I have severe buyer's remorse. I recommend against buying a Sleep Number Bed from Select Comfort.

Want half a bed? If not, do not buy a Sleep Number
Bed from Select Comfort. My wife and I bought a Sleep Number Bed in 2005, total price installed, $2,228.59. It has a 20 year LIMITED warranty. Her side is still good. My side started going bad after 3 years. First, no number readout on my wired control. Then, it would not hold enough air on my side. If I do not sleep far from the edge, I could roll out of the bed.

To have this bed checked, I must send it to one of their service centers. What would we use for a shipping container? I am handicapped. Where would we sleep in the meantime? They would make us pay 40% of the price of a new one. Select Comfort reserves the right to replace our mattress with a "better quality, and to use or deliver refurbished products or components..."

Buyer beware!

My husband and I are thinking of purchasing a Select Comfort Sleep Number bed because our current bed is a coil bed and it is very uncomfortable, no matter how many times we flip it. We are both larger people and have back issues. I would like some testimonials before we make a purchase. Can anyone help me please? Thanks much!
