"Is the ATO a registered Australian company?"
More like a sign of lacking awareness.
As for the rest, if you are alluding to an unconstitutional power then pack your conspiracy theories up and move to America with the other nutjobs. |

I don't quite understand where you are going with this, but you can find the ATO's ABN 51 824 753 556 here
http://www.ato.gov.au/corporate/content.asp?doc=/c ontent/18302.htm
You have to pay GST in Australia if you purchase good and services from a GST registered entity on a taxable supply.
The ATO is a Federal Government body, set up to administer the Australian Tax System. Visit the ATO website for further details, or get their Annual Report at

| Isn't the G.S.T. a voluntary tax? Is the ATO a registered Australian company? Where is the paperwork trail showing the authority of the ATO to act and collect monies in Australia...Anyone? |
