I was thinking exactly the same thing! I was disgusted. I watch BH&G every week just to see what perfectly good items Tara throws out, cuts up or otherwise destroys to make junky objects for tomorrow's landfill.
This week she is buying brand new coloured thongs to cut up and paint white on a canvas. Why not use old thongs? Why not use white ones, instead of wasting paint? She cuts out a cardboard invitation and punches some flowers - from the edge of the sheet? Oh no, from the centre, and throws out twice as much! Probably not into the recycling either...
They are so schizophrenic. One minute they are advertising green cleaning products, the next minute they are using disposable wipes. Out of step with reality.
At least Rob was restoring an old BBQ. Tara must have lost the argument to turn it into a giant paper weight ... |

| I was watching tonights BHG and was disgusted at the amount of useful items put into the skip, this creates unnecessary landfill and polutions when similar items are manufactured. I would like BHG to do a story on freecycle.org so that people are aware there is no need to send useful items to landfill (especially when handy people could do minor repairs). Don't skip it, Freecycle it |
