| I'm going through this right now also. It hurts... It's caused me to stop eating for the feeling that I might be too fat, caused me to think of having an affair just to satisfy the sexual tension and stop the late night bedroom arguing. | I too have the same problem with my man. we have been together for 2 /12 years now and sex used to be great and constant but now he is never interested. i have talked to him about it but never get anywhere, i am always the one who initiates it these days, and even then it takes forever to get him intersted sometime i just give up, roll over and go to sleep. it does hurt to be rejected constantly in bed even though you know your loved.there is just always an excuse, im tired, i have a sore head, sore back, sore throat etc etc...thing is like everything the longer you go without the less you crave it. i dont know what to do anymore.... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| To the guy who started this thread , you lost it you'll find it , if you want.!!!! Ok , interesting reading girls, without knowing all the details , a lack of sex drive can't be just the fault of ya man. Sex isn't just for the bedroom. Tryed toys??? ,bit of porn would never go astray. Dirty text msg every now and then , definately can arouse an interest. Going out for dinner and forgetting to wear knickers ....oops!!! that will get most guys excited. Got a car??? there not just for driving you know.!!!! Look you all seem keen to get it happening with ya partners , but moaning about not taking out the rubbish , or gee the lawn needs a mow . IS A TURN OFF!!!:) But if all that fails , there's always the , " flirting with another guy." As long as kept harmless , he'll soon realise what his got , and what others are trying to get.!!! I've been with my wife 15yrs and we do it , 4-5 times a week , i think we should do it more , but i'd be pushing my luck.:) You can be a wife , mother , lover , and a bit of a tart sometimes. ( with your hubby i mean) Its all good. But don't just blame him , make the move , and remember he is your husband , surely you can't / shouldn't get embarrassed. Well hope it all works out . If you've done all that , well maybe they're all gay. Or you've let yourself go??? , come on does happen , sexy clothes , nice hair , bit of makeup works wonders. Years ago now ihad a crack at my wife , you go to work looking great , sexy hot etc , but on the weekends , i get the trackie dacks and the don't give a s h i t . So i said to her. Surely i deserve the same treatment as your work mates.?? I'm ya husband after all. It worked. good luck! |

| Have you figured out the problem? | Hi folks just want to give some belated input here! I too have experienced this disturbing problem and for the un initiated out there its very serious to us males. The problem in my case had to do with an on going injury I was taking antinflamitory medication and it affected my sex drive big time. I also know that being injured caused me added stress and anxiety for this I took medication. The result for me was simple ditch the medication as soon as I was able to, get over the pain and relax. Exercise is also a big player in this area it helps to stimulate the bodys natural sex drive as well as improving your health. | Glen have you been badly let down by a girl in the past? Was there one sexual encounter where you maybe were tired and just plain did'nt want sex, but went ahead anyway, and it was far from satifying? Or and I ask this in total honesty, no jibbing etc., are you subconsciously questioning your sexual preference? Maybe you should seek the councelling of a sex therapist? Good Luck |

| I am wondering what your husband was eating. My boyfriend is the same way. He has a zero sex drive, I am lucky to get it once a month. He eats very poorly and all he drinks is pop. I am getting frustrated, but I love him to death and I am willing to try anything. | go and see a professional - a doctor, counsellor, or a life coach, they're trained in this sort of thing. it could be stress, job worries, money worries, poor diet absolutely anything. | If you find out what the real problem is, will you please let me know. My husband has a zero sex drive. Thank God I love him as much as I do, because we haven't had sex now for 3 1/2 years, and it is about to drive me out of my mind. I know he loves me, but he just has absolutely no desire for sex. He is the best husband I could ask for in every other way. And he says he was the happiest he has ever been in his life when we used to have a sex life. | maybe your zero sex drive has to do with the diet and the lifestyle that you are leading. My husband had a problem with zero sex drive and it was due to his poor diet. | I know this is a long time after you wrote but maybe you will still read it. Has something changed in your friendships. Maybe you want to be str8 but aree a latent gay. Don't be offended by this suggestion but be honest with your thoughts and feelings. Can you or do you still get an erection, and if you do do you masturbate. Try reading some erotic stories of both kinds and see if that stirs something within you. | This is something thats starting to really freak me out. The problem is that i have no sex drive whatsoever. I dont understand it at all. In the past it has been very very high and was such a central part of my life--now it is as though im dead inside--I know that some people may say "oh its just psychological" but its more than that--i could see an image of a hot girl or even be with one and i feel nothing--problem is i really want what i used to feel back and i can understand why---I cant help thinking that maybe my hormones are out of whack or something i just dont know.
