| I have not heard any policy releases about amendments after 30 june 2009 so I would not be so sure about getting the $900 any more. |

| Yes. You can amend your tax return 2008 within two years from the date the notice of assessment was issued. Once your taxable income is over $11,000, you will receive the tax bonus of $900 because your original tax return 2008 was lodged by 30 June 2009. |

| It is a bit slack isn't it. I paid tax but got it all back because of the low income rebate. If I had altered my deductions so I would qualify, would be about $600 better off. |

to recieve the $900 stimulus package, you need to have earnt over $11000 in 07/08. my taxable income was $10500. would it be possible to change my tax assessment for the period(reduce my tax deductions) to increase my taxable income for the period gone?
