Gardening with native plants Reply to this message
So how do people feel about native plants in their gardens these days? Interest in them seems to wax & wane. It appears to me that lately there have been so many good new reliable plants coming out.
At my place a pretty broad selection of natives (over 100 species & varieties) are surviving through the full range of conditions and most are standing up pretty well.
I'd love to hear the thoughts of other gardeners on this.
Maybe some tips for plants you've had great success with?
And failures too... I know I haven't had much luck with most of the new kangaroo paws yet my old-fashioned kangaroo paws are brilliant.
