They shouldn't be....
Unless it's administered in a hospital by a physician for medical reasons such as asthma or allergy based/recuperative procedures. |

| Creatine is not a bad supplement, but it is only that.I was taking steriods over afew years and made great gains. But believe it or not while training in Canada over an 18 month period not using anything other than EAS protien and Creatine I put on more size and strengh than I had while using.I simply trained hard day in day out and made sure I kept a training diary and kept track of what I was eating.Protien is a must but you also need calories and rest to grow.Simply, you just have to work hard, sorry. |

| As far as steriods go.Writing through experience,I have trained in Germany,Canada and Australia for around 17years.I would not reccomend using any type whatsoever unless you have at least four or five years of solid training under your belt.Anything less shows a lack of commitment. You need to learn through trial and error, what works for your body. You also need to learn about nutrition, the importance of rest and recuperation. This all takes years. Also, you need your body to have adapted to some serious weight training or your joints either now or in five years will tell you all about it.I would also see a doctor and tell them what you intend to do .Most will try and talk you out of it but tell them youve made up your mind but you would like to do it as safe as possible. They should be able to keep an eye on you with some blood ,urine tests while your on them. Most of all,do your homework as to where the steriods came from. Are they the real deal especially in australia. If in doubt dont touch them. You can buy books that show counterfeit packaging on line.Keep training for a while,it doesnt sound like youve done a lot(Excuse me if Im wrong)or you wouldnt be asking these questions.Good luck |

Steroids are legal in Australia as a treatment of certain medical conditions...
However, if you are referring to the use of anabolic steriods as a performance enhancer/bodybuilding drug then they are illegal.
Not only are steriods illegal as an anabolic supplement but can cause various health issues (eg: testicular atrophy). Steriods should only be considered if you have already been a champion amateur bodybuilder and are training for major professional comps (eg: Mr Olympia).
A good a legal performance enhancer is Creatine. Along with a protein enriched diet, plenty of sleep, absence of alcohol and a solid training regime you will make good gains. |
