouth has never left me, some days itâs not as bad and others it forces me to drink even more water.
I see when reading this bored loads of people starting off and losing loads, at first I was gutted and wondered why I wasnât the same. Then I looked at what I was doing and I know I have change bad habits, I was in the gym and eating well. Everyone is different ... |

Hi hillbillychick, Sorry I didn't post my weightloss last night! I lost 1.1kg, I was pretty happy as I weighed in 2 days early so we were in sinc with each other. Congrats on your weightloss! 2.2kg is fantastic, It may take a while to feel it espeacially if you are constipated and near that time of month.
I have a birthday party to go to tomorrow and I am feeling very nervous about it. I don't trust myself. |

Your body is still recovering from Surgery and will take time to heal, my sister had the same op done and it took months before she was back to normal. you need lots of engery for you body to heal so you need to eat more... more healthy foods with lots of Iron and calcium etc..did you doc prescribe the tabetls for you? if so go back and talk to him, maybe its too soon for you to be on them after surgery..

Thank you for everyone asked about me, i can tell you that i'm a bit better now and i think it's my mistake, i'm eating very little not more than 700 to 800 calories a day + i took a panadol night to sleep yesterday as i was upset and couldn't sleep.
NB. i had a liposuccion 2 months ago i don't know if it has any relation, maybe no extra fat to burn and no enough calories caused me this. will try to eat a bit more and will take the pills maybe 4 times a week.

Its free to join and the people on "The Biggest Loser" use it whilst on the show to help them.
Basically you register, type in your height, weight and age and it tells you how many calories you should be consuming in a day.
You type in ALL of the food/ drink you consume in a day, the excercise and the amount of water youve had. It then shows you how you went that day.
There are recipe ideas as well if your struggling for something new.
It saves your progress and tracks your weightloss.
Its been FANTASTIC!
If your having trouble doing number 2s, dont worry, it does pass. Keep the water going and maybe try some Metamucil (Fibre) daily after dinner. It worked for me, just dont take it on an empty stomach! |
